“Enjoyed a bowl of cold buckwheat noodles and the most delicious and premium seafood pancake I've had. The value of the pancake is worth the higher than average cost. The pots of hot corn tea made sitting outside on a chilly evening quite comfortable and a kettle of Makgeolli was the perfect size for a table of 3-4.“

We were waiting for a large party table at the Korean restaurant next door, but after waiting for 40mins, we were told that they can’t accommodate our large group sue to limited space. While disappointed that we were not able to enjoy the food from that restaurant, especially with two hungry one-year-old who were at dinner time ?,we were hoping to order takeout from this restaurant and eat next door at Chicko Chicken (nobody was dining in at that moment). Angela graciously allowed us to come in and stay so we don’t have to stand outside in the cold winter night and figure out the alternatives. We ordered the take out, and some delicious chicken from Chicko Chicken. It was a memorable night!! “We came on a Friday night for dinner. Like many people have said, parking is limited to the few spots at the front or else you would need to find parking on the back streets. The back street is residential area with no street lights so it can be scary to walk by yourself.

The food was very tasty and good portion. But I found the soup a bit heavy on MSG. Food came out really fast. The side dishes is unlimited refill.

The service was excellent and attentive. The server checked on us every 10 minutes or so. She knew it was our first time trying the hot plate so she helped us quite a bit. She explained how to eat the food quite well.

Parking: Difficult to find parking at the front. Free side street parking with 7-10 minutes walk.“

“We met up with a friend here for lunch and it was good. We were seated very quickly when we arrived.

After looking at their menu, at first we were thinking about individual entrees but we saw their whole menu through a QR code and got a Hot Plate to share. I wish they had a physical copy of their Hot Plate menus on the table.

We ordered the Hot Plate Teokbokki, substituted the pork for beef, and added ramen. It was nice how they brought the huge hot plate and had it grilled at our table. We waited a couple minutes to cook before we ate. Our hot plate had so many components: beef, chicken katsu, fish cakes, rice cakes, cheese, corn, steamed egg on the side, gyoza, egg in the center, and green onion.

I loved the fish cakes, beef, and chicken katsu the best. The beef was flavorful and I loved the texture of the chicken katsu. I really liked the corn and melted cheese on the side. Also the banchan on the side were tasty too. There were so many options to choose from since it came with so much, I liked it. Everything was delicious.

We had a good experience here and it's great to share hot plates if you have a small group.“

This is the cheapest Korean place I’ve been to in Richmond, and I’ll definitely be coming back. “Great spot for lunch in Burnaby, super delicious every time. Vegetables taste fresh and the rice is cooked to perfection.

I recommend sizing up every time, it's worth it. The tofu rice bowl with avocado is a great option for vegans, just ask for spicy sauce instead of the regular creamy sauce.

Really affordable and great value. I've only done take out here, so I can't speak to the atmosphere, but when we ordered for a large group they were really accommodating with all requests.

I would caution sometimes their hours are irregular and they cancel online orders last minute.

It was a shame that there weren't many Korean restaurants near Edmonds, but it's a delicious place that's just right without being salty :) This place is run by the owner of Angel Food, which is famous for its cost-effectiveness and taste in Lougheed! All of the leftovers are delicious, and the ‘Han Sang’ menu is really good value for money (first of all, the taste is basically guaranteed). Although the menu changes every day, it’s a shame that I can’t eat the menu on other days, but I think I’ll come here more often! It's not a review event at all. “This is my go-to place whenever I miss Korean food. The owner is so friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. The bibimbap, in particular, is amazing, and the atmosphere is great too. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, so I’m always satisfied. Since the owner is Korean, it really feels like I’m having a meal back home. The location is convenient and easy to find, so I visit often.“

“Seen many Korean street side chicken places on You Tube. Decided to give this a try for the first time . Went to the location on Canada Way. Ordered the family Sweet Soy Chicken & Fries Took awhile to prepare the food (15 mins) No wonder ,huge amount of chicken box was packed full. Large pieces very flavorful, not greasy at all like Churches grease feast j chicken . Fries were amazing .I found a new go to place to buy chicken for a game . A tad pricey, buy I assure you very well worth the money . If this place franchises, they will give KFC & Churches very serious condition . My first time there , highly impressed. I highly recommended you try this. Will not be disappointed. Very pleasant staff. Simple decor, but the service & food will amaze you . Thank you so very much for an amazing meal. “Went here for sunday lunch and it didnt disappoint. No wait, we were seated right away. Took long to take our order but once she took it, everything came quick. Ordered the Hapnam set and deep fried mandus and these were more than enough for 3 people. We even had some leftovers. The food was very tasty, and unlike in other korean BBQ places, they cook the meat for you at Sooda. It was great but also awkward to have someone standing beside you cooking. We wouldnt have minded cooking the meat ourselves. The marinade of the meat was tasty but not overwhelming, just right. The kimchi was not as expected but still good .it wasnt spicy, barely had spice, and it wasnt fermented either. When we asked for more, we had to wait because they were still making it. Its ok if you dont mind it un- fermented. Different but good experience overall.“

“The kimchi and kimchi that came as a side dish was really crazy. It's torn into long strips to make it easier to eat. It was so delicious that my companion and I refilled it. We also heard that they sell it separately (in one container for $20 before tax), so we bought it. The main menu was okay, but the kimchi was really delicious. Thier house made kimchi served as a side dish is the best one I had in Canada. Sweet and spicy. and cut well enough to eat. We had to ask for a refill as we loved it so much. Service and taste are everything!
At first, I went to drink soju with a friend.
For snacks, I ordered tofu cheese salad, pork cutlet, and grilled pollack roe.
But everything was so delicious and the owner was friendly, so I went for drinks a few times after that.
Whenever I want to eat Korean food, I order takeout or delivery, and I was impressed after eating "Kimchi Jjigae" ??
It was much more delicious than the kimchi stew I had in Korea. The depth of the soup was different.. The quality of the meat was also good.
I'm sad that I'm leaving Vancouver soon.
If I had known about Lorimomo a little earlier, I would have gone more often.
I recommend all the menu items I've tried: kimchi stew, Namsan pork cutlet, kimchi oden udon, and tofu cheese salad??“

“The owner is very friendly and explains very well the different options. Food is tasty but the serving amount could be bigger. Notice that if you're not used to spicy(hot) food even the food that the owner claims is not spicy at all will be very spicy for you.“

“Have been to this location many times and the chicken is always consistently juicy and fresh.I got the half and half; soy garlic and yangnyeom fried chicken with shake fries. The portion of the fries was quite little so I recommend skipping those. But the chicken portion is pretty decent.“

“This is by far my favorite food truck but I go out of my way to come to its location during work hours and it's rarely ever there! Unfortunately my lunch break is not earlier in your hours so I generally get there around 1:15 or 1:20 and by that point you either were never there at all or you've left early. It's very frustrating to come all of that way so many times and not get to eat there.“

I guess the 4 ppl they had in mind were 6'4", 250 lbs linebackers in the middle of the season who need to eat 4000 calories a day.
