“Great value proposition in Taiwanese fried chicken. The crunch was good and it was generously seasoned. The serving size (I got a regular) is absolutely a monster for one person. I recommend sharing with at least two or more people. Despite the scale of fried chicken, I didn’t feel greasy after finishing it.

Cash only. There is an ATM at the lottery convenience at the other end of the mall. You are given a pager that vibrates and rings once your food is ready. Seating can be difficult at peak times since there’s other food spots in the cafeteria.“

“Got 3 piece combo mixed spicy and regular. If you like spicy like me the spicy chicken was great! It was a bit to much for my wife but she really enjoyed the regular flavor. Both of us agree that the chicken meat has more flavor than the average fried chicken spot.“

The servers all worked together to help customers feel taken care of. Zoha was our main server and she was great. “I initially purchased a Too Good To Go bag for my husband's dinner, then decided to order a separate meal for myself for $12.56 (small), choosing exactly what I wanted. That first purchase introduced me to Dragon Bowl and prompted me to become a paying dinner customer. My husband is Chinese and I am not, so we naturally approach Chinese cuisine from different perspectives, but I can appreciate fresh ingredients, good quality, and thoughtful service.

The food was fresh, non-greasy, and reasonably priced. My chicken thigh was juicy and tender, and the shredded tofu and pickled carrot were a lovely surprise. The mushroom sauce was delicious, but the portion was far too small. The tea egg was tasty, although $2.98 feels too expensive for one egg.

Unfortunately, the noodles in my separately purchased meal were undercooked, and the brown rice in the Too Good To Go order was also severely undercooked. Since both bases had this issue, it shows that more attention to thorough cooking the base starches (and perhaps training) is needed. I appreciated that the rice was brown rice, but it still needed to be cooked more thoroughly.

The seating area is small, and the chairs are uncomfortable, but the staff were exceptionally kind, patient, and welcoming. When I asked for tap water and they had no cups available, they thoughtfully used a takeaway soup container instead. I felt a little out of place, and their considerate service made a genuine difference.

I also noticed that the website lists a 10 p.m. closing time, although the restaurant closed at 9 p.m. Updating the listed hours would be helpful. (They still let me eat past closing, since I arrived at about 8:30pm.)

Overall, I would absolutely return. The Too Good To Go purchase at $8 introduced me to the restaurant, and I enjoyed the experience enough to buy a separate dinner for myself. The food has real potential, the prices are decent, and the service is outstanding. I simply hope the kitchen cooks the rice and noodles more thoroughly and offers a more reasonable portion of their sauces.“

“Salman was our cashier at the Lansdowne mall. He was very courteous, polite, friendly, and great at his job. This location knows how to run there restaurant.

Parking: Park by the toys r us at Lansdowne mall and you'll find the food court.

Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to maneuver a wheelchair in this food court.“
