It was a very pleasant place, the food was good. I made a reservation for when the restaurant was just opening, not busy. A bit hard to find parking, however. Overall, it was a nice place to meet for a lunch gathering, easy place to hear others and talk without having to raise one's voice, as the volume level of background noise is pretty low, so it's easy to hear your friends, even if there is a quieter speaker in your group. This place is clearly an authentic Japanese place, which is rare anywhere else in Metro Vancouver except Steveston. The architecture is very Japanese, like the sushi places I went to in Japan. The ingredients are authentic and fresh. The presentation makes all the food look very good, because it is.
