“I frequent Joey Burnaby, however, it was my first time having the blackened chicken, which was very yummy. What really impressed me was the hot potato salad that came with the meal - delicious!!! Everyone else in our party really enjoyed their meals too. Even though the room was very energetic we could still have a decent conversation. It added to the level fun we were having for a twin birthday celebration. The server was excellent, very attentive especially because we had someone who is celiac and has special food limitations.“

“I came here for Japanese food and it's really good , I don't really have any complaints at all.
-The mango Tango roll was like so amazing they had more than enough toppings and the flavor was like nothing I have had before
-the takoyaki was pretty good , I loved how the outside had a crispy shell , encasing the gooey inside. It was a tad pricy for how much we got though.
-the cherry blossoms roll was pretty good I loved how tangy and sweet it was.
-The veggie udon was solid , noodles had good texture , soup could use more flavor.
- the wasabi mayo prawn was alright , the sauce only tasted sweet and there wasent enough flavor so I had trouble finishing it.

Service was good , I will probably come back especially for that mango Tango roll.“

“Food is a bit hit or miss.

I got the A2 beef noodle soup with shank and tendon and sliced noodles which was pretty good. The broth was flavourful, meat was tender, noodles were the right amount of chewiness, and portion size was good.

C7 prawn wontons in chili sauce was just okay, but it had a weird sweet taste.

D3 deep fried basket was just okay. The fried chicken and squid were crispy but a little bland. The stinky tofu tasted too stinky even for me.

Service is ok, on par for a typical asian restaurant.“

“Found this lil Italian gem on a google search; pleasantly surprised with the food! I highly recommend the pistachio pasta, gnocchi with meat sauce and any of the pizza's, they will not disappoint. Our server was exceptional; very knowledgeable about the menu, answered all of our questions and most importantly patient with my very hangry husband. Needless to say we were all happy when we left. It was great evening and next time we're in town we'll head to La Forchetta.“

“The Taiwanese hot pot in Burnaby has a very authentic taste. It has many menu choices, fresh ingredients, bright store lights, and friendly service. It is also worth mentioning that the store is also very kind to children and will give children stickers, which is also good for parent-child customers. Highly recommended. “I have been here for both the ramen and the don.

Overall the don is fantastic with colossal serving sizes. I believe there was a $10 chashu don special at one point and it was wonderful. The don never disappoints.

Ramen is a little small for me but the taste is always great and beautiful presentation.

The atmosphere is nice with simple wood tables and seats, moderate lighting and relatively quiet.

Servers are nice and do a great job.

“My friend suggested we try it out as we were walking to my favourite restaurant a few stores down. Glad I did. Food was delicious and prices are good. Service was great and waitress was very nice and attentive. What was different was they have a few dishes I've never seen before like Deep Fried Pork Sausage Rolls and Ultimate Spring Roll in Salad Roll Definitely going back with family and friends.“

“Recently went here for Lunch with the family.
It was around 60$ per person for AYCE for 2 hours. We went on a Saturday at around 12:30 to 1ish and the wait was only a few minuted to be seated.
2 Hour FREE Parking is included, by parking in the lot behind the restaurant and then scanning at QR code at reception.
So the way it works is you basically pay for the soup base (which is priced at 59.99), and order any sliced meats (no charge) on the iPad they give you. And any other vegetables, noodles or other add ons you want to put into your soup base is at the back for you to grab yourself. You have a 2 hour dining limit, but you can order as much meat as you’d like. They also have a dessert bar and sauce bar as well that you can customize to your liking. Afterwards they also give complimentary Soft Serve ice cream. Staff is very friendly and always checking in on you and collecting plates as you go. Definitely somewhere I’d go for more special occasions, rather than a normal outing.“

“We were visiting from out of town and stopped at Cactus Club for my partners birthday dinner. We are so happy we chose Cactus as the food and service were great!

We were lucky to have Ghayass as our server and they were amazing! Very attentive and made our birthday celebration feel special. Huge shout out to Ghayass!

For food we started with the calamari and it was amazing, I could have eaten a large entree sized portion of just this! We also got a green goddess salad that was great and the bolognese pasta which was really good.

We ordered a crème brûlée for desert and Ghayass made it special by bringing it out with a happy birthday message and a candle, thank you so much! The dessert was amazing!

“Amazing sushi place right next to the Holdom Station! I’ve been to half of the sushi restaurant in Vancouver and I really liked this place:) It’s cozy and clean. The menu is kinda hard to read but the selections are also more varying than other sushi places for sushi lovers. I liked Deluxe Chirashi and Tokusen Sashimi. For Oshi sushi, I recommend unagi oshi! For special rolls, Awesome cream cheese roll and Mazinga roll are my favourite!“

The dynamite roll and the salmon nigiri was alright, but the unagi nigiri and Tamago nigiri were the best. Unagi nigiri melted in my mouth and the Tamago nigiri was so sweet and tasty. “Around 4:30pm, without eating all day, I was exploring a new restaurant where offers a fresh small meal for a single person, and Han Ju Tofu Hot Pot caught my eyes and in the meantime the restaurant boss told me to give it a try.
