Macu Tea was excellent! I felt like a cold drink and walked into this very small store—what a delightful surprise it was. The mango smoothie and the brown sugar bubble tea were both very delicious. The sweetness was just perfect, and I loved the big pieces of mango. It was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful!
I was a bit bummed that I missed the famous mango option since the summer season was over, but the strawberry option was just as delicious! It was fresh, sweet, and perfectly satisfying. Definitely coming back during the summer to try the mango next time!
This is a take out only tea place. Had the signature milk tea with trio toppings and the strawberry smoothie, and both were really good. You can’t adjust the sweetness for the smoothie though.
The store is a little bit small, with people sometimes having to line up on the sidewalk.

MACU Tea - Kerrisdale serves good drinks, including the King of Mango and bobo mango smoothies. The location has free street parking and good service. It is less crowded than the Richmond location and offers a nice area to wait with benches and free samples, like the passion fruit Li-Li series.
