“If you’re not sure what to order, I highly recommend the chocolate hazelnut with hazelnut cream. It was rich, smooth, and well balanced without being overly sweet. The hazelnut flavour came through nicely, and the cream on top added a great texture that made the drink feel a bit more indulgent.
Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made, and the overall experience felt a step above your typical drink spot.
Definitely a place I would come back to, especially for the chocolate hazelnut with hazelnut cream.“

“A family-owned, hole-in-the-wall spot that’s clearly been around for years, in the best way.
You can order either at the front cashier or via the self-serve touch screens on the side, which makes things easy and efficient.
Prices are refreshingly affordable (allowing people to enjoy such a lovely treat without feeling guilty), especially in 2026, and the drinks are simple, done well in a homemade way… perfect for satisfying a bubble tea craving.
The strawberry mango with pearls and the mango sago were both solid and enjoyable. A dependable neighbourhood go-to.“

“The lychee Jade tea that's on the top of their menu was such a cool and different item with delicious pieces that come thru the straw. With the useful seal it's even easy to take home for next morning. Everything is kept pretty simple, elegant and beautiful here too. There was a really nice easy to order process and it still felt like the people working there were so caring and thoughtful🌹“

Great service and independently owned. I love getting treats here!“

“Should've listened to my homie and gotten my passport photos done here to begin with! Went to London Drugs initially because it was closer and was said to be super cheap (about the same), but the photo quality there was dull and lighting really flat. Came here to redo them and 1000% times better, sharper photos and more flattering lighting. He was also really nice and patient with me going through the options. Attached my two photos so you can see! (One in the bag is from here)“

“A family-run bubble tea shop near the downtown east side which is perfect for us that work nearby with limited options. I highly recommend the jollypong shake and the matcha lattes. Also, their pearls are perfectly cooked with a nice chewy texture. I’m slowly working on trying everything on the menu haha 😂“

“Lovely place. Nice decor. Good service. Lots of items on the menu to choose from for drinks and bingsu.
We got a large Mango bingsu. Large is a good portion. We shared it amongst 3 people and we were not left wanting. Ice is fluffy, mango was naturally sweet. In the middle there were some corn flakes which was an unexpected surprise. Ice cream on top was yummy and not overly rich.
We also wanted to try the strawberry tanghulu but sadly they were sold out.“

“We stopped in for coffee and a snack and left delighted with our experience at Ruka Coffee. The butter chicken wrap was so flavorful and heated to perfection.. I didn't get a picture because it was devoured so quickly! I had a cold brew with sweet cream which was delicious and my husband really liked the espresso. I wish we had a Ruka Coffee in Philadelphia but at the same time, it would be so dangerous because I'd get a butter chicken wrap so often 😂“
“This is a consistent bubble tea shop — great quality and fair prices every single visit. The Osmanthus tea here is outstanding, fragrant and balanced. But the most impressive thing of all? The cups — beautifully printed with intricate floral patterns so elegant they actually make each drink feel even more specia. I do not want to throw it away.“
“Love their Whole Coconut 3.0 drink! It’s my go-to order and stands out from other bubble tea spots because it uses real coconut juice, fresh coconut meat, and coconut jelly. The flavor is refreshing, natural, and not overly sweet. Definitely worth a visit.“

“Talk about comfort food! This cozy spot is run by an amazing couple who hand-make everything from scratch with so much love. They make you feel like family the moment you walk in and will happily tweak the food to your liking. The South Indian lunch is as authentic as it gets, and their Bombay sandwich is an absolute bomb—tastes exactly like the streets of Mumbai.“

“Had the Pho Satay. Pretty on point. Generous amount of noodles that were cooked al dente. Been to a few pho restaurants where the noodles just break up apart, but not here. Would I have liked more rare beef? Perhaps. Maybe a little bit more basil...I only say this because it is at the $21 total price not including tip. The broth is phenomenal - the peanut spice mixture into the beef broth is top tier! The balance is just perfect. The flavour alone would probably make you think twice about going to a Japanese ramen spot and I'm a die hard ramen fan.
Service is excellent. I should probably add that it's refreshing to know that there is a restaurant that doesn't serve tap water. This place actually has CLEAN PURIFIED WATER. It makes a big difference for me anyways.
Chill vibes and cool atmosphere. Nothing to complain.“
“So many Boba Tea🧋 options in Richmond, even a new one in the same plaza where Macu Tea used to be. However since friend was just passing through, paying for the drink and the driver he insisted go to Macu. He was unhappy when I mentioned the Robson location shut down because of rental cost as well, it's ok we just took a little detour making it our afternoon treat.
I agree with him they did have a line outside every shop no matter time we had visited in the past, how is it they not enough business and location at Union Square Shopping Centre was flagship their first North American store. There was once because he is loyal customer I had to wait fifteen minutes for him.
Macu’s claim to fame was their use of fresh fruit teas made with seasonal fruits and high-quality tea leaves. It’s best known for its mango offerings, including a layered drink called the King of Mango Smoothie, which is a mango slush with fruit chunks, green tea jelly, and coconut milk which he really had a craving for.
If not mistaken this only location that has not yet shut down in Vancouver 😢
Delicious and yummy and staff friendly“

