I was really craving altang, so I was looking for it and came across a place here, so I had it delivered! I was worried because I had never tried it before in Vancouver, but it was so delicious because it had plenty of roe, radish, tofu, and vegetables, and most of all, the seasoning was spicy!! The pickled onions are also delicious. Next time, I'm going to try the steamed monkfish.

This is a NEW and DELICIOUS authentic Korean restaurant located in Coquitlam. We ordered Yook Gae Jang (spicy beef soup) and Osam bulgogi (marinated squid and pork belly). Both dishes were tasty and we felt like we were eating them as if they were cooked from home. Also, the waitresses were pleasant and attentive, providing excellent service to customers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to dine in for authentic Korean food!

It was my friend's birthday yesterday, so I made a reservation at Koreana and had a birthday party with 9 people. I ordered and ate pork cutlet, raw fish, steamed monkfish, and rice cake. It was delicious, plentiful, and a great dining experience. In particular, the servers were very friendly, and when we prepared the cake, they provided us with plates and knives so we could eat the cake comfortably. Not all, but some Korean restaurants often provide it reluctantly or refuse to provide it, so we asked cautiously, and they provided it very kindly, so we were really impressed. I've always been a fan of raw fish soup, but this time I ate it at Koreana. It tasted much better than when I submitted it, perhaps because it was presented beautifully in a bowl. The braised monkfish was really delicious and spicy, and a friend who didn't know why he usually eats braised monkfish tried the Koreana monkfish stew once and said, "Wow, this is so addictive and delicious that I keep reaching for it?!" He didn't stop holding his chopsticks. And the amount of steamed monkfish was huge, so I was really satisfied with the price. I would like to thank all the staff working at Koreana who made our meeting more enjoyable with friendly service and delicious food! Thank you!

Yesterday, I visited with friends and ordered half and half chicken and monkfish stew. The steamed monkfish was delicious. However, too much starch was added and the bean sprouts were so dead that you couldn't feel the crunchy texture, but it was delicious.I ordered half and half chicken. The chicken was the worst I've ever tasted in my life, it was too salty and covered in scum with almost no meat.?There is no crunchiness and it is too hard.?All 5 people spoke with the same thoughts. There were 5 of us and we left the chicken behind.I think I should either remove it from the menu or learn the chicken recipe... I will never order chicken from here again.??Ps: (We didn't ask the staff to try the chicken.....I regret that I just left without saying my complaint.

First time trying, we ordered the fried squid and beef bone soup w ox kneeTaste 0.5/1*Fried squid was over cooked, quite dark with a bitter tasteBone soup was creamy and watery at the same time, lack of depth, wife liked the fact that they don’t season it, but instead gives you side of S&PValue 0.5/1*For $19.95 was expecting a larger bowl of soup not gonna lieSpeed 1/1*Order was prep’s & received on timePresentation 1/1*Delivered well, presentation on point, always appreciate being able to eat with eyes firstOverall/Revisit 0/1*Personally think there’s many better choices of Korean food at this price, even just in the same areaAbove and beyond? 0/+1*A side note: we originally wanted some spicy stir fry pork, but there’s no option to order that as a dish, only on top of rice…

Good food, good service. Had a hot pot (small size for two people) and the fried chicken half/half. Could have fed 3-4. We will be back!

I ordered the monkfish stew and it looked like they had leftover ingredients added. As you can see in the picture, there were a few pieces of leftover bone fragments mixed in, and the rest were bean sprouts. It was difficult to find monkfish meat. I asked the staff and they said the number of grams was the same as before, but they must have made it with bones. I didn't eat the photo below, I just went in here. It’s steamed bean sprouts that cost over $60 (tax/tip included)!
