“came here for a late night craving and was so satisfied! we came in just before close and they were gracious enough to let us in. our servers were so friendly and sweet, they answered all the questions we had regarding their menu.

we ended up getting the b.11 which was the rare beef and brisket pho, alongside their fresh chicken salad roll! both were so rich in flavour—and the perfect portion as well

this was my first time coming here and will definitely be coming back. also shout out to Tuan, he was such a gem :)

“I dined here for lunch a few days ago with some friends. We ordered different pasta dishes to share and we all ate the matcha tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Noodles were cooked perfectly, and all the sauces had the right amount of seasoning (nothing was lacking or overpowering the dish). The dessert was very tasty and not super sugary as other desserts can be.

Since this was during the lunch time rush, the restaurant was fully seated with people waiting for a table. The service was quick and attentive. Our water was refilled and the server made sure to check on us and how our meal was. We did not feel rushed nor ignored.

I feel the owner and the staff have corrected a lot of the concerns it seems people have had with negative reviews. This is now one of my favourite restaurants in Richmond and I will be coming back many more times.“

“Had an excellent experience at Don Tacos in Richmond Centre! We tried the beef tacos, beef ramen, and the Tres Leches cake, and everything was absolutely delicious. The beef was very juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour.

What really stood out was that this is the only restaurant we found serving halal beef ramen, which was a huge plus. The ramen tasted amazing and was very satisfying. The Tres Leches cake was also a great way to end the meal—soft, sweet, and fresh.

“Had brunch at Cannery Café and it was a great experience. We went with the mid-priced brunch set and added an extra dish to share—lots of variety and very filling. Everything tasted fresh and well made.

The café is small and cozy, and the staff were lovely. It does get busy, so I’d suggest going before noon or being ready to wait a bit. Food takes some time, but overall definitely worth it. Would happily come back.“

“The chicken, fires, and gravy are all Excellent! KFC style but so much better! So much better! Chicken is so tasty and not greasy. Fries are fairly thick cut, perfect for dipping in the slightly peppery gravy. I've only tried one of the salads once and it was better than the 2 national brands you can get in the grocery store. This is pretty much a walk-up/take out restaurant (especially since covid--no eat-in anymore). I've only seen the same two people working there all these years. Brother/sister or husband/wife, I assume? They are hard workers putting in long hours 7 days a week. No money has been spent on the "dining room" or menu boards. LOL. They take cash and debit (credit??). Their debit machine has no tap function and is dial up so you need your PIN and a bit of patience. That is also way phone calls don't go through. I have never tried to pre-order by phone. Usually only takes about 10 min to get your order anyway. Can't recommend them enough. When family/friends come into town, I try to make sure we get LA Chicken for them while they are here.“

“I'm a big fan of the lychee osmanthus milk tea. You can really taste the lychee and osmanthus which is pretty rare since they're quite light flavours and can be indiscernible if not done well. I also really like the straw hahaha it's like a coffee stir stick but with three small holes. Since the straw is so thin, I feel like I'm drinking a large for the suck to time ratio, even though the drink is a regular size (they don't have large). It's prolonging my drink time“

Ginger chicken steamed bun: 3 pc, small size, dough a little soggy, guessing they steam up factory made frozen buns.

Cod fish maw & vegetable in oyster sauce : Very tasty and good portion for the 3 of us!

Rolled rice sheet with fish filling : great! Unlike the more common choice of rolled rice sheet with fish paste, this dish has fish pieces and no deep frying involved.

Fried rice with diced chicken and salted fish: Great! Good portion.

Overall, I have reservation on the quality of their bamboo tray steamed dim sum. I appreciate the flavour in their made-to-the-order items. I had dinner here on the past and I remember it was very flavourful, and they have very attentive servers.“

“When the Vancouver location closed down, I was disappointed that we have lost a gem for Shanghai soup dumplings. But when they opened up in Richmond again, all hope was restored. Quality of food is still there. Make sure you line up earlier during dinner service because it gets quite busy. Service is as expected from a restaurant with authentic taste. “A nice big high ceilings and big windows Chinese restaurant. It's good enough for a dim sum lunch and dinner since the place is comfortable and roomy. It's a good Chinese restaurant if you are meeting your friends and family since it's comfortable and not noise.
They offer 20% off for the dim sum and free tea in the morning until 11am Monday to Friday. This is a good deal if you can go in the morning. There are plenty of free parking too.
Since the restaurant is big, sometimes you may find no enough staff there.
The price is reasonable and food is quite good. They have some promotion combo and special price in lunch time.
