We stopped by for a snack and tried the “keto” kimbap with tuna and it was delicious - you don’t miss the rice at all. “This gem is a must try! The restaurant is a bit small but the food is pretty darn good. We loved everything from bibimbap, kimbap and most of all we loved the carbonara. Never thought we would enjoy carbonara in a Korean place but the chef apparently specialized in Italian cuisine in Korea. Daniel the chef is a genuinely nice guy and great with my toddler. Will come back again. I highly recommend this place!“

“It was my first time coming to OZ Korean BBQ. They had really good authentic Korean food. The server Jinnie was very sweet, kind and super respectful and made me feel welcomed as it was my first time here and I couldn’t have felt happier to have her as my waiter. It’s a great spot to come and study because the ambience and vibe is super chill and plays very mellow Korea music. I had a great conversation with Jinnie even after the restaurant closed. “My boyfriend and I have been coming to Deji Pork Cutlet House since we first started dating six years ago. It’s been our favourite spot since.

The kimchi fried rice is hands down the best I’ve ever had. I actually tried to find something similar while traveling through Korea, and nothing even came close. The kimchi pork cutlet with cheese and spicy sauce is our go-to comfort meal. The kimchi stew is another standout for us. super thick, tangy, and incredibly satisfying, especially on a cold day. I’ve ordered it takeout so many times to my work halfway across town, and it’s always filling and such a great price.

Even the spicy macaroni, which you wouldn’t expect, is amazing, I absolutely love it.

But what really makes this place special is the owners. They are such kind, genuine people. Even though I don’t speak Korean, I love listening to my boyfriend chat with them, and they always take the time to check in and make us feel so welcome. It’s rare to find a place that feels this personal and warm. ❤️

I even spent one of my birthdays here, and the owners surprised me with a gift. That moment alone says everything about the kind of people they are.

This place has such a special spot in my heart. Incredible food, comforting meals, and truly wonderful people. I can’t recommend it enough.“

“I would like to review Tokki restaurant in the Henderson mall food court. I've been here more than 10 times, I love their Jjolmyun.
This time I ordered Jjolmyun and chicken curry.
Jjolmyun: it's maybe the best jjolmyun in Vancouer. The balance of cabbage, noodle, sauce with other condiments is just perfect. This is 10/10
Chicken curry: my wife ordered it for her dinner. Curry was rich and chicken katsu was well-fried. I had a bite and I also liked it. This is probably for my children when I visit again.
Overall, I wish I live around here and come 3 times a week. I definitely recommend to everyone.“

“I come to this restaurant often. I’ve had steamed monkfish at other places, but it’s the best here because it has plenty of thick, meaty pieces. I also used to like their fried flounder, but one time it had an old oil smell, so I haven’t ordered it again since.“

Pig’s trotter is well marinated, but it’s a bit spicy for me. It’s still yummy.
The server is polite, wearing smile.

“We has always walked by this restaurant, decided to give it a try.
You order at the table electronic menu, server was very friendly & helpful. My girlfriend can only have chicken, we asked the server whether the kitchen can accommodate her preference. A definite “Yes”, she ordered Bulgogi ( instead of beef, they sub it with chicken). She enjoyed the meal very much!
I had my favourite “Soon dubu Jigae “ with beef - a stew with veggies, beef & soft tofu. It was yummylicious, next time, I will have to order it spicy! Hubby had his favourite cold noodles with pork collar.
Service & food was good, lunchtime on a weekday got very crowded, lots of people ordered the BBQ set for lunch special.

“Not a trendy place, but super homey. Really nice to find authentic Korean food that’s casual and no fuss in the area. There were a lot of older regulars eating there, which felt like a good sign. I got the spicy pork bone soup (gamjatang) and it was really good. I’d definitely come back to try other dishes.“

“This branch is good, made fresh to order. The interior used to not have many seating and now they do, which is great. This plaza has only a few food places to choose from and it’s a good variety but for this size of a plaza it’s less. The combos are tasty. “My gf and I ate at South Castle Korean Restaurant and it was honestly so, so good. We ordered the kalbi tang and meoritgogi, and the flavors were exactly what we’ve been looking for.

We’re from a Southeast Asian background, so we really love rich, well-seasoned, umami-flavored food, and the soup absolutely delivered. It had so much depth of flavor without being overly salty just perfectly balanced and comforting.

The portions and pricing were great too. Definitely one of the best Korean meals we’ve had in a while and we’ll for sure be coming back.“

“probably the best kalguksu i’ve ever had. the handmade knife cut noodles are bouncy with a perfect chew. the broth is deep and flavorful. the beef and clams were plentiful. it came with three side dishes which were simple but tasty. they use an ipad to order which is efficient but not much service otherwise from the servers. service is a bit slow as food took some time to arrive however the store was busy. i would come back to try other dishes.“
