The food was really good, especially the Okonomiyaki and Mango Roll. The servers were very friendly and charming, and the service was fast. We also loved how creative and well-presented the food was. Overall, we had a great dining experience and would definitely come back!”

You get a choice of thick or thin noodles. I opted for no sesame seeds. It was very refreshing on a hot day and I enjoyed the cold veggie broth more than I expected. Good amount of ingredients like the wakame. Nicely seasoned, jammy egg. Unfortunately, the corn wasn't sweet. I went to a different Kinton location a couple weeks back, and the corn in my ramen bowl was perfectly sweet, so that was a bit of a downer to an otherwise excellent bowl.
Service is efficient and there's not a long wait for your food. Tables are quite close together and they have a mix of tables (for 2-4) and bar seating.”

The Thalapakatti chicken biriyani and Thalapakatti mutton biriyani were outstanding — rich flavor, perfectly cooked rice, and authentic taste that reminded us of a true South Indian feast. The mutton was especially tender and well-marinated. The starters were just as impressive. We are frequent customers and love the food as a rule. We have come to expect great quality meals and terrific service from The Carvery. Unfortunately today we had a slightly different experience. Our sandwiches were delicious as usual but the mushroom soup had large chunks of unblended flour (roux) in the soup. At first we thought they were chunks of potato but then realized that was not the case. The taste and texture did not make for an appetizing bowl of soup as it was very flour heavy. I called the restaurant to let them know and the lady on the phone just said okay thanks for letting us know and made to hang up. Which is fine, but no offer to replace my 2 soups or anything. A little disappointed I admit. I am posting this just so that perhaps the staff can handle this differently in the future. We will still be back, they are hands down the best sandwich shop here!”

The Dal Makhani was rich, creamy, and full of flavour, and the Garlic Naan and Lachha Paratha were fresh, soft, and went perfectly with it. The Manchurian was also excellent and very flavourful.
Overall, the food quality was outstanding and we genuinely enjoyed our meal. Definitely one of the better Indian restaurants I’ve tried in Surrey for North Indian vegetarian food. Would happily come back again and highly recommend it!”

The garlic naan is: wrap yourself up you're in heaven. Water was room temp to reduce the heat if needed but they brought a carafe which wa appreciated. Again, our server was attentive & knowledgeable about the kitchen and made great recommendations. The kitchen was on WoW mode. The food was extremely well prepared. what was left we gleefully packed to go. Is it good value? The quality ingredients and care I the kitchen says YES. This well above your average Indian Kitchen. I know there are lots of Indian restaurants in Surrey but this one will take your taste-buds places. The food; feels, smells, looks & tastes authentically amazing. Weekend brunch was decent for bar food. It's a good idea. I'll be going back for that. I thought everything was pretty pricey, but then I had to remind myself that Canadian prices are not like US prices. The liquor tax here is bonkers. So, I guess their prices are on point for the area. Fleetwood is my favorite area in Surrey. I like this place as being my local hang out that me and my chums can walk to. It's also a good first date place because it's pretty low key. I.E., not loud, it has an upbeat ambiance (especially cozy on a rainy day), and you can actually have a conversation and hear each other. Another positive is that they cater to a wide demographic. The Dal Makhani was rich, creamy, and full of flavour, and the Garlic Naan and Lachha Paratha were fresh, soft, and went perfectly with it. The Manchurian was also excellent and very flavourful.
Overall, the food quality was outstanding and we genuinely enjoyed our meal. Definitely one of the better Indian restaurants I’ve tried in Surrey for North Indian vegetarian food. Would happily come back again and highly recommend it!”
