“This is a friendly and casual neighborhood k-bbq spot! They have great set menus with lots of variety, great happy hour discounts, and the staff are always friendly. They always have fun kpop music playing in the background. We come here about twice per month and will keep coming for the great bbq sets. If there's a lineup, we just go over to bbq-chicken next door for a beer while we wait.“

“This gem is a must try! The restaurant is a bit small but the food is pretty darn good. We loved everything from bibimbap, kimbap and most of all we loved the carbonara. Never thought we would enjoy carbonara in a Korean place but the chef apparently specialized in Italian cuisine in Korea. Daniel the chef is a genuinely nice guy and great with my toddler. Will come back again. I highly recommend this place!“

“The kimbap is quite tasty, large and has a great amount of filling! Very satisfied. I got the spicy kimbap and it was great! The side dish of tteobokki was also quite good as well and came with the combo meal set. Nice little Korean kimbap place in Burnaby Coquitlam and it’s worth checking out!“

“We visited with our family on Mother’s Day, and it was honestly the best choice we could have made. The service was incredibly fast and friendly, and every dish we ordered was amazing.
The Yuringi was absolutely outstanding, perfectly crispy with an incredible sauce balance. It’s honestly so hard to find this level of Yuringi in Vancouver. I heard the chef recently came from Korea, and the quality of the food is truly on another level.
The baby octopus jjamppong was also unforgettable: rich, flavorful, and packed with smoky wok aroma. Everything tasted authentic and carefully made. We’ll definitely be coming back again!“

“We came here for dinner last night and honestly can’t believe it wasn't busier. The dishes are unique and packed with flavour, stepping outside the box of standard traditional Korean fare to offer something genuinely exciting and fresh.“

“Tried the plain fried chicken, fried very well, crispy outside and juicy inside, and not greasy at all. It could use a bit more seasoning in the marinade to boost the flavor.
Take-out only, and the staff were very polite and friendly.“

“I came here with my friends and I the other day and Sorah and Jess really made our experience memorable. They checked in on us throughout the meal and really made us comfortable.
What stood out the most was also how good the food was, especially the gamjatang, it was my favourite dish out of everything we ordered, I really recommend coming here“

“It was my first time coming to OZ Korean BBQ. They had really good authentic Korean food. The server Jinnie was very sweet, kind and super respectful and made me feel welcomed as it was my first time here and I couldn’t have felt happier to have her as my waiter. It’s a great spot to come and study because the ambience and vibe is super chill and plays very mellow Korea music. I had a great conversation with Jinnie even after the restaurant closed. It was sweet of Jinnie to let me stay and chat with her for a bit before leaving. I’ll definitely be coming back here to study and eat more delicious and authentic foods!!“

“I would like to review Tokki restaurant in the Henderson mall food court. I've been here more than 10 times, I love their Jjolmyun.
This time I ordered Jjolmyun and chicken curry.
Jjolmyun: it's maybe the best jjolmyun in Vancouer. The balance of cabbage, noodle, sauce with other condiments is just perfect. This is 10/10
Chicken curry: my wife ordered it for her dinner. Curry was rich and chicken katsu was well-fried. I had a bite and I also liked it. This is probably for my children when I visit again.
Overall, I wish I live around here and come 3 times a week. I definitely recommend to everyone.“

“I come to this restaurant often. I’ve had steamed monkfish at other places, but it’s the best here because it has plenty of thick, meaty pieces. I also used to like their fried flounder, but one time it had an old oil smell, so I haven’t ordered it again since.“
“We has always walked by this restaurant, decided to give it a try.
You order at the table electronic menu, server was very friendly & helpful. My girlfriend can only have chicken, we asked the server whether the kitchen can accommodate her preference. A definite “Yes”, she ordered Bulgogi ( instead of beef, they sub it with chicken). She enjoyed the meal very much!
I had my favourite “Soon dubu Jigae “ with beef - a stew with veggies, beef & soft tofu. It was yummylicious, next time, I will have to order it spicy! Hubby had his favourite cold noodles with pork collar.
Service & food was good, lunchtime on a weekday got very crowded, lots of people ordered the BBQ set for lunch special.
We will be back!“

“The beef bone soup tastes good. It is tasty with chewable beef.
Scallion fried chicken is yummy, crispy but not greasy outside, juicy inside.
Bibimbap is also good with a refreshing after taste.
Pig’s trotter is well marinated, but it’s a bit spicy for me. It’s still yummy.
The server is polite, wearing smile.
I think I will go back again. And the appetisers were refilled generously.“

“Been here recently: Everything still seems to be the same under new management
- Jajangmeon tasted great
- Shrimp Fried Rice was just how I liked it
- Tangsuyuk portion was massive!
- Deepfried Dumplings had the perfect crunch
- Half/Half steamed dumplings, delicious!
*Although the Tangsuyuk sauce tasted great, the sauce was not thick and quite watery*“

“I heard jajangmyeon is really good here, so I ordered it to go and it was amazing. The noodles didn’t get soggy at all and I really enjoyed it. I also got tangsuyuk and it was crispy and tender! I live in Seattle, but if I lived in Vancouver I would definitely come here often!“

“This place is niche: if you are adventurous, or enjoy organ meats, you will like this place. I came from the north part of China, and the organ stew had a very nostalgic taste and excellent texture. I liked they are doing something different with their rice. I also recommend the head cheese platter to go along with the stew.“

“This charming Korean restaurant has been around for over twenty years, offering delicious traditional dishes like deep-fried pork, black bean noodles, and seafood noodles. They serve generous portions that are perfect for sharing. If you find yourself nearby, it's definitely worth giving it a try! Good for take-out.“

“One of the frequently asked questions in any city is simple, where do you eat when you want something honest?
Out in Coquitlam’s Hanin Village, surrounded by one of the Lower Mainland’s best Korean food scenes, sits Wang Ga Ma warm lights, comforting aromas, and the kind of place that reminds you food is supposed to heal something in you.
The dining room carries a quiet charm. Cultural artwork lines the walls, the staff move with effortless hospitality, and there’s no pretension to any of it. It feels lived in. Familiar. Like the restaurant has been waiting for you to come in from the rain.
Then the food arrives.
The yukgaejang comes out fierce and unapologetic deep, savory, rich with heat and soul. The seafood tofu soup bubbles at the table like it’s still alive, carrying that unmistakable warmth that crawls into your chest on a cold day. Add a spoonful of rice, some complimentary kimchi on the side, and suddenly the outside world matters a little less for a while.
This is comfort food in the way comfort food is supposed to work generous portions, bold flavor, no unnecessary theatrics.
And honestly, next time I come back, I’m ordering a cold beer with it. Because meals like this deserve one.
What makes Wang Ga Ma stand out isn’t just affordability though it absolutely is budget friendly it’s the feeling that nobody here is trying to impress you. They’re just trying to feed you well. Sometimes that’s all you need“

“Pretty good Korean barbecue. We ordered a set menu for six.
The meats were pretty tasty. Well marinated and cooked well.
The side dishes were good, tofu soup, noodles, seafood pancake all pretty delicious.
Overall, a good Korean spot in burnaby and Coquitlam for Korean barbecue. Would come back again.“
