Seating is good but again, not super spacious, expect busy lunch and breakfast times to be busy.

“We got some pancakes from their food truck and there was a small issue with their pancake machine, but we had to catch the shuttle for Grouse mountain and had to leave. The owner said that he would run and get us the pancakes to the bus, but, the bus had to leave. Then we were on our way and crossed the bridge when we saw him in his truck driving next to us with the pancakes. He followed our bus and delivered the pancakes when the bus stopped! This is definitely the most incredible service and one of our highlights of the year! What an awesome amazing person who deserves all the best! Thank you soo much, you really made us que our kids happy:)“

“I had a very disappointing experience here. I had a “WE SPEND” voucher that clearly listed this store and its address. Before leaving, I double-checked to make sure everything was correct. While I was waiting in line, the staff started talking to me and asked me to choose an ice cream flavor, so I said coconut and pistachio. By the time I reached the counter, they had already scooped one for me. Then they told me they received a call yesterday saying they would no longer accept the voucher. I was left with no choice but to pay, and it felt like I was being forced into a purchase rather than being supported in enjoying a local business. On top of that, this gelato isn’t even half as good as Passione Gelato—which is cheaper too. Completely frustrating and disappointing.“

“Monica provided wonderful customer service. I arrived just after closing and happened to catch her before she left, and she was incredibly kind and got out of her car to ask what I needed. She kindly let me quickly come in to grab a premade cake. I had come all the way from Abbotsford, so I really appreciated the help. I ended up getting two cakes instead of one, both the green tea and ube cakes were really good. The flavours were accurate and potent to taste. The ube in particular was one of the best I’ve had as a Filipino. Thank you for the great experience!“

“The most lovely staff and amazing gelato! It was both mine and the employee’s birthday which was a fun coincidence. Gelato was so creamy and flavourful and the scoops are really generous! My friend is a cherry-chocolate ice cream connoisseur and she said this was the best she’s ever had.“

“An amazing little desert spot. Great service and the deserts were delicious. We had the tiramisu, coconut cake and pineapple cheesecake. All were great but if I had to pick one, it would be the tiramisu. Very good earl grey tea served in stoneware. Also, the warm water is a nice touch to go with cold desert on a chilly November day.“

“What a hidden gem in the neighbourhood! The underground parking with elevator access makes it so easy to visit with kids. I highly recommend for families.
The shop itself is cozy and welcoming with an incredible selection of ice cream flavours for both kids and adults. Every single flavour we tried was amazing and it was seriously hard to choose.
A special mention to Hazel at the cashier who was absolutely lovely and patient, especially with my children as they took their time deciding. That kind of genuine and attentive service makes all the difference and is the reason we will definitely be coming back.
One small thing, there are no customer washrooms in the store, but the elevator right in front takes you to the theatre upstairs where you can use theirs. Not a dealbreaker at all.
If you are in the area do yourself a favour and stop by. The ice cream and the service are both worth it. 5 stars easily.“

“Some places serve great desserts, and some places have a nice atmosphere—Azteca Cafe & Gelato has both. The gelato was rich and delicious, the cheesecakes were fresh and beautifully made, and the coffee was excellent. What really stood out, though, was how genuinely friendly and welcoming the staff were. The cozy atmosphere made us want to stay longer and enjoy the moment. A lovely spot for a relaxing treat, whether you're meeting friends or just taking a break for yourself. We’ll definitely be back!“

“It was just random…stuck in traffic and turned my head and was in front of Gems Chocolates! I’ve had delicious chocolate in Switzerland. I’ve tried all types of chocolate from all over the world. The quality of Gems Chocolates is definitely world class and outstanding!!!! Go!“

“We found this cafe in the late afternoon of a Saturday. We needed an energy boost after walking around Granville Island. We go to Granville Island quite often, but we have never been to this side and have never noticed this cafe.

We ordered a coffee, a cookie and a tart. Everything tasted great, but they were priced towards the higher range.

The interior design looked good, too. However, towards the closing hours, the cafe might not look its best in terms of tidiness. There was a lady having a video cal behind me, and she was quite loud. She also played her hair at the same time, so much so that her hands touched my head a few times, which was quite annoying. Not the fault of the cafe, though. Perhaps if the chair was not placed so close to me, it could have helped.

In a higher end cafe like this, I did not expect people being loud like that. However, I am not a regular to cafes, so I do not have an idea of how people normally behave.“

“Underrated dessert shop. They sell the cheapest desserts from ice cream, French toast, hot desserts from china and shaved ice. The store itself isn't too big or too small. But when you order you have to go up to the counter and the wait is kind of long beacuse there's only one person making and serving it.“
