“The Taste of Zen is a wonderful vegetarian restaurant right in the city center. As soon as you walk in, the cozy and natural setting makes you feel welcome. They have a great menu full of fresh, local vegetables and each dish is packed with flavor. The chefs really know how to make vegetables taste amazing, and even people who usually eat meat will love the food here. This place is more than just a restaurant; it’s a place that shows how delicious and satisfying vegetarian food can be. The staff are friendly and really care about the food they serve, which makes the whole experience even better. They're not just serving meals, they're creating a place where people can enjoy healthy eating and think about where their food comes from. Eating at the Taste of Zen is a delightful experience that stays with you because the food is just that good.“
“One of my favorite vegetarian restaurants, the proprietress is very enthusiastic and patient every time. The eggplant bean curd rice is the best, and the miso noodle soup is also delicious. The boss often gives Buddhist CDs along with the situation, he is very kind.“
“4 Stones never disappoint. We've been coming for years. Long before they were a Richmond staple. The food is always so tasty. Lots of vegan options as well. Every one there is friendly and helpful. So happy that they were able to stay open through this crazy years. We're having the best New Year's Eve dinner tonight. Love their Mapo tofu.“
“Amazingly home cooked type Chinese cuisine, very suitable for vegans. The flavourful mock meats like vegan chickn and BBQ sauce with vegan meat slices are mouth watering. The baos are also terrific.Only wish they'd provide rice with the main dishes (it's to be bought paying extra) and also have more seating area (that's not their fault though since it's in a food court).Vegetarian options: All vegan dishes“
