“Went here with my family, and another family and we all got the all-you-can-eat menu. I wouldn’t say my kids are picky, but they like certain things and it’s hard to get them to try newer foods. But, they loved this place! The restaurant itself is small, but clean. The drop down exhaust vents helps to keep the cooking smell to a minimum. The food itself was amazing! And the service was top notch. My son even told me that we needed to give our server a great tip. We definitely ate our fair share and I believe we got our money’s worth. Will definitely be back here!“

We got the Yangyeom, Cheese Snow and Soy Garlic flavors based on the staff’s recommendation since they said those were the most popular, and they did not disappoint. All of them were amazing. What made the experience even better was the service. We came during rush hour, but the staff were still so friendly, patient, and helpful in suggesting what to order. They took the time to help us choose, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Definitely recommend this place.“

“Business is located on the main floor of the Plaza of New Westminster Skytrain Station, towards the western section of the complex by the overpass to the Quay.

My purchases has mostly been the original chicken and some variations. The pieces are large enough, not too much breading. Am also mostly a take out customer by ordering in advance, and hence do not stay within the business that long.

There are roughly 6 tables available for dining with ample chairs should you decide to eat, however typically only see people waiting for their order.

The staff are friendly and helpful, advise of your order and it is given once ready.

“Food is delicious. Portion size is generous even for the regular size bowl. Staff is always friendly. Orders are always fulfilled fast even in the peak hours. They have reserved parking outside which is great for a fast pickup. I work few minutes away and ordered for pick up few times already - sometimes for me or for the team at the office. Ordered two bbq meat (seasoned rib finger & marinated prime beef rib), spicy soy garlic chicken.

Overall was a good experience for us. Service was quick. Banchan refill were quickly delivered upon request.

The bbq meat, like many bbq Korean joint, determined by how you cooked it.

Spicy soy garlic was good.

Price is on the higher end (expensive).

Men’s toilet was clean.

No music played at premises so patrons can talk easily.“

“Every order is made fresh, so you might be in for a 10-20 minute wait, but boy is it ever worth it!

The Crispy Chicken Sandwich: Very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Great flavour, not greasy. Perfectly seasoned. Made with whole meat chicken breast. I had to squish down the sandwich to get it in my mouth. Good quality bun and the lettuce leaf was crisp. I suspect they might be using an egg-yolk only mayo as it tasted rich. I really liked that.

The bacon cheeseburger with extra patty: Deliciously smashed with a great crust, perfect seasoning and juicy. It was a little messy but so good! Good quality bun and the lettuce leaf was crisp.

The fries were piping hot with a crispy battered exterior and fluffy interior. Remained crispy even after cooling down.

Original Korean Fried Chicken (small): Made with boneless-skinless chicken thighs, this was also juicy too and very crispy on the outside.

Every fried item had a clean fresh flavour, so you can tell their oil isn’t old.

The tables and chairs were clean and arranged neatly. Lots of seating options. The place looked like a family run restaurant with nice touches of flowers at the entrance, in the windows and on the walls.

It’s a hidden gem, so I’m glad google maps and the sandwich board sign helped me find the restaurant! The door faces the street and you have to walk to the NW corner of the building, as it’s not obvious.

The staff were friendly and very good at what they did and I would 100% recommend this place and go back in the future.“

I understand there are operating costs, but why pass those costs on to the customer? Online ordering benefits both the restaurant and the customer, so the additional charge feels unnecessary.“

“Saw this shop on TikTok and despite how far it was, I wanted to try it in high hopes.

Ordered a tteokboki + bulgogi kimbap combo for $18.50 and a japchae + moon kimbap combo for $13.50. The prices are pretty good for how good the food is.

I'm really satisfied in the spice level of the tteokboki because I usually can't have my food too spicy. But this was perfect as I could eat several pieces without a break.

The japchae was perfectly seasoned. Not too sweet and not too salty. The kimbap was really high in quality and the ingredients were fresh.

I also really liked the pickled cabbage. It was a nice palette cleanser.

My boyfriend really enjoyed the soup the combo came with. He even had my portion lol!“

“I’ve been here several times and it’s always been fantastic, however I do not recommend coming with a large group.

The food has always been delicious and drinks are good too, but the service was horrendous for a larger group. It took forever to get any service, staff would make eye contact with us when we tried to wave them over, and then just ignore us. There were a lot of staff available just loitering around the bar area and did not come to our aid.

It took a very long time for us to get our bills, and when they finally took it they charged many of us twice or even thrice. Some of us tried to tell the waitress that the first transaction went through, but they insisted we pay again because they got an error on their end. Just a reminder to maybe check your bank statement after to make sure this didn’t happen to you. I don’t think it was on purpose, but still frustrating to deal with.

