“I’d be happy to give this place 10 stars if it were possible! They had the best Korean food my husband and I have ever eaten and we spent most of our adult lives living (and eating) in and around New York City. A small restaurant with a fairly small but absolutely delicious menu and very helpful staff. Don’t miss it!“

“Thought I’d try Chicken 649 as I heard they really good Korean chicken. I ordered the 5 piece daily special, original flavour. A good deal for awesome chicken, crunchy yummy seasoned batter on the outside and tender juicy chicken on the inside. The side potatoes wedges were big, battered & very tasty. The coleslaw was okay. It was a good sized portion and was more than enough for 2-3 people. Oh and they throw in a pop as well. I want to go back and try the other flavours. I highly recommend.“

“My hubby and I went for lunch today, it was our first time there, it won’t be the last. The server was lovely, the place is nicely set out, bathrooms clean. Now to the food, my hubby had the Pork Bulgogi I had the Cheese chicken Bulgogi both dishes were delicious huge portions, YUMALISIOUS with the free popcorn and Daikon.“

“15$ for a beyond greasy burger served on a dry dry bun. Three bites in and I tapped out. Grease was literally running down my wrists. Hubby had the sweet and spicy, dry and stringy…… Will stick to 649 or Thunderbird“

“Absolutely amazing food. The Korean chicken is juicy and tender fried so crispy with a light batter, delicious! The Korean hotdog was fabulous! I didn’t think all those flavors would go together, but they sure did. We stumbled upon this place during a food tour and we have already been back for more of their deliciousness! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!“
