“Went for a late night poutine and beef wrap after a concert and I could not have been happier. Super friendly and fast service. Generous portion and the beef wrap was very tender and full of veggies and flavors. I would definitely return if I'm in the area. One bonus, I forgot to buy a can of soda when ordering so when the food was ready I tried to buy a drink but the guy just comped it for me. What a guy! He even followed up with a food check to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Another note, the pic I took of the wrap doesn't do it justice. One more bite in and it would have showcased the plentiful veggies and sauce inside. Very good.“

As well, the personal touch and friendly vibe of the chef and team made my whole trip downtown feel worth it. I will build a trip to Mr. Shawarma into my downtown trips from now on!“

“Unexpected surprise!! The crispy chicken sandwich I ordered was soo delicious! I usually have no expectations with fast food, so I got very impressed with what l got. The service was also really good, and when we came back for more sandwiches the server still remembered our names! So lovely. I also enjoyed the milkshake. “great experience with pleasant staff at this location. food is hot, fresh and correct. they were very busy however I didn't need to wait long. price is a bit high for a chain restaurant but they give enough fries, have free peanuts and the meat is not thin as paper so I was actually full. surprsing clean dining area, bathrooms, and kitchen area during my visit which I have not seen in my recent visits to many fast food restaurants. enjoyed a yummy quick bite. love the burgers customizable with free cheese and bacon as toppings“

“I've been going to this place for awhile now. The price is decent and the staff is always friendly. I wouldn't say the best best pizza or donair that I've ever had, but it's always consistent, fresh and the veggies and sauces options are great. With businesses disappearing, I'm always happy to see this place still there. I find the woman that is usually there is like a ray of sunshine and she's quick. Nice size donairs that will fill you up at a decent price.“

“Have eaten at the location at the Vancouver airport a few years ago. Tried the location at Northlands in Calgary today. Food quality is excellent. The price is the disappointment. Fifteen dollars for the bacon & cheese burger 🍔 is high although good quality. I can make one just as good at home. Staff was friendly although with the fans etc very hard to hear.“

“This review is purely on the food because for a takeout place like this, I personally do not mind if the CX service is blunt and cold. As long as the food is hot and ready, which it was. The wraps that we ordered were very decent. The beef wraps had good flavour and texture. It had less sauce than what I'd prefer rendering it a touch dry, but that also meant the wrap doesn't become a wet soggy mess.
Ordered the falafel platter and the falafels were made to order. Delicious and scrumptious.

This time I had the big special mini wrap original chicken. Wow! It tasted great. I also liked the biscuit and cajun fries.

We will def return (at least for take-away) in the next 4 weeks. At peak times expect a wait to order at the counter, a wait to be seated and a wait for your food because the place is small and popular.“