Other than that the food was delicious. Sooda box remains one of my fav dishes and their cheese corn is great.“

“Amazing quality for such an unbelievably affordable price!
The kimbap rice was perfectly cooked not too soft or mushy and each roll was generously filled with a variety of ingredients, making every bite delicious and satisfying. The tteokbokki had a great chewy texture, and the sauce was flavorful without being overwhelmingly spicy, pairing perfectly with the kimbap.
Highly recommend the Tuna Chili Kimbap and the Deep Fried Shrimp Kimbap! Will definitely be coming back again“

I came to Chibop after discovering their vegan ramyeon combo, and I was so excited to see a Korean restaurant with a dedicated plant-based section on the menu! 🌱💚 They even sell vegan kimchi — which honestly made my vegan heart very happy. 🥹

I ordered the combo with:

🍜 Ra-myeon — 100% plant-based broth with noodles, onions, and green onions.
🥢 Spinach Vegan Kimbap — spinach, cucumber, carrots, yellow pickled radish, bell peppers, burdock, and savory seasoned tofu.

At first, I wondered if I was being a little ambitious ordering both.
😂 But the fresh veggie kimbap was surprisingly light and easy to eat, and the ramen bowl looked a little smaller than I expected (compared to the photos 😉), so thankfully I was able to finish everything. 😋

Bonus points: they were playing K-pop songs while I enjoyed my meal. 🎶✨ A vegan Korean meal with K-pop in the background? Yes please. 😂

“We visited with our family on Mother’s Day, and it was honestly the best choice we could have made. The service was incredibly fast and friendly, and every dish we ordered was amazing.

The Yuringi was absolutely outstanding, perfectly crispy with an incredible sauce balance. It’s honestly so hard to find this level of Yuringi in Vancouver. I heard the chef recently came from Korea, and the quality of the food is truly on another level.

The baby octopus jjamppong was also unforgettable: rich, flavorful, and packed with smoky wok aroma. Everything tasted authentic and carefully made. We’ll definitely be coming back again!“

“If I could give Galbi Korean BBQ 6 stars, I would.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We went on a Sunday night and expected a wait, it was about 45 minutes but absolutely worth it. We ordered the Chef’s BBQ Combo D, and it was more than enough for all of us to leave completely full. They continuously refilled our sides and sauces, so we were never without anything. Everything felt clean, organized, and really well run.

My personal favourites were the marinated beef short rib, the fresh salad, bean paste soup, scallion salad, and the cheesy corn — all so flavourful and perfectly done.

This is hands down one of the best spots to come with your partner or a group, where you can relax, cook together, and actually enjoy the experience as much as the food. We’ll 100% be coming back. 🔥🥩“

The lunch special that included the assorted marinated seafood, raw fish salad, cockles and rice, cod stew, grilled mackerel, and stone pot rice was fantastic value and it could easily feed 3 people. I came for my birthday and while they do not offer anything special for birthday patrons, they did offer me a drink and the kind service plus delicious fresh and authentic food made the meal really special. Generous portions and especially their katsu is amazinggg goes well with their cold spicy noodle! I even ordered a jumbo katsu for to go to cook my own katsu curry and katsu donburi at home. It was soooo good!

“It was my first time coming to OZ Korean BBQ. They had really good authentic Korean food. The server Jinnie was very sweet, kind and super respectful and made me feel welcomed as it was my first time here and I couldn’t have felt happier to have her as my waiter. It’s a great spot to come and study because the ambience and vibe is super chill and plays very mellow Korea music. I had a great conversation with Jinnie even after the restaurant closed. “I would like to review Tokki restaurant in the Henderson mall food court. I've been here more than 10 times, I love their Jjolmyun.
This time I ordered Jjolmyun and chicken curry.
Jjolmyun: it's maybe the best jjolmyun in Vancouer. The balance of cabbage, noodle, sauce with other condiments is just perfect. This is 10/10
Chicken curry: my wife ordered it for her dinner. Curry was rich and chicken katsu was well-fried. I had a bite and I also liked it. This is probably for my children when I visit again.
Overall, I wish I live around here and come 3 times a week. I definitely recommend to everyone.“

My absolute favourites are the Creamy Onion and Green Onion flavours. The creamy onion is rich without being too heavy, while the green onion adds a fresh, savoury kick that pairs perfectly with the crispy chicken.“

“Unfortunately, the customer service has been consistently disappointing. The lady at the cashier is never friendly to my husband and me. During our last visit, I noticed she was very nice to the customer in front of us, but when it was our turn, she was rude again. I'm not sure if this is only toward non-Asian customers, but it has happened to us repeatedly.

That said, the food is excellent. We always order the fried chicken from here, and it has been amazing every single time. The quality and taste are consistently great, which is the only reason we've kept coming back.
