“This is not a paid/sponsored review. Our second visit - Jul 18’26. I didn’t write a review for my first visit. We arrived around 1 pm. Not much patrons.

Ordered two bbq meat (seasoned rib finger & marinated prime beef rib), spicy soy garlic chicken.

Overall was a good experience for us. Service was quick. Banchan refill were quickly delivered upon request.

The bbq meat, like many bbq Korean joint, determined by how you cooked it.

Spicy soy garlic was good.

Price is on the higher end (expensive).

Men’s toilet was clean.

No music played at premises so patrons can talk easily.“

“The food and staff are always great, with no complaints there. My only issue is the extra fee for ordering through their own website. I understand there are operating costs, but why pass those costs on to the customer? Online ordering benefits both the restaurant and the customer, so the additional charge feels unnecessary.“

“I have a soft spot for the chicken cutlet, since I always get it with my uncle, but their other food is delicious too. I especially like their kalbitang and my aunt is a fan of their omurice. Service is also always nice and the restaurant is quaint ^^“

“BEST BREAKFAST EVER!!!! I always order the Bulgogi Benney (Korean beef Benedict) INSANELY DELICIOUS! Fast and friendly service EVERY TIME. Anytime we are in town, we make a point of having breakfast here. It is a MUST!“

“I enjoy bao buns and the angry chicken bao is phenomenal. I would recommend trying this place as it is tucked in a corner, but the korean fried chicken is very good and the bao is great. The bao bun is soft and fluffy and the sauce on the chicken has a nice flavour. It is mostly a takeout place, meaning it is grab and go, but the staff has always been very nice.“

“We visited with our family on Mother’s Day, and it was honestly the best choice we could have made. The service was incredibly fast and friendly, and every dish we ordered was amazing.

The Yuringi was absolutely outstanding, perfectly crispy with an incredible sauce balance. It’s honestly so hard to find this level of Yuringi in Vancouver. I heard the chef recently came from Korea, and the quality of the food is truly on another level.

The baby octopus jjamppong was also unforgettable: rich, flavorful, and packed with smoky wok aroma. Everything tasted authentic and carefully made. We’ll definitely be coming back again!“

“We came here for dinner last night and honestly can’t believe it wasn't busier. The dishes are unique and packed with flavour, stepping outside the box of standard traditional Korean fare to offer something genuinely exciting and fresh.“

My only concern was that this place was slightly hidden, hard to see from outside. The staff that served me didn’t quite get what i was asking from the menu but not a deal breaker nor a major thing. Overall, i can only speak highly of the food which was amazing.“

“The food was delicious, but the male staff member who worked today was really kind. It was a day that made me feel even better than the taste. If there are staff like that in the future, I think I would visit again. It was a day that made me realize just how important friendly service is, even with the same food.“

“I came here with my friends and I the other day and Sorah and Jess really made our experience memorable. They checked in on us throughout the meal and really made us comfortable.
What stood out the most was also how good the food was, especially the gamjatang, it was my favourite dish out of everything we ordered, I really recommend coming here“

“It was my first time coming to OZ Korean BBQ. They had really good authentic Korean food. The server Jinnie was very sweet, kind and super respectful and made me feel welcomed as it was my first time here and I couldn’t have felt happier to have her as my waiter. It’s a great spot to come and study because the ambience and vibe is super chill and plays very mellow Korea music. I had a great conversation with Jinnie even after the restaurant closed. It was sweet of Jinnie to let me stay and chat with her for a bit before leaving. I’ll definitely be coming back here to study and eat more delicious and authentic foods!!“

“I would like to review Tokki restaurant in the Henderson mall food court. I've been here more than 10 times, I love their Jjolmyun.
This time I ordered Jjolmyun and chicken curry.
Jjolmyun: it's maybe the best jjolmyun in Vancouer. The balance of cabbage, noodle, sauce with other condiments is just perfect. This is 10/10
Chicken curry: my wife ordered it for her dinner. Curry was rich and chicken katsu was well-fried. I had a bite and I also liked it. This is probably for my children when I visit again.
Overall, I wish I live around here and come 3 times a week. I definitely recommend to everyone.“

“Been here recently: Everything still seems to be the same under new management
- Jajangmeon tasted great
- Shrimp Fried Rice was just how I liked it
- Tangsuyuk portion was massive!
- Deepfried Dumplings had the perfect crunch
- Half/Half steamed dumplings, delicious!
*Although the Tangsuyuk sauce tasted great, the sauce was not thick and quite watery*“

“We ordered a couple of drinking dishes: fried rex sole and mussels soup. Both came outstanding. We also had the sashimi bibim bop and fish roe soup. All tasted great.
Only improvements I can name is better bonchon, and nicer ambiance. The room felt crowded and plain.“

“Not a trendy place, but super homey. Really nice to find authentic Korean food that’s casual and no fuss in the area. There were a lot of older regulars eating there, which felt like a good sign. I got the spicy pork bone soup (gamjatang) and it was really good. I’d definitely come back to try other dishes.“

“We has always walked by this restaurant, decided to give it a try.
You order at the table electronic menu, server was very friendly & helpful. My girlfriend can only have chicken, we asked the server whether the kitchen can accommodate her preference. A definite “Yes”, she ordered Bulgogi ( instead of beef, they sub it with chicken). She enjoyed the meal very much!
I had my favourite “Soon dubu Jigae “ with beef - a stew with veggies, beef & soft tofu. It was yummylicious, next time, I will have to order it spicy! Hubby had his favourite cold noodles with pork collar.
Service & food was good, lunchtime on a weekday got very crowded, lots of people ordered the BBQ set for lunch special.

“Among Korean-Chinese restaurants in Burnaby, which often leave a little to be desired, this place is the most satisfying.
I can proudly call myself a loyal regular! I’m always so busy eating that I forget to take photos. The service is friendly, and the food quality is consistently good. It's slightly on the saltier side, but overall a solid dining experience. I’d recommend No. 19 and the small Tangsu-yuk for two people. However, the current Tangsu-yuk has too much batter, so I’d love to see a premium option packed with thick, meaty cuts even at a higher price point!“

“My gf and I ate at South Castle Korean Restaurant and it was honestly so, so good. We ordered the kalbi tang and meoritgogi, and the flavors were exactly what we’ve been looking for.

We’re from a Southeast Asian background, so we really love rich, well-seasoned, umami-flavored food, and the soup absolutely delivered. It had so much depth of flavor without being overly salty just perfectly balanced and comforting.

The portions and pricing were great too. Definitely one of the best Korean meals we’ve had in a while and we’ll for sure be coming back.“

We loved the marinated potato banchan so much we requested a refill, and the staff kindly gave us extra helpings. The crispy sweet sour fried chicken is super tasty, and jjajangmyeon hits authentic traditional flavour. We’ve visited multiple times, totally satisfied and will definitely come back again soon.“

“This branch is good, made fresh to order. The interior used to not have many seating and now they do, which is great. This plaza has only a few food places to choose from and it’s a good variety but for this size of a plaza it’s less. The combos are tasty. Ordered their new chicken burger promo, the burger for the price is a bit smaller. However it was freshly made and hot. Nice staff team!“

“The food is really tasty, even though I have only tried the bulgogi. The staff are really nice and I had no problems eating there. Ever since I first came here, I thought it was really clever how there is a mirror for a wall to make it seem bigger using the small space. The paintings around are also very nice. I go whenever I have a special family occasion.“
