This is a NEW and DELICIOUS authentic Korean restaurant located in Coquitlam. We ordered Yook Gae Jang (spicy beef soup) and Osam bulgogi (marinated squid and pork belly). Both dishes were tasty and we felt like we were eating them as if they were cooked from home. Also, the waitresses were pleasant and attentive, providing excellent service to customers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to dine in for authentic Korean food!
It was my friend's birthday yesterday, so I made a reservation at Koreana and had a birthday party with 9 people. I ordered and ate pork cutlet, raw fish, steamed monkfish, and rice cake. It was delicious, plentiful, and a great dining experience. In particular, the servers were very friendly, and when we prepared the cake, they provided us with plates and knives so we could eat the cake comfortably. I was really craving altang, so I was looking for it and came across a place here, so I had it delivered! I was worried because I had never tried it before in Vancouver, but it was so delicious because it had plenty of roe, radish, tofu, and vegetables, and most of all, the seasoning was spicy!! The pickled onions are also delicious. Next time, I'm going to try the steamed monkfish.
