“I first tried their food when I visited a church, and OMG, I was seriously blown away!! The meal was SO good that I had to ask my Korean friend where it was from, and they immediately told me about this place.

The flavors were insane, super warm, comforting, and just unforgettable. No joke, it felt like I got a little taste of heaven!! Every bite was hitting, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it afterward.

“After my first order, Ichthus sushi became one of my favorites. I’ve ordered hope combo B, Ebi \\u0026 avo inari and, Hamachi sashimi. All of them were so fresh. The price of the food and the portion size were reasonable and generous. I highly recommend their Ebi \\u0026 avo inari! The combination of shrimps and inari was fantastic. “I'm not usually a fan of fried things, but the original chicken burger was delicious! It basically looked and tasted like a big piece of fried chicken(without bone) in between buns. I also had it with coleslaw and it was perfect!

Be careful when handling because the chicken is so juicy, it drips!

I didn't order a typical combo and wanted to leave out the fries and pop, but the cashier took the time to make sure I got the cheapest deal.

The environment was chill and comfy too.

“Had a really delicious dinner at Toedam! We ordered the King Set ($108) for the family, and we finished everything — the meat was flavorful, tender, and well-seasoned. We also ordered a spicy cold noodle, which was tasty overall, although I found it had a little too little broth.
One tip if you’re ordering for BBQ: I personally wouldn’t recommend the beef short plate here. Since it’s sliced quite thinly, it cooks very quickly and can become dry if you’re not careful. I’d definitely go for thicker cuts for grilling.

Overall was a good experience for us. Service was quick. Banchan refill were quickly delivered upon request.

“I enjoy bao buns and the angry chicken bao is phenomenal. I would recommend trying this place as it is tucked in a corner, but the korean fried chicken is very good and the bao is great. The bao bun is soft and fluffy and the sauce on the chicken has a nice flavour. It is mostly a takeout place, meaning it is grab and go, but the staff has always been very nice.“

“Saw this shop on TikTok and despite how far it was, I wanted to try it in high hopes.

Ordered a tteokboki + bulgogi kimbap combo for $18.50 and a japchae + moon kimbap combo for $13.50. The prices are pretty good for how good the food is.

I'm really satisfied in the spice level of the tteokboki because I usually can't have my food too spicy. But this was perfect as I could eat several pieces without a break.

The japchae was perfectly seasoned. Not too sweet and not too salty. The kimbap was really high in quality and the ingredients were fresh.

I also really liked the pickled cabbage. It was a nice palette cleanser.

My boyfriend really enjoyed the soup the combo came with. He even had my portion lol!“

The kimbap rice was perfectly cooked not too soft or mushy and each roll was generously filled with a variety of ingredients, making every bite delicious and satisfying. The tteokbokki had a great chewy texture, and the sauce was flavorful without being overwhelmingly spicy, pairing perfectly with the kimbap.

“We visited with our family on Mother’s Day, and it was honestly the best choice we could have made. The service was incredibly fast and friendly, and every dish we ordered was amazing.

The Yuringi was absolutely outstanding, perfectly crispy with an incredible sauce balance. It’s honestly so hard to find this level of Yuringi in Vancouver. I heard the chef recently came from Korea, and the quality of the food is truly on another level.

The baby octopus jjamppong was also unforgettable: rich, flavorful, and packed with smoky wok aroma. Everything tasted authentic and carefully made. We’ll definitely be coming back again!“

We also ordered the soymarinated crab and the spicy cold noodles which imo wasnt that spicy but it still tasted pretty good.

The side dishes were a nice plus, really like their kimchi and the staff is so friendly and makes sure to clear any empty plates so its less crowded on the table.

Wife also had the Jjamppong (짬뽕) and it was algo one the best (top 3 around all Vancouver for sure), order it you won’t be disappointed!!
Service was good but we also didn’t come when it was as busy, we came here after 14:00 on a weekday, we have tried many times but it was always full.
We algo got the corn dog, and it was also good, if you are Korean and craving a good one probably this will do, if you aren’t Korean then you will love it!

We algo got the Kimbap (김밥), which is very nice too, a much better than anything you will find in Hannam or H-Mart and cheaper! Order some to go and you will be set!

Prices are not as cheap as you would like, but I’d say they are appropriate!
