Although the portion size was modest, it was sufficient, and I look forward to indulging in a larger portion on my next visit. “I have been to both Akbar Joojeh in Lonsdale and I love the service and people here the most. Paniz was super nice and patient. It was very crowded and long line but she managed the line and the tables with great attitude and a smile. The food was tasty and great portion. The atmosphere was great. The kitchen staff there were some hard working people and I truly enjoyed my experience there.“

“Check your order before you leave. I ordered online for pickup. I saw that they had a deal on Wednesday for an extra 6 pieces of chicken or tenders when you order 6 pieces. I ordered 3 orders of 6, expecting 36 pieces of chicken/tenders total to bring back for my fantasy football draft I was hosting. After I got home, I realized they'd only given me 18 pieces. I tried calling the store 15 times over the next 45 minutes and the line was constantly busy. I even tried calling the assistance number on my order confirmation and noone answered. Food was good, but still a terrible experience for me and all my guests.

Edit: The manager reached out to me over the phone and apologized. He also had me come back to the store at my convenience to give me the chicken that I didn't receive before. Really appreciated the effort.“

Everything was considered from the ordering process with the option to order from the screen kiosk or at the counter to the gloves to keep your hands clean! The meal was so filling and we had leftovers to take home! Remember to take some free mints on your way out!

“We tried Nando's our first night in vancouver after checking in to our hotel downtown. Absolutely incredible. Inessa was so welcoming, kind, and accommodating. I ordered the the thighs and two sides, and ordered the spicy level hot. The PERi mac and Brussels were soooo good!! The chicken was even better.

I LOVE spice, and I thought the flavor of the hot was incredible, but i asked Inessa if I could try the extra hot, because I wanted just a little more!!! She was really looking out for me by warning me that it was quite a bit spicier than hot - she was absolutely right, and I loved it!!! Thank you so much for the awesome experience!

The grand reopening however was a harbinger of what would become a rocky few years for the spicy red rooster. Uneven saucing, stale breads, and an unreliable fountain pop dispenser. But in true thoroughbred fashion however, The last several months have proved to be a stunning return to form. Perhaps churning out the finest birds of his career, Chef has regained his impeccable burner awareness, and the addition of perinaise and fresh baby arugula on artisan ciabatta has added the gourmet flair we never knew we needed. Large pieces very flavorful, not greasy at all like Churches grease feast j chicken . Fries were amazing .I found a new go to place to buy chicken for a game . A tad pricey, buy I assure you very well worth the money . If this place franchises, they will give KFC & Churches very serious condition . My first time there , highly impressed. I highly recommended you try this. Will not be disappointed. Very pleasant staff. Simple decor, but the service & food will amaze you . Thank you so very much for an amazing meal. I know Chicko Chicken’s Yangnyeom chicken is actually pretty close to the traditional sweet-style Yangnyeom, but honestly… the quality really depends on each store.
That’s why I’m so happy I found this good Chicko location!

“Visited after an appointment. Ordered 10 pieces chicken, a deluxe chicken sandwich and family size pasta. The chicken was fantastic, super crunchy and some were mild spicy. Deluxe chicken sandwich was crispy, lettuce and tomato were fresh. The family size pasta was only ok and kinda small. It definitely would not feed 3-5ppl.

“Unfortunately, the customer service has been consistently disappointing. The lady at the cashier is never friendly to my husband and me. During our last visit, I noticed she was very nice to the customer in front of us, but when it was our turn, she was rude again. I'm not sure if this is only toward non-Asian customers, but it has happened to us repeatedly.

That said, the food is excellent. We always order the fried chicken from here, and it has been amazing every single time. The quality and taste are consistently great, which is the only reason we've kept coming back.
