“I was working nearby and needed to go for lunch. This establishment was close and what drove me in was the fact that they had Donairs and Coffee!

I needed coffee really bad to charge up a little before going to work. They were out of Falafel so I ordered a Chicken Donair Wrap and I was very happy with the taste, texture and portion size.

This is a family owned establishment and most of the family members work here. What I loved was the fact that they have a dish called Manto, it originates from Afghanistan. In Pakistan, it is called Mamtu.

Rest, including Donairs, they have about thirty or so dishes that you can savour, including a Kabuli Pulao.

“great experience with pleasant staff at this location. food is hot, fresh and correct. they were very busy however I didn't need to wait long. price is a bit high for a chain restaurant but they give enough fries, have free peanuts and the meat is not thin as paper so I was actually full. surprsing clean dining area, bathrooms, and kitchen area during my visit which I have not seen in my recent visits to many fast food restaurants. enjoyed a yummy quick bite. love the burgers customizable with free cheese and bacon as toppings“

I was in the area and decided to have lunch with my Dad. He’s never had a Smash burger ever in his life and this was a good day to have one. I personally have had a few smash burgers before at other restaurants, however I too will be in the same boat as my dad eating them here, at A&W.

We got the Double Smash Combos. It was hot, juicy, and delicious. My Dad appreciates the paper bag when holding the burger cause it keeps his hands cleaner LOL 😂. The fries were crispy and the coffee is great. We had a fun time here. We were glad we tried the limited edition smash burgers and got the Rooty keychains. We would definitely come back again. Great location 👍.

“I've been ordering from here for the past couple years. Pizza's great and affordably priced. Staff are easy to communicate with and they have their own stamp card for rewards. There is a certain range in distance they deliver from, but we make it work. Thanks Hi-5!“

“I love the staff here. They truly go above and beyond. The chicken is always fresh and piping hot. You can just ask for whichever is fresher and if there's a new batch frying, they'll let you know to wait a few min for the freshest fried chicken. The location itself is also nice and calm with floor to ceiling windows.

There's a bathroom in the Tim Hortons that shares the space but I do wish the hand sanitizer was refilled more often.“

“Have eaten at the location at the Vancouver airport a few years ago. Tried the location at Northlands in Calgary today. Food quality is excellent. The price is the disappointment. Fifteen dollars for the bacon & cheese burger 🍔 is high although good quality. I can make one just as good at home. Staff was friendly although with the fans etc very hard to hear.“

“Totally random find. I hadn't even heard of Firehouse Subs until I saw a commercial a couple of weeks ago for their steak & cheese sub which looked so much better than its competitors that it seemed TGTBT. Obviously, only one way to find out.

Long story short...
My 20 minute drive to conduct this experiment turned out to be totally worthwhile. Hard to explain why, but it tastes more like home cooking than a commercially made sub. All the ingredients were fresh, plus the steak was savoury and delicious.
If you like sub sandwiches, hard to imagine you won't be pleased with this establishment's offerings.“

“I am not a smash burger person but I liked this one. I would definitely eat this burger again but there are things that I didn't like. It took almost 30 minutes to get the burger after we sat to our table and it wasn't crowded. As everyone mentions, the smoke, the smell and the vents are also no-no. I think it's best to order the burger 10-15 minutes before getting there and pick it up to eat somewhere else.“

“I believe I’ve tried the majority of burgers in Vancouver over the past year, in a never ending quest to find the perfect balance of juiciness and flavour, with a gluten free bun that doesn’t disintegrate when you look at it.
I wasn’t expecting much for here but I was absolutely gobsmacked at how ridiculously wonderful the smash burger was.
I ordered a regular smash burger, a jalapeño, and a triple for my daughter wife and myself. We all ate in silence broken by periodic sounds of satisfaction.
Very tasty, perfectly salted, a great sear on the meat, the perfect amount of garnish and sauce and the fries were crunchy and seasoned perfectly.

This is rocketed to the top of my Uber Eats favourite list. Great job!“
