“Food is delicious. Portion size is generous even for the regular size bowl. Staff is always friendly. Orders are always fulfilled fast even in the peak hours. They have reserved parking outside which is great for a fast pickup. I work few minutes away and ordered for pick up few times already - sometimes for me or for the team at the office. Definitely recommend them.“

“Our group of 6 Joyful Friends had an excellent experience at Sooda in Brentwood Mall. We enjoyed the special lunch at $19.99 per person. A highlight was my soup, served sizzling hot in a stone pot, which makes Sooda unique. Ordered the family Sweet Soy Chicken & Fries Took awhile to prepare the food (15 mins) No wonder ,huge amount of chicken box was packed full. Large pieces very flavorful, not greasy at all like Churches grease feast j chicken . Fries were amazing .I found a new go to place to buy chicken for a game . A tad pricey, buy I assure you very well worth the money . If this place franchises, they will give KFC & Churches very serious condition . My first time there , highly impressed. “Amazing quality for such an unbelievably affordable price!
The kimbap rice was perfectly cooked not too soft or mushy and each roll was generously filled with a variety of ingredients, making every bite delicious and satisfying. The tteokbokki had a great chewy texture, and the sauce was flavorful without being overwhelmingly spicy, pairing perfectly with the kimbap.
Highly recommend the Tuna Chili Kimbap and the Deep Fried Shrimp Kimbap! Will definitely be coming back again“

“SUPER🔆🔆We just tried a few things for a late lunch after finding this really great little restaurant, and we enjoyed them VERY much‼ Their homemade soups, were excellent in great broth flavours, and both had many generous added ingredients. Our beef ribs bbq was excellent-typically, a little pricy, but SO good! The nicely done seafood pancake was quite large, and just filled with ingredients! Their 4 entrees were just great-a sweet dressing salad, nice homemade kimchi, pickled peppers, sweet daikon-and rice! Their soups-bean paste, and pork bone broths were SO flavourful‼ After trying just these menu items, we definitely WILL be back✅✅ It is clean, and fairly priced. The server, Ji-Yeun was SO friendly and helpful, and very attentive. We WILL be going back-it is such a comfortable place with great menu choices!✅✅“

“My husband I were looking for something quick but good. This was our first time being to this place. The gentleman that took our order was very nice and helped us decide on what to get. We both ordered the Original chicken meal that came with a drink as well and it was only $13.99. The portion amount was really good for the price. The chicken was hot and fresh plus the fries were crispy the way I like it. We will definitely go back again.“

“This place came highly recommended by family. It's in a little strip mall just east of the Royal Oak Centre (Walmart). We ordered the Korean Bulgogi pizza (our other fav is the Holy Honey Sweet Potato) and the Katsu Special Set (Alberta pork quality is much better) and asked for one change. Wanted an upgrade/ substitute to the Supreme over the default Japanese pork loin katsu. The menu only showed a surcharge of $1 for the difference under the katsu varieties and yet we paid this $4.40 for extra (Special) sauce. This wasn't explained very well by the server. Just tell us in advance if we can't make this change to your special set menu. Apparently, you were clear that the Curry Special set could only be Shrimp Tempura and nothing else.“

“One of the best Korean restaurants I have tried so far ⭐️ Absolutely delicious!! It’s insanely good. I was surprised by how rich and flavorful the soup of the tteok Mandu guk was. The portion size was big and there’s a generous amount of strips of brisket which were also tasty. The carbonara tteokbokki was delicious and had a decent portion, the flavor just exploded in my mouth. You can taste the perfect balance of cheese and the spices. The sauce was just soo good.

I still remember the flavor and I’m craving for it! Highly recommend! The staff was also attentive and friendly.“

“I had a really enjoyable experience at 88 Town. The beef BBQ was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the soup, hot pot, and seafood pancake. Everything was flavorful and satisfying, and it was a great place to enjoy Korean food with family and friends.

The robot service was also a fun and unique experience. It made the dining experience even more interesting, especially for anyone who enjoys trying something different.

I would definitely come back to try more dishes. Highly recommend checking out 88 Town if you’re looking for Korean food in the Metrotown area.

“As a Korean, I seriously need to eat Yangnyeom chicken regularly—you know what I mean? :)
I know Chicko Chicken’s Yangnyeom chicken is actually pretty close to the traditional sweet-style Yangnyeom, but honestly… the quality really depends on each store.
That’s why I’m so happy I found this good Chicko location!

“Great casual eat! They give you an egg to crack right into your boiling hot soup so thats fun. The rice was well cooked and tasted good quality. I liked the fresh kimchi and slightly vinigary seaweed salad side dish. I got the tofu soup with seafood which hit the spot but lacked a little oomf compared to tofu soups I've had before. Would go again, especially for their lunch deal :)“

“The quality of the chicken is hit and miss - lots of pieces that are basically cartilage and bone then some have lots of white meat. The sauces are tasty but they finish sweet and could use more flavour than predominantly a syrup. I tried 3 and they are all very similar. The cook is great - crispy and fried to perfection (when you got a piece of meat ). I got the mix pack , bone-in , and it was as $30 with an added side sauce.
Overall it’s good but it could be 5/5 with a few tweaks“
