“I stopped by this McDonald’s after a long day of work, and overall it was a good place to relax, grab a quick meal, and unwind for a bit. The location is very convenient and easy to access, especially with the drive-thru available for people on the go. It’s clearly a busy branch, likely because there’s a high school nearby, so you can expect a lively atmosphere throughout the day.
One thing I really appreciated was the large parking area around the establishment. Finding parking was easy and stress-free, which is always a plus in busy locations like this. There’s also a convenience store nearby at the gas station, making it a practical stop if you need snacks, drinks, or other essentials while traveling or commuting.
The restaurant itself has a good setup and the overall experience was positive. The staff were working hard despite the steady flow of customers, and service was still fairly smooth considering how busy the place gets. The location is great for students, workers, travelers, and anyone looking for a quick and convenient stop.
The only downside during my visit was the washroom, which unfortunately needed more attention and cleaning at the time. It looked like it could use some TLC and more regular maintenance, especially with the high volume of customers coming in daily. Hopefully management can improve this aspect because the rest of the experience was quite good.
Overall, this is still a solid McDonald’s location with a convenient drive-thru, spacious parking, and a very accessible spot near other useful businesses. A good place to stop for a quick meal, coffee, or short break during a busy day.“

Been running around to get the Mario toys for my Mario fan of a son and Elina was able to give me the the display one that she no longer had got the happy meal. My son is over the moon. “I am a regular customer of McDonald's and have been going to this restaurant for several years now. I do not know what has happened in the last 6 months, but the service and quality have improved 100%. This is the best running McDonald's that consistently provides hot fresh food and fast friendly service in the lower mainland right now. Today I ordered a sausage egg McMuffin meal through the drive-thru. I ordered it on the app and I told them my code at the menu board, she politely accepted this and I proceeded through the lineup without delay to the cashier window. There were two cars in front of me when I got there and they moved through within 15 seconds and by the time I got to the delivery window, my bag was hanging out and ready for me to pick up. Super fast service, and friendly too, both of the employees at the windows waved and were polite and positive. My sausage egg McMuffin was hot, the muffin was toasted perfectly, and the egg was not overcooked, everything was centered on the sandwich, it was perfect. My hash brown was hot and fresh and I actually had to slow down because it was too hot. I had a diet Coke with it because I'm addicted to the stuff and it was calibrated perfectly. Whoever the manager is currently, is doing an outstanding job here. If you have been here in the past, and stopped going here because of poor quality or service, I suggest you try them again. They have improved drastically. Great job MacDonald's!“

“There’s an Asian gentlemen staff member at this McDonald’s who is extremely friendly and welcoming. He’s constantly cleaning and keeping the restaurant very tidy. Highly recommend bringing kids here — even the washrooms are very clean.“

“I recently visited the McDonald’s in Cloverdale and overall had a very good experience. The restaurant is easy to access and has a convenient location & The service felt organized, and my order was prepared without much waiting time. I also appreciated that the staff maintained a positive attitude, which really adds to the overall customer experience.

The food was served fresh and exactly as expected from McDonald’s—consistent taste, good portion size, and properly packed. The fries were hot and crispy, and the burger was well assembled without being messy. Everything tasted standard and satisfying, which is exactly what you look for in a fast-food visit.

The seating area was generally clean and comfortable. Tables were being cleared regularly, and the overall hygiene level seemed well maintained. The atmosphere was casual and family-friendly, making it suitable for both quick solo visits and small group meals. The drive-thru (if used) also appeared to be moving at a decent pace.

One thing I would especially highlight is the staff behavior—they were calm, respectful, and attentive even during rush hours, which made the experience feel smoother. Small gestures like confirming orders properly and serving with a smile really stood out.

“Yesterday night a couple of really rude self entitled elders were giving hell to the poor employee there because they couldn't grab their door dash pick-up, despite showing up 45 minutes after closing time ( the restaurant close an hour before the Walmart, CLEARLY indicated )Despite being filmed by those morons the ladies cleaning up kept their cool and stayed polite with them.Everytime I go there food is all right and so is service, keep up good work guys!“

“There was this really cute girl working at the Fleetwood McDonald’s whose name tag said “Avneet Kaur” (hopefully I got the name right). I got pulled ahead because my order wasn’t ready, and she came outside to bring it to me. What stood out wasn’t just that she brought the order out, but she was genuinely humble throughout the interaction.
I’m a regular at this location, and I’ve been pulled ahead plenty of times before. Usually it’s just a quick “here’s your order, have a nice day,” which is completely fine. But she actually took the time to ask me to double-check everything, made sure I had what I needed, and even went back inside to grab extra ketchup and other things I requested without making it feel like a hassle.
It’s rare to come across someone who is that friendly, patient, and welcoming over such a simple interaction. She had a really positive attitude and honestly made my visit a lot better than expected. Employees like her are a big reason people keep coming back. Great service and a great experience overall.“

“I often pass by this McDonald’s branch whenever I do my groceries, and I decided to stop by recently. The branch itself is decent, and the location is convenient right beside Walmart at Guildford Town Centre. It’s a good spot to dine in either before or after shopping, or to grab something for takeout. A special thanks to Stephanie, the supervisor who organized everything so smoothly. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the entire process. From planning to execution, she made sure every single detail was taken care of.

She even managed the decorations beautifully and ensured everything was perfectly arranged.

Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure the kids had an amazing time. She handled everything calmly and professionally, which allowed us to relax and truly enjoy the celebration.

The kids had a fantastic time, especially in the play area — they didn’t want to leave! 😊

“The only store until now put napkins in Happy Meals boxes for my children. Thank you. It is simple but I didn't have that after many orders from other locations. Washrooms were out of order both times we visited. This store is quite small. There is no soft drink machine in sight.“
