Just taking the dog out for a bathroom break and person my age or older comes out with my coffee so I just say “just leave it on the hood”. Proceed to place it on the roof. “No, that’s the roof”. Then proceeds to try to open my car door. “No, that’s the door.” “Then proceeds to try to place it on my windshield? “No, that’s the hood” (as I gesture). Wut… 🤷‍♂ 2026 vs 90s/2000s/early 2010s employees.

“I recently got a job around the area and have been coming to this place for lunch. I’m amazed by the consistency of their food quality. Always fresh! And I agreed that this place gives you the old vibes when they have to pour the drinks in front of you. And so many good deals on the app ! Also in the very beginning I was upset that there’s no Starbucks around until I realized their large coffee is less than $2, literally can’t complain!“

“Compared to all the others McDonald’s I would like to applaud the staff they are always nice and never get my order wrong despite being super busy during lunch rush they also are fairly quick. So shout out to all the hard working people behind the counter.“

“I wanted to say I have experienced excellent customer service the past 2 times I visited this establishment. A worker named liv goes above and beyond. The first time, she took the time to help me figure out parking using the app, which I really appreciated. On another visit, I watched her assist an elderly woman who didn’t speak much English. She was incredibly patient, and respectful, and she put a smile on the woman’s face.
It’s rare to see someone show that level of genuine care for customers. The food was also excellent and came fast. Thank you I will be back for sure!“

“Incredibly busy today after the soccer game finishes! No place to sit inside and long line up to order. However, will have to give them koodos for getting the order out so quickly!! I was anticipating long wait for food, but it's the regular macDonald fast food speed! Definitely no complaints.“

“The food was way more expensive here than some of the other locations but the happy meal was good and the service was a little slow, the location was easy to find in the mall. The atmosphere was nothing because it was just a little inside of them all. And there was about a six minute wait time just for our happy meal very disappointing. and we are honest the wait time change my review like a lot because I can't believe I
had to wait six minutes for a happy meal.“

“I had a great experience at this McD location. The food was fresh and very tasty. I needed some customization with my chicken burger, and the manager, Simran, helped me out—she was exceptionally professional. The floor was spotless, which made the place feel very clean and well maintained.

The order taker was polite, and the service was fast. I also noticed the crew promptly changing the garbage bin when it became full, which shows they really care about cleanliness. Everyone on the team was smiling and welcoming.

Overall, it was a wonderful visit. 5/5 – Highly recommended!“

“I went here tonight for the Big Mac special and my app wasn’t working properly and Neilson was the server and she dealt with it so well. The burger was made perfect and the fries were piping hot. Great service tonight😊“

“I often attend this restaurant on a Saturday or Sunday morning for breakfast. The one thing I will say about this location is the staff are incredible. I often order the same thing every time because the food here is exactly what I am looking for. The Mighty McMuffin is next level. I have a bit of a walk so I ask the staff to make me a fresh hashbrown. They always do it without question. So when I get home I have great tasting McMuffin and amazing hashbrowns. I have noticed that no matter how busy it is, the staff here are friendly and professional. While I do not like Granville Street, I will always attend this restaurant due to the great food and incredible staff. Great service.
Please note I saw some of the reviews commenting about the smell. When I attended I did not have negative smell. The restaurant is clean behind the counter and the staff are amazing. They also have security present when ever I have attended. Completely safe and amazingly prepared food.“

“Just wanted to say that the guy taking the drive through order spoke very clearly, talked at a normal pace and annunciated very well. He was also very polite. Could here him clearly through the intercom and he properly acknowledged me at the window(many workers just hand you the machine without a word) Same with the girl at the last window, both were excellent and not the norm in fast food these days.
At 1pm on a Saturday so hopefully these workers get some kudos.

Late night mobile orders are accepted 24 hours and the products are served with care. Heads up that you have to pick up through a little pickup window because all of the doors will be locked.“

I ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich and they gave me the entire wrong meal :(. This is such a disappointment, especially since you didn’t even give me a receipt.“

“The service is usually good, cashiers might get confused from time to time but it never causes delays. The food is really good but sometimes feels pricey. The restaurant itself is a little dirty even though its being cleaning very often.

Update with a 🌟 downgrade: Disappointed. Ordered breakfast including tea with honey via UberEats. My request is ignored. Now I have to drink it unsweetened 😞 if I knew they will forget to put honey in would have went for sugar at least. Guys please read order details while preparing it.“

“It's a McDonald's, pretty cookie cutter experience like other locations. Only real critique is the drive-thru wait times. It's gotten slightly better over the last year, but overall if it's busy, then expect to wait 10-20 minutes at the drive-thru. Parking options are decent for dine in, but if the drive-thru is packed, getting in or out is quite the process.“