“I tried the Ice Cream Matcha Latte with less sweet and less ice. It tasted like a milky matcha drink and is refreshing on a hot day. Good balance of matcha and milk/ice cream. The matcha wasn’t bitter or grassy. I found less sweet to be right for me. My mom found ‘less sweet’ a little too sweet for her due to the ice cream. So, some seniors might be able to do no sweet if there is ice cream in the drink. I can’t wait to try other drinks!“

“The UberEats order pick up was quick and smooth. The peach and lychee slush drinks were ordered with a special note that they be made with 30% sugar. I was not sure if they would accommodate this because other bubble tea places have denied sugar modifications for slushy drinks and smoothies. The gentleman working there immediately gave me the drinks upon seeing me and explained he made them less sweet by only adding a certain type of syrup and no other added sugar. Not quite 30% but definitely less sweet. I appreciated this!“

“Could you onboard Hinbor for us?
I used to live at UBC and do group orders on the app every week with friends.
Also, been earning points in other locations on its Kiosk/App too, pretty convenient and rewarding“
“I ordered a hot/warm drink today, and I’m very picky about the temperature, so I was a bit worried about it. But the female staff member who helped me today was so kind — she was the only one who actually handed me the drink and asked me to check if the temperature was what I wanted. 🥲
I didn’t want to cause her any trouble, and I really appreciate that she asked. It made me feel cared for! I know it’s just a drink, but no bubble tea shop has ever treated me that warmly before, so thank you.
Sorry I didn’t get your name!
Plus, the drink she made was delicious. I’m Taiwanese, so yes… I’m picky about these things haha.“
“My favourite bubble tea place!
Their teas are flavourful and fresh. What’s unique about them is that they offer lactose free milk for their milk teas as well as a range of toppings. Their pearls are always fresh and their oolong and jasmine tea jellies are delicious too - I can’t find them anywhere else! Their staff are always nice.“

“My husband and I stumbled upon Bubble World Tea House last Saturday after a morning of wandering around Vancouver, and we were so glad we did. The taro milk tea was absolutely delicious, thick and creamy without being overly sweet. The staff were friendly and patient with us since we had never ordered boba before and had no idea what we were doing. We will definitely be stopping in again on our next visit to the city.“

“Loooove their matcha latte and coconut matcha. It’s still hard to find a good matcha latte in Vancouver, so I’m really impressed that they use ceremonial-grade matcha at such an affordable price. The only downside is that they don’t offer decaf coffee beans, so I can’t really try a variety of their coffee menu items in the afternoon. Anyway, thank you so much for the great quality drinks 🙏“

“I love this branch of CoCo, as the employees are efficient, polite, and very consistent with drink quality!😊 This location is also very conveniently placed on Kingsway, close to the R4 bus stops and the various other food/drink spots on this street.
The inside of this CoCo branch is very welcoming and almost always remarkably clean. There is high stool seating available at the windows but also two normal-level tables for people to talk and sit at. Menus and posters advertising deals/new specials are displayed along the walls, which is super helpful if you're unsure what to get! Paper towels are also free for people to get if needed, which is such a thoughtful addition to the space.
I really enjoy the different ways you can order at this branch. There's a self-serve tablet if you'd like to order online and pay via card, you can go up to the counter and verbally order, or you can order ahead of time via the CoCo mobile app and collect points to redeem free drinks in the future (my personal favourite). If you sign up via the app, you can also redeem a free drink for your birthday too⭐
My favourite drinks so far are the Fresh Strawberry Milk Tea (with Pearls as an additional topping) and the Brown Sugar Pearl Latte. The Fresh Strawberry Milk Tea comes with these delicious strawberry bits, and it's the perfect amount of sweet when set to 70% sugar for me.
Thank you to the staff for being so great with what you do! I'll continue coming back to CoCo for great drinks!“

“The Alley 鹿角巷 used to be EVERYWHERE in Metro Vancouver during the peak bubble tea era, and now the Downtown Vancouver location is the last one standing. 👀🧋
Although bubble tea trends have shifted over time, this place still brings a sense of nostalgia and comfort whenever we visit downtown.
The location is very convenient, just a few minutes’ walk from the Scotiabank Theatre Vancouver on Burrard Street. It’s a great spot to grab a drink before or after a movie, especially since they stay open until 11 PM.
Our go-to order is ALWAYS the Brown Sugar Deerioca series 🤎. The pearls are chewy, the brown sugar flavour is rich, and the large size is definitely worth it if you’re walking around downtown all day. 😂
If you’re visiting for the first time, I recommend starting with these options:
✨Royal No.9 Milk Tea
✨Brown Sugar Deerioca
We also liked the contemporary decor inside. It feels modern and cozy, making it a nice place to take a quick break from the busy downtown area.

“This was my first experience with Big Way My granddaughter took me there. She’s only six years old, but she loves it there. We had a wonderful time together and the food was delicious. I have to say the organization part of it is a little unsettling at first, but we got served ,we got through ,we got seated and it all worked out. Thank you so much for a really neat experience in eating.“

“Local convenient boba shop right in downtown Vancouver downtown. Sweetness level is less than in the States which I like. 100% sugar level like 50-70% in Seattle. The green tea mill tea is not flavorful as other locations, not sure why..staff is friendly.“
