“My husband and I love near by. We visited after dinner for dessert. The owner created us warm and gave us free samples.

The bubble waffle was delicious and we both loved the pandam bubble tea.

Kabayan Cafe Filipino • $$

“had an amazing experience at Kabayan Cafe! The atmosphere is super cozy and Instagrammable — perfect for hanging out with friends or just relaxing with a good drink.

Their bubble tea is the best in New Westminster — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly sweet! I also tried their croffles and kakanin, and wow, what a treat! The Filipino desserts reminded me of home, especially the halo-halo, which was so refreshing.

They now serve hot steamed buns (Siopao) and shaken teas, which are must-tries! You can really taste the love in their food and drinks. 💕

The staff are friendly, warm, and always greet you with a smile. Whether you're Filipino or not, Kabayan Cafe makes everyone feel welcome.

Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area! 🙌“

“Hands down one of my fave spots in New West. Their 1L drink deal is the best—super worth it, especially if you love bubble tea as much as I do lol. Even though the shop’s pretty small and it gets busy, the staff are always on it and keep things moving. Tons of drink options too, so there’s always something new to try. Drinks are always good and the pearls are just right. Definitely recommend!“

“Tried CoCo Bubble Tea for the first time and I loved it. The drink was so good that after the first sip, I already knew I’d be coming back.

The night staff were especially helpful. I usually need guidance choosing drinks and sugar levels, and instead of just pointing at the menu, they actually explained what’s in the drinks and helped me pick something I’d enjoy. Great service and great experience overall.“

“I remember bubble world back when I used to be in highschool. There used to be a location in Coquitlam on North Road where I went to during my school breaks. I love the food, it is definitely nostalgic and comforting. The drinks are always delicious, and the people are always friendly and kind. It's not fancy, but it doesn't pretend to be either. It's a chill atmosphere, kids love it, I like how they post pictures of what the kids draw on their wall. Gives the place a welcoming fun vibe. They've of course updated their drinks and food since I used to be in highschool (20 years ago). I'm so glad this place still exists and hope business continues to do well for them. Also their chicken nuggets are to die for.“
