We had the chance to taste a wonderful selection of white wines, red wines, and, most importantly, their delicious icewine. A special thanks to Shirley, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and so generous with the tastings. She made the tour both informative and enjoyable.

If you’ve never tried Canadian icewine before, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I highly recommend booking a tour to learn more about the winery and experience their excellent wines!“

Every dish we’ve tried has been well executed, and you can really tell they put care into both the ingredients and presentation. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make the experience even better.“

“I love Mexican food, especially their rice bowls, and I believe Don Tacos offers the best Mexican experience, although with the caveat of authentic Mexican nuances. I’ve tried their rice bowl, which looks elegant and tastes fantastic. The staff are always friendly and willing to share insights about Mexican cuisine and culture when I ask. They also display small figures dressed in traditional Mexican clothing on the counter, which is a charming touch.

The atmosphere may be lively and a bit chaotic, as is typical in the Richmond Centre food court, but the ordering process is smooth, and the quality of ingredients and flavours remains excellent.“

“I was here for lunch. The persian food and location is awesome. Its right on Stevestons village with beautiful ocean view.
The ambience and service is awesome. People are friendly and helped me to understand the authentic persian food.

We had appies cauliflower dish and eggplant dish with soft persian bread. The eggplant spread with bread is the killer. Must try. Loved it.

The main course lamb shark, prawn biryani and other chicken dish are good. Liked the saffron flavoured rice and well cooked lamb shank. The biryani is also good however it is different from
How Biryani cooked in India food. At the end we had Baclava dessert with persian Chai. I never had such authentic flavourful baclava. It has almost sprinkled on top and inside it is having cardamom flavour. Woow it was mouthful of flavour. Chai is also very tasty.
I would say, eggplant spread with bread as well Baclava dessert is must try at this place.“

“So happy to have a specialty coffee shop in Richmond! Miion has a lovely selection of coffee beverages and pastries/breads. They also carry coffee beans from specialty roasters for sale and have fun seasonal drinks. Nice spot to catch up with friends but the cafe is quite small so not ideal for laptop working.“

“Richmond has a very large number of eateries specializing in Chinese food. Some quite outstanding, in fact. But when you are looking for an affordable option, and you are in the area near Richmond Centre, Aberdeen Centre, etc., then head out to the food court at Landsdown Centre right on No. 3 Rd. Among the many options here is R & H Chinese Food. On our last visit, we ordered one of our favourite items, Xiao Long Bao, the broth inside very tasty. We also ordered, Boiled Pork Dumplings with Chives, Wonton in Hot Chili Sauce, and had to go back for a couple more orders of the Xiao Long Bao. All dishes were very good. Maybe not the best you can find in Richmond, but certainly hit the spot, made right there in front of your eyes, and very affordable. They also have frozen items to take home, by the way... Finding seating at the food court might get complicated, depending on the day/time. But eventually, a table will be available, even for larger groups. Definitely recommend.“

“I used to go to the Vancouver location, but parking there has become pretty difficult, and it doesn’t seem to be as busy as it used to be. If you don’t want to wait too long, I’d definitely consider this location instead.
This was my first time here, and I was a little worried about the smell because every time I ate at the Vancouver location, I would leave smelling strongly of cooking oil from head to toe. The smell would stick to my clothes and hair so badly that I felt like I had to change and wash everything afterward.
Thankfully, that wasn’t the case here. The restaurant is more spacious, and there was much less of that heavy greasy smell. The service was also great. The staff were friendly and the refills came out really quickly.
We ordered the Hire Katsu, Katsu Nabe Hire + Udon, and Kake Udon. The meat was tender and juicy, and the breading was nicely fried and didn’t fall apart.
By the time we started eating, there was already a line outside. Overall, we had a really good experience and would definitely come back.“

🥥We absolutely enjoyed the coconut jelly, the mango was freshly cut (we heard him cutting at the back) and the taro balls tastes chewy. The jelly itself was very fresh, not too sweet but still kept the young coconut’s flavour.

🍲The chicken soup was okay, nothing to complain about for just $5.99.

Myself being a manager of a company I know first hand how hard it can be to hold on to great, amazing, and hardworking employees you should be very proud of your staff as they are all amazing and work incredibly hard for your franchise.
Your food, smoothies and juices so far have all been amazing as I work my way through your menu, I usually try to come over to this location at least 3 times per week.
Bella deserves a major shout out for all of her dedication, reliability and hardwork as she always greets you by your name and says goodbye, is always a sweetheart and very proud of her job and the excellent service that she provides. “The chicken, fires, and gravy are all Excellent! KFC style but so much better! So much better! Chicken is so tasty and not greasy. Fries are fairly thick cut, perfect for dipping in the slightly peppery gravy. I've only tried one of the salads once and it was better than the 2 national brands you can get in the grocery store. This is pretty much a walk-up/take out restaurant (especially since covid--no eat-in anymore). I've only seen the same two people working there all these years. Brother/sister or husband/wife, I assume? They are hard workers putting in long hours 7 days a week. No money has been spent on the "dining room" or menu boards. LOL. They take cash and debit (credit??). Their debit machine has no tap function and is dial up so you need your PIN and a bit of patience. That is also way phone calls don't go through. I have never tried to pre-order by phone. Usually only takes about 10 min to get your order anyway. Can't recommend them enough. When family/friends come into town, I try to make sure we get LA Chicken for them while they are here.“

“Went during their BOGO Anniversary deal, and decided to try their Lychee osmanthus milk tea alongside their matcha latte frappe. There was obviously a line, but it went by decently, and my drink came out relatively quick.

The lychee osmanthus was okay imo. Just tasted my lychee and a hint of osmanthus, refreshing though.
The whipped matcha cream was not too sweet, and the pecans were nice. I'd say I prefer the matcha over the other drink I had.

However, I just wish they had more toppings since I prefer texture in my bubble teas. But I can understand that certain teas may not always call for toppings but some brown sugar pearls for their matcha would probably make me go bankrupt 🤤“

“I ordered a Mango Green Tea from 101 Boba through Uber Eats recently, and I wanted to leave feedback about the experience because the customer service at the Capstan location really stood out.

On the Uber Eats menu, the drink description for the Mango Green Tea was not very clear that it included additional
ingredients/floating toppings inside the drink and i thought it would be mango flavoring. When I received it, it was not what I expected, and I honestly was not very happy with it. I called the store simply to ask if there was any possibility of exchanging it, and I even explained that I had not really drank it and was willing to bring it back.

Carrie at the Capstan location handled the situation extremely professionally. She was polite, understanding, and genuinely cared about keeping the customer happy. She immediately tried to help and made the process easy instead of making it uncomfortable or difficult. She even told me not to worry about bringing it back.

Considering the drink itself was not very expensive, I really appreciated that she focused more on customer satisfaction and long term service rather than arguing over policy.

That kind of service is what makes customers want to come back again.
I also contacted another location to ask about the situation, and while the staff member there was still polite, the experience felt very different. The response was more focused on explaining that the drink already comes with floating ingredients rather than understanding why the menu description may have confused a customer ordering online. I mentioned that the Uber Eats menu could probably be made clearer for future customers so people know exactly what they are ordering.

Overall, I just want to give credit to Carrie at the Capstan location for handling the situation the right way. Professional, understanding, and customer focused service like that makes a huge difference.“
