“Austin was a great bartender! We loved this bar by the RR tracks where freight trains would scream by. There's a nice spot out back by the tracks with a concrete slab you can rest on while you puff if you imbibe. We are shuffleboard aficionados and enjoyed the long table. The table needs some TLC, but most people wouldn't notice. Two level pool tables with good queues.“
“I was in Burlington on a rescue dog transport and since it was running late, I stopped in here for a bite. Was I ever glad that I did. Friendly staff, and wow, the food. I had the Philly cheesesteak with the garlic parmesan waffle fries and tartar sauce. Now, I know that a Philly cheesesteak purest would vigorously differ on if this was a real cheesesteak, but I'm from Canada, and we don't have those there. We don't have A LOT of stuff there, but that's a whole other kettle of fish. I was in sandwich heaven. My eyes are def bigger than my stomach, so I took half home. The waffle fries were a thing of beauty. And the tartar sauce? HOMEMADE. Chef's . Sooooo good.Last night I was on another transport and that sucker was late, so where did I go? You better believe it. The grill was down and the late night menu was valid, so I had waffle fries with tartar sauce, mozzarella sticks, and while I wasn't going to get dipping sauce, My server, Rose, remembered my lament about ranch dressing in Canada, and she put in some buttermilk ranch. Well, hallelujah and praise the Lord! That's homemade, too!While I'm not ever going to give up universal healthcare and a good social net, I'm not above schlepping my butt to Burlington when I get a craving for a good sammie and dips! “Went there with a friend. It was both our birthdays and we got a free appetizer and two free desserts. We both had the oriental chicken salad. We ordered from the 2 for $26 menu, so we got two appetizers for the price of one!I had the nachos with beef and she had the Buffalo wings. I tried the Buffalo wings and I was not impressed. The nachos are a whole meal just by themselves. The guacamole was delicious. Be prepared to take some home!The oriental chicken salad had an amazing dressing on it, sweet but not too sweet. Loved it!Had the brownie with ice cream for dessert, and my friend had the fried Cinnabon. Yummy!Too much food, but that made for a whole second meal. The service was excellent and it was quiet and clean. Loved it!!!!“
“We go there for karaoke on Saturday nights. The servers are very busy, so having them check the tables definitely takes longer - you can go up and order at the bar, though. The karaoke host is amazing, the atmosphere is fantastic and I recommend the hot wings for sure.“
“I’ve never in my life been given such a generous portion of side tots. I am not exaggerating when I say my burger came with a mountain of tots. Potato heaven. Five golden crispy stars.Update: I accidentally left my leftover tots in their to go container on the table, and now I’m crying in despair knowing it’s too late to go back and get them.“
“It was hard to tell if it was open when we drove by. We took a chance and parked, and they were - hooray! It's not a huge place but very clean and the staff was very attentive. I got the briscut sandwich, and my hubby got the nameless porl sandwich. Both were really delicious, as were our sides (his was potato salad and mine was some of the best fries I've had in a long time!).We definitely plan on coming back the next time we're in the area!! 1“
