“I frequently come to Joey's, I'm always greeted with great energy and treated very well, the energy here is awesome. Some names to mention of great employees are Maddi, Danni, Bel, Sisi, Sarah, Serina, Piotr, Maddi Mackenzie, Mckenzie, Chad, Val, Mare, Sayed, Alex, Kiana, Nikayla. “Fantastic, the best beef in beef noodle soup I've ever had. Parking is a nightmare, and lineup is normal. If you get lucky with the parking, it is definitely worth the wait. They have perfected their craft, and the name no. 1 beef noodle, fits the description perfectly. Try it out if you have the opportunity to do so.“

“This was my first time trying Sushi Modo. I've been searching for a good Katsu Don in Vancouver, so I looked it up on Yelp and found this place nearby.

Surprisingly, this restaurant seems to be genuinely Japanese-managed rather than Chinese. The venue is clean and tidy, and the waitress served me politely with a big smile, reminiscent of restaurants in Japan.

In my opinion, the Katsu Don is a 3.5/5. The rice portion is just right (about 1/4 cup, if you're familiar with rice cookers, you know what I mean). The pork cutlets with egg topping were decent, in the traditional Katsu Don style. The sauce was a bit salty but still acceptable. I'm not sure if it would be juicier if I dined in, as my pork cutlets were a bit dry inside, though the coating was still crispy and tasty.

The miso soup was tastier than the usual powdered versions. It included tofu, which added to the flavor and made the soup more enjoyable.

The 9-piece California roll was decent and worth the price.

I will try again next time and see if dining in makes a difference.

“I really enjoy dining here even though it’s always busy and requires a bit of wait. It reminds me of Taiwan and makes me miss it. The servers are authentically friendly and professional. Food is always fresh and the hot pot combo offers plenty of food so I leave satisfied. My favorite is the tom yum soup base, can’t help but get it every time I go. The reward program gives you excellent discounts. The only area of improvement would be to offer better ice cream. It tastes artificial and comes in a styrofoam container, so I usually skip it.

“This is the best breakfast place within a few kilometers of my home. If you’ve never tried soufflé pancakes, you absolutely should. While there’s a bit of a wait for them to be prepared, it’s worth every minute. The only downside is that they’re closed on Sundays. I reccomend their Bentos for the variety and their Tuna Sashimi as my favorite dish; The Appetizer Tempura also makes a great addition to any dinner choice.

Dim sum…was very limited 2 or 3 choices…and slow to get refilled…

I was disappointed that my 10 and 14 year old child had to pay the full adult price of 52$ each, as this location based it off height…and not age…

If your planning to go with your kids…personally I don’t think it’s worth it…

As well…please be advised…if your planning to pay by credit card…they will charge you a 2% fee…unless you do their survey…in which case they will wave the 2% fee“

“Best ramen in town, and we live on ramen.
We have tried nearly all of them and have been coming here for two years now.
The most favourite by my family that we all LOVE is takoyaki, and rice bombs. My kids fight over them. If you get the rich broth it will be heavier and oilier than the regular broth.
Service is OK, and even friendly at times, but today they brought our appetizers halfway through the meal. Took them very long time.
Wish they had gluten-free noodles though.

The staff are quick, friendly, and easy to talk to, and the one time I had an issue, they resolved it promptly. Parking is convenient, with free spots available parallel to the street in front of the restaurant, and free parking in the back—though it can fill up, especially around dinner time. I highly recommend the Pho Sate; it's a rare find at most Vietnamese places, and they do it exceptionally well, with a distinct and superior flavor compared to other restaurants that offer it.“

“I arrived a little early and luckily found a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. I was welcomed and seated. Our server was great and very patient. Food was excellent and just as we requested. Appetizer, Main Course and Dessert / Coffee were spaced out and we felt relaxed and not rushed at all. Food was fresh and very tasty. The staff were very friendly and attentive, so when I’m in the Brentwood area I prefer to come here over other sushi places. Perfect if you’re taking transit.“

“Had my birthday dinner here with a couple buddies. Food and service were both amazing. our server Julie (I'm sorry if I'm not remembering correctly) was amazing. She was pleasant and informative and took the time to explain the menu because it was my first time there, and best of all she was attentive. She would check in every so often and was just great over all. I got the 14oz NY strip medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. I dont see why anyone would go to the keg anymore with a place like this literally across the street. 10/10“

“Had the Veggie Pho (which they can make Vegan if you ask to replace fish sauce with soy sauce) with Sweet and Sour soup and it was really delicious and very soothing if you are looking for something hot for your throat.

It would be great if they can explicitly mention that Veggie options on the menu can be made Vegan as well so that people are aware.

“My friend suggested we try it out as we were walking to my favourite restaurant a few stores down. Glad I did. Food was delicious and prices are good. Service was great and waitress was very nice and attentive. What was different was they have a few dishes I've never seen before like Deep Fried Pork Sausage Rolls and Ultimate Spring Roll in Salad Roll Definitely going back with family and friends.“

“Really delicious Greek food! I’ve always walked by this place in North Burnaby and we decided to finally give it a try for dinner!

We ordered a variety of dishes, the trio of hummus and dips, lamb chops, chicken and the moussaka.

The dishes were superb! They all had really good flavours and tasted fresh and yummy! The moussaka was great, it’s very heavy and umami like tasting, and had great filling! The eggplant was super soft, sweet and cooked very well. The lamb chops were nicely marinated same with the half chicken too.

The best part was the calamari and the trio of dips. The calamari was nice and crunchy and wasn’t overly oily at all. Further, the fish roe and hummus were so good. Highly recommend getting it with extra pita!

Really thoroughly enjoyed this place, very good tasting Greek food. Definitely will come back. Friendly waitress too!
