“I thought i had already written a review of this place but I haven't! I don't go anywhere else for my Korean food in BC. I literally haven't found a place that matches my palate as much as this place. Not just that, they are not stingy with their food! If you want seafood tofu soup, you GET seafood tofu soup. It's jam packed with goodies in the soup. Their seafood pancake is 🤤 not just a whole bunch of green onion and flour but an actual SEAFOOD pancake. And the servers, omg, they are fantastic. Every single one of them. They don't pressure you and just really let you enjoy your company. And our guy, I'm sorry I don't know your name! But you are always so delightful, happy and warm. You definitely make the experience better.“

“Great place we like it here very much, than you for opening until late at night. I recommend the spicy pork with rice, and the sausage & rice cake skewers. Friendly service, we learned that you can even call for birthday reservations, happened to see one table celebrating, they played happy birthday song video on their tv, then one of the owners lit the candle on the cake and put on a horse mask and sang happy birthday song again for them haha, and the whole place clapped, very heartwarming;)“

“Such a cute shop! We discovered it because it is featured at the Ice Cream Festival this year.

The Peach Bingsoo certainly did not disappoint! We really enjoyed the different textures and flavours together. Nice presentation as well.“

“Got some very delicious dolsot bibimbap! The waitress offered to refill my sides as they got low throughout the meal. Service was very fast! Would definitely come back if I wasn't visiting for work. It was a little expensive but I think I'm used to small town prices 😅“

“I just visited Namsan in Richmond after my trip to Mexico, and it was exactly what I needed. The food was so comforting and had that wonderful home-cooked vibe that really hit the spot. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I had such a great experience and will definitely be back“

“The lunch special at SURA Korean BBQ is an amazing value. The portions are generous, everything was fresh and flavorful, and the side dishes were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean. Definitely one of the best Korean lunch specials. I’ll be back!“

“What a phenomenal meal! My new go-to skewer place. Their seasoning is so flavourful and definitely the best I'veyl had at any skewer place. Third time here and it just gets better each time and honestly the most recent time (yesterday) was truly incredible. Every dish was 10/10. I recommend going with at least 3 people to get a good mix of stuff to share, as skewers often have minimum orders.

My skewer recommmendations: lamb, beef, pork belly, squid, gizzard, all equally good. The kitchen fried rice is also an amazing add on for some carbs. Seldom has a wait but also regularly fills up too. Tiny space, so service is easy and fast if you need anything. Casual hole-in-the-wall atmosphere with a peppa pig themed bathroom for some reason. 10/10, will continue to be my go-to skewer spot! Only complaint is don't expect a cheap meal, but this is true of all skewer places, so comparable to other spots, it's on par.“

“If you’re a fan of Korean-style BBQ, love meat, and have a big appetite, this place is definitely worth checking out! I came here for the AYCE dinner and really enjoyed the fresh meat selection.

There weren’t too many veggie options, though. For the seafood, I’d stick with the shrimp and scallops. Unfortunately, some of the other seafood items I tried had sand in them, so I wouldn’t recommend those.

The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with fun music and enthusiastic staff. It was still pretty busy when I left around 9 p.m. Overall, a fun spot if you’re mainly here for the BBQ and meat!“

“The food was served very quickly, and the service was attentive. Overall, the food was pretty decent. We ordered the spicy stir-fried rice cakes, but they were somewhat disappointing. The rice cakes and sauce didn’t seem to blend together very well.

Also, the side dishes can only be refilled once 😄. Overall, it was an okay experience, but the spicy rice cakes were a bit of a letdown.“

“My family’s favourite restaurant, at least once a week we have to visit this restaurant. My 10yr old daughter loves food here since she was two. No.14,19, 47,66 is the must order items for her. The cold noodle is really really good too, but only available in summer.“
