“Best Taiwanese wheel cakes I've ever had (including in Taiwan). Have been going here since the early 2000s and quality has stayed just as good with surprisingly low prices. Can't fathom a day where they aren't in business anymore— a Richmond staple and a true must-try.“

“My favorite bubble tea shop ever! Great quality drinks with mochi like boba that I cant get enough of. Prices are surprisingly average compared to the high quality I see in their drinks. Always have great specialty drink choices (again with decent prices compared to other places). And drink sizes are average too, so prices arent lower for smaller drinks. Love this place!“

“If you’re tired of the same old milk tea, you have to try Cocobay. All of their drinks are coconut-based, which is such a fantastic and unique twist on the traditional bubble tea you find everywhere else.

“I ordered a Mango Green Tea from 101 Boba through Uber Eats recently, and I wanted to leave feedback about the experience because the customer service at the Capstan location really stood out.

On the Uber Eats menu, the drink description for the Mango Green Tea was not very clear that it included additional
ingredients/floating toppings inside the drink and i thought it would be mango flavoring. When I received it, it was not what I expected, and I honestly was not very happy with it. I called the store simply to ask if there was any possibility of exchanging it, and I even explained that I had not really drank it and was willing to bring it back.

Carrie at the Capstan location handled the situation extremely professionally. She was polite, understanding, and genuinely cared about keeping the customer happy. She immediately tried to help and made the process easy instead of making it uncomfortable or difficult. She even told me not to worry about bringing it back.

Considering the drink itself was not very expensive, I really appreciated that she focused more on customer satisfaction and long term service rather than arguing over policy.

That kind of service is what makes customers want to come back again.
I also contacted another location to ask about the situation, and while the staff member there was still polite, the experience felt very different. The response was more focused on explaining that the drink already comes with floating ingredients rather than understanding why the menu description may have confused a customer ordering online. I mentioned that the Uber Eats menu could probably be made clearer for future customers so people know exactly what they are ordering.

Overall, I just want to give credit to Carrie at the Capstan location for handling the situation the right way. Professional, understanding, and customer focused service like that makes a huge difference.“

“I'm a big fan of the lychee osmanthus milk tea. You can really taste the lychee and osmanthus which is pretty rare since they're quite light flavours and can be indiscernible if not done well. I also really like the straw hahaha it's like a coffee stir stick but with three small holes. Since the straw is so thin, I feel like I'm drinking a large for the suck to time ratio, even though the drink is a regular size (they don't have large). It's prolonging my drink time“

Drinks do not taste overly sweet at 50% sugar. I also appreciate that they use strong paper lid covers/straws instead of plastic.“

“Mika is the best!! ALL MY FRIENDS LOVE IT HERE! The only place that open til late!! Everything is always so fresh, and the staff are amazing—they recommended the mockjito, and it was phenomenal. “Coco’s drink quality is always consistent so I always come back! However, I am a bit dissatisfied with the customer experience in my last visit.

I ordered a milk tea with 30% sugar and regular ice. Unfortunately by the time I looked at my receipt and I realized it did not say 30% sugar the drink had already been made. As I let the girl with the glasses and claw clip know she said “but it’s already made, so it is it okay?”. And then I kindly asked her to remake it because I was sure I asked for 30% (I always get my drinks 30% for health reasons) and she looked pretty annoyed and said with a straight face “but you said regular sugar and ice”. To which I kindly said “oh I did say 30% actually sorry”. But I’m grateful she asked the barista to remake it anyways.

What happened was after I ordered, there was a lineup behind me so I wanted to quickly leave the counter after ordering. It’s definitely my fault for not double checking the screen and properly listening to the cashier repeat my order. But even if it was my mistake, I don’t think it warranted that kind of reaction from her. Remaking a regular milk tea takes less than 30 seconds and doesn’t cost a lot of money at all. I didn’t understand why it seemed like such an inconvenience to request the drink to be remade. Again, I’m grateful she did end up asking the barista to remake my drink (she was also really nice when I was ordering) but this experience did make me a little sad and I felt bad for being troublesome.“

“The most I complain is about their seats being so dirty. They are obviously seen a lot of large or small stains on the seating area of the sofa. The store is located near river shore area and expected to have high comfort dining experience. This is my first dining in but however being so shocked with this nice and roomy store. I had a great experience at this Chatime location! The first thing I noticed when walking in was how clean and well-maintained the entire shop is, which always makes a difference when grabbing a drink.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I stepped up to the counter. A huge shoutout to Chloe, who provided exceptional customer service. She was very welcoming and very friendly.

I like the fact that they use real ingredients in their drinks and you can definitely taste the difference. If you dine in at Dinesty you get an even better deal on their drinks.“

Though one time we went 10 minutes early but they just wouldn’t make one for us. Wish the opening hours were a little earlier. My favourite is the rice yogurt! It is so good!!!

“IMO for 8ppl eating Taiwanese Cafe for Dinner 200$ with taxes full set meals with specialty or boba drinks was very economical in comparison to other nights we had a medicore dinner at more costly price during when my brother's family came to visit, I seriously had to double check when I saw the bill as we still had leftovers.

They still have a wide menu selection, fast and frendly service, lots of drink options, and generous portions. If you’re a fan of rich, comforting soup noodles, this one place you need try as each one is served individually hot pot style.

Dont forget your Twoonies as they cash only.
Everyone found something on the menu to enjoy from age 5 to 85.

On the window they was nominated for a slot in the 2026 best Asian restaurant in Canada, but I personally think quality not same and parking is not as easy from last year in comparison.“

“I ordered with high expectations since Heytea is such a well-known brand and it tastes really good in Vietnam. However, here the brown sugar milk tea was too milky for my taste and not very special. The shop smelled strongly of tea when we walked in, but the tea flavor in the drink itself wasn’t strong at all. The boba was soft and chewy, but nothing particularly special. It’s also a bit pricey compared to other stores around $10 for a brown sugar milk tea.

We visited on a Saturday and had to wait about 20 minutes for our drinks, so I don’t think I’ll come back.“
