“While touring BC on my way to Vancouver my vehicle unfortunately broke down and as a result I was stuck in Langley for a bit.

Walking between the dealership and my hotel anxiously awaiting any news at all, this cafe had caught my eye.

I stepped in a stressed out mess but that quickly changed, as the energy within pours tranquillity, homeliness, and love.

A beautiful family run diner that has not let corporate greed diminish the quality of their service or products.

I recommend to all Langley residents and travellers alike to stop in and visit this amazing cafe.“

“Best burger I have ever tasted! Pizzas as good as any top Italian pizzeria. Brunch was excellent. Basically every dish is elevated but prices are not. Great service beautiful restaurant Chefs pride is tasted in every detail on each plate.“

“MacKarino's Kitchen at the White Rock Legion is an absolute gem. The vibe is warm and welcoming, friendly service, genuine smiles, and an easygoing atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. The food is true homestyle cooking, done with care. Every plate feels like it came out of a family kitchen, not off a line. And the fries… they deserve a special mention — easily the best handcut fries on the West Coast. If you’re in White Rock and haven’t eaten at MacKarino’s Kitchen inside the Legion yet, you’re missing out.“

“10/10 experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff who were friendly and attentive throughout my entire dining. The atmosphere is beautifully designed as well. The food and drinks were fresh, flavourful and made with care. I want to thank Mark for recommending the strawberry matcha latte and tiramisu latte, I found both drinks had the perfect amount of sweetness. He was very knowledgeable in the drinks and food as I was looking for something as a light snack and highlighted the BLT, thaimato & basil and the chocolate croissant. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for amazing coffee, food and service. Thank you again Mark and we will be back !!“

Our server was absolutely fantastic—so attentive, warm, and thoughtful. The manager also went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. “I really like this place. The food is good, the staff are friendly, and the building itself is really nice and well maintained. It is obvious that the owner genuinely takes pride in what he does. I like to come for social hour at 2:00, when I am able. There are some great prices on food and drinks. But I often come at noon for lunch. One time I mistakenly thought I had left my wallet behind. Heaven and earth was moved to try to find it. It was later found in my truck. Thanks Kyle, sorry about that.“

“Our server was very polite and a pleasure to talk to . The cocktails we ordered were mixed properly although my wife's Bellini looked like it was sitting on the counter for a while before being delivered to our table. The food presentation and taste was up to standard but they ran out of New York Striploin and Filet Mignon steaks. That is terrible !!! Not one type of steak but Two !“

“Just popped in with friends after doing the 5k Foam Fest. It's a cute little restaurant. We had some fresh flowers on our table, and the women's washroom had fresh flowers too - cute touch. Our waitress was kind and we didn't wait too long for food. Our coffees were topped up a couple of times. Now I will say the cost of the food really doesn't match the portions and quality, in my opinion. I'm not saying it's bad, but this is definitely a place with a more pricey menu, which kind of surprised me honestly. It's not a place I'll go to often, but I could see myself coming back with friends.“

“We needed a large space for a family breakfast gathering. Amazing service, food & kid friendly. There was 22 of us. We will use this venue quarterly for our family try togethers. Can’t wait for the next one on the patio, in the spring“

“The service here is mediocre, the servers aren’t really around most of the time so it takes forever when I wait for them to grab me the bill. Also, the food takes forever to arrive so if you are in a rush, I don’t recommend eating here. Overall, the food itself is pretty good.“

“It was my mom's 70th birthday and I made a reservation a few weeks in advance for a Friday at 7:30pm. After touring the mall a bit we decided we were done and needed a Bellini. It was only 7:10 but we thought we'd try our luck for a table early or wait at the bar. The hostess assured us she could get us a table. Well the table was right next to the server station with French fries and napkins still littered on the floor. We decided to just let it go and enjoy our evening. I have to say, the Bellinis and the blackened chicken Alfredo were AMAZING! That was the saving grace as our server was over worked and had way too many tables. I asked for our cheque twice, and we had an uber coming and she still took another 15 mins bringing it. Noise was quite bad as well. I would go back for food and drink though! I did put a note on the reservation that it was my mom's 70th birthday but they never mentioned a thing which was super disappointing. Overall, they were saved by the food!“

“For the past 20 years or so, we have gone to the White Spot in PoCo to celebrate my nephew’s birthday on July 1st. Although the White Spot does not take reservations on that date, they have gone out of their way to accommodate our party (which has numbered 15 or more). The service has been great, and the food did not disappoint! Kudos to the White Spot for making a great family occasion that much better!“
