“I want to recognize the amazing team at the McDonald’s inside Walmart at 2150 Hawkins St in Port Coquitlam. The ladies working there provide truly outstanding customer service to everyone who walks in. They are always patient, friendly, and welcoming, no matter how busy it gets.

What really stands out is how they go above and beyond by even bringing food directly to customers’ tables, which makes the experience feel extra personal and caring. The food and drinks are always fresh, consistent, and prepared with care.

“My kids and I actually drove out of our way to come to this specific McDonald’s location because of the indoor PlayPlace(as many has been removed), and it was 100% worth the extra trip! It’s such a savior for parents when you need the kids to burn off some energy while you relax for a bit.

The experience here was top-notch from start to finish:

* Unbeatable Service: After the kids finished playing and having lunch, they decided they wanted ice cream. I went back up to order three ice creams plus some additional takeout for a friend. My hands were completely full, and the young man working behind the counter kindly offered to bring the ice creams right over to our table for us. That kind of proactive hospitality is rare at fast-food spots, and it genuinely made my day!

* Cleanliness & Maintenance: You can tell the management and staff take real pride in this location. I constantly saw staff members out on the floor clearing tables, taking care of the garbage, and keeping the entire dining area spotless.

* Parking & Facilities: Plenty of great parking right in front of the restaurant, and the PlayPlace itself was well-maintained and clean.

Local Guide Tip: The only minor thing to keep in mind is that traffic getting out of the surrounding Costco lot can sometimes be a bit tricky and congested depending on the time of day. Just budget a couple extra minutes for standard Costco traffic!
