“I recently had the pleasure of trying out The Social Tavern, and I must say, the experience was quite memorable despite a small hiccup with our takeout order. We ordered a variety of dishes to enjoy at home, but unfortunately, upon unpacking our order, we realized our pizza was missing. Given how much we were looking forward to trying their pizza, this was a bit disappointing. However, what followed truly showcased the excellent customer service at The Social Tavern. When we called to inform them about the missing pizza, the owner personally apologized and promptly delivered the pizza to our home. Not only did he deliver the pizza, but he also included a complimentary appetizer to make up for the inconvenience. When the pizza arrived, it was clear that the wait was worth it. It was one of the best pizzas I've had in Surrey – perfectly cooked with a delicious crust and generous, fresh toppings. The complimentary appetizer was a delightful bonus and further demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction. The Social Tavern turned what could have been a negative experience into a positive one through their outstanding service and exceptional food quality. We'll definitely be returning and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great meal and top-notch customer service in Surrey.“

“Sunday is prime rib dinner very good portions and 1/2'off bottles of wine. Dinner was very good and wasn't too loud in the restaurant. As it can be loud with large groups coming off the course. When we were there only a few groups off the course the rest were there just for the restaurant“

“It's good for the most part but not great. Still needs improvement. Not quite as good as the ocean beach pub on marine drive or sawbucks but overall good they have good nachos. The bartenders are OK and friendly but not as friendly as the ocean beach .sawbucks.3 dogs and beer shack. But they're getting better for the most part. Ocean Beach pub is still the best in the area

“This is and always has been a very good pub. It's got a nice stage in the corner and they bring in some great entertainment. They have trivia nights, they have bands, and on Valentine's Day they've got a magic show that will include two magicians performing close up Magic and later on in the evening stage magic. The food is great at this pub. The servers are friendly and really go above and beyond to make sure that you enjoy your stay.“

“I love visiting this place. Especially because of its design which, I think, has been converted from a residential setting to fit a full fledged restaurant and bar. I believe that’s why it gives that homely feeling.

The staff are very friendly and the best part about them is that they make you feel welcome. Each time you go, there is a warm and comfortable air of familiarity.

Out of curiosity I have tried Ebi Fries, Gyoza and Takoyaki here and found it very well done. I mostly come by to have beer and french fries since it is close to my current residence.

I am curious as to why they would name the pub after Dickens’ character, but I will ask that later. For now I will continue to frequent for drinks and hospitality.

I hope to try their Shrimp Rice in the future with Sapporo as I have already tried the Chicken Wings and found them absolutely delectable.“

“I have been there 4 times, enjoyed the spectacular customer service. Asked my husband if he wants to go to Cactus or Browns for his birthday, he said The Tap House here because of the Customer Service and great burgers, onion rings, etc. Also the game equipments are soooo fun. Our favorite one.“

“Today my friend and I stopped in for a quick cold beer, we found this place to be inviting. The members/customers were all very friendly and helpful. They have a nice little pool table, pull tabs, cheap beers, friendly staff, and a smoking area that had a nice breeze way. The place is very organized, very clean and well run. There are lots of things such as events, and draws and raffles going on here steady throughout the week and weekends in the summer. The decor is very fresh and it has a really nice upbeat feel to the place. My friend and I are definetly coming back more often.“

“I've been playing hockey at this arena for 15 years and Boomers has always been a great place to go eat before or after a game. I've always had great service from Mady and sadly now myself and my team no longer go to restaurant after game unless Mady is working as the service from others has been terrible.“

Our Sangria hit the spot for our Thanksgiving day aperitif along with so many choices of flavors it took us awhile to make up our minds. We ordered the boneless honey garlic wings, the beef dip and fries, I can say it was pretty damn good! I do prefer my bread a little more crispy on the beef dip...BUT the soft bread was great and soaked up the dip perfectly! Would of given 5 stars but fries weren't that great.“
