Annabelle’s gets pretty busy despite being a small shop, they have outside seating they set up which seems very lively. The service has been friendly every time I’ve been and they got options for people with dietary restrictions which is great.“

“I tried the matcha with homemade strawberry sauce and it is so good. The matcha is super smooth and not bitter, and you can tell the strawberry sauce is made fresh, as she explained. It’s the perfect amount of sweet and well balanced.

“Stumbled in last Saturday afternoon after a long morning walking the city, and TV Dinner Market & Cafe was exactly the kind of unpretentious spot I'd been hoping to find. The grilled cheese they had on the menu looked simple on paper but came out perfectly golden with this sharp cheddar that actually had some character to it. Staff were genuinely warm without being performative about it, the kind of easy friendliness you don't always get in a trendy neighborhood cafe. I travel constantly and places like this - relaxed, consistent, real - are the ones I actually remember and come back to.“

“the drinks here are all so delicious, all feel very high quality. worth trying anything and everything! especially compared to another cafes on main street, this cafe is extremely study/work friendly. if you come during non-peak hours, it's easy to get a seat. there's a variety of seating options, all of which are very comfortable and adequately spacious. it's very cozy and not too loud, plus there are tons of outlets and free wifi.“

Working granville street alone at night is insane by itself but she is so kind and helpful to her customers. 100/10 service she was so kind and helpful that I came back twice. “Great atmosphere, great coffee, great service. The cafe itself has the rustic look I like. My wife and I ordered a matcha latte and Cortado (dark roast). Flavours were deep and strong with no acidity. The latte art was poured beautifully. Will come back for sure.“

“Cafe located in the middle of downtown, which made it very convenient for grabbing a coffee meeting during work hours. They also have an online system in place so you can order ahead during busy times. Been there a few times and overall a solid place if a little pricy (pastry can be a hit or miss though). This time I tried their new menu LOX Supreme ($16) and Ice Salted Hojicha Latte ($6.85).

Very generous amount of smoked salmon, which contrasted nicely with the crispy lettuce and creamy dressing. Portion was very filling. One minor feedback is for me they put way too much dressing. The hojicha was unfortunately a miss - very watered down and I could not taste the sea salt at all. Strange since I know they use Paragon’s tea powder. Overall, I would recommend to get their coffee instead.“

“My favourite coffee shop in Vancouver! I've been a regular at all of their locations for over four years and recommend them to everyone. The quality is always consistent, and the staff are some of the friendliest around.

My only complaint is the Gastown location in the summer. It gets incredibly hot inside because there's no AC, which makes it hard to stay and enjoy the space. The patio is small and usually full, so I end up visiting less often than I'd like.

I love this place and really hope they'll consider improving the indoor temperature—it would make a huge difference.“

“Great coffee and even better service. The barista noticed I was into different beans and started giving me recommendations. I’d ordered an Americano, but he brought over a pour-over sample he’d made himself and it was fantastic. I wanted to buy the beans but they were out, so he actually called another shop to track them down for me. Didn’t try the food, but the pastries coming out to other tables looked amazing. Really personable, and the coffee is excellent.
