“This place is a hidden gem! Got the pork trotters & pork belly combo to share between three and were really impressed by the quality of the meat! It was not oily at all and was perfectly supple and tender. The waitress was very nice and would offer to refill our appetizers without us asking.“

“A very solid place for good traditional Korean soups. I had the spicy beef soup and was very happy. The place is not trendy and looked to attract a very local crowd. Prices were inline with other Korean restaurants. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other soup selections.“

It's apparent they take pride in their work. The fried chicken looks amazing. I look forward to trying one of their other dishes.
The only less favorable comment I have is only because I'm not a fan of ginger. You could taste the ginger come through in the teriyaki sauce and salad dressing, but not enough to not return. Wonderful restaurant.
UPDATE - I finally tried other dishes, General Tso and Sweet & Sour (at different times). It was so disappointing considering the teriyaki and korean fried chicken is so on point. However, these two dishes, Im not sure chicken was involved. If it was they were scraps of the chicken thighs not used for the teriyaki. I honestly believe these entrees were just all deep fried batter, no chicken. It was so hard to chew and I tasted no chicken. I won't be trying anything else. I paid $20 to eat rice. Hey- you can't be good at everything.“

They serve 3 pieces instead of usual two and looks like there were pan fried which is hard to replicate at home. They serve tons of banchans but in my opinion it is a waste and they should just focus on a few good banchans.“

“Absolute best teriyaki ever. Can be a long wait sometimes but it’s not an issue if you call or order ahead. Huge portions, delicious food. “The seolleongtang here feels like a warm touch of the heart—comforting, authentic, and full of that homemade feeling. The kimchi and radish dishes also taste homemade, which adds another layer of authenticity to the experience.

The menu is quite small, but that’s understandable given the restaurant’s focus on seolleongtang. And honestly, they do what they do very well. The seafood pancake was jeeeeeeeeez delicious. It had a beautiful crispness, was cooked to perfection, and had plenty of seafood spread throughout instead of just a few pieces here and there.

One thing I almost forgot to mention: don’t skip the wasabi with the sauce on the side for the seolleongtang. Adding it to the meat takes the flavor up another notch and really hits the spot.

The interior is modern, clean, and cool. The restaurant itself is also quite spacious and has plenty of seating, so it can accommodate a large number of guests without feeling overly cramped.

The only area that felt inconsistent was the service. It wasn’t that the staff were rude, but the level of attentiveness varied quite a bit. The gentleman with glasses was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always seemed to be on top of everything. He really stood out and made us feel welcomed. On the other hand, the older lady seemed less engaged and gave the impression that she didn’t really want to be there. She still provided the necessary service, but her demeanor made us feel like we were bothering her if we needed anything, so naturally, we found ourselves waiting for the gentleman with glasses instead.

Overall, the food is what makes this place worth visiting. The seolleongtang is comforting and authentic, the homemade-style kimchi and radish are a great touch, and that seafood pancake is something I would definitely order again. With a little more consistency in the service, this could be an even stronger experience.“

“I bought about 10 different things from here, 3 kinds of kimchi and 7 other side dishes and they're all really really good! The veggies are very fresh and perfectly seasoned. I'm not Korean but I've had my fair share of Korean food and I've made my own kimchi for years and a lot of side dishes and entrees as well. But these are so much better than the hundreds of recipes I've tried. She gave me a bonus japchae that also tastes fabulous. I'm so happy I found this place!“

“It was my first time trying grilled intestines like this, and I was honestly a little worried it might have a strong smell, but they cleaned and prepared it really well. When the edges get slightly crispy and charred, it smells amazing, while the inside still stays soft and chewy. It tastes really good with grilled garlic.

The mushrooms were also really good after soaking up all the meat juices from the grill. The yukhoe was easier to eat than I expected too — once mixed with the egg yolk, the texture became really smooth and rich without feeling too heavy.

The atmosphere of the restaurant also felt really cozy, kind of like those small Korean restaurants in K-dramas. The lighting was nice and it wasn’t too loud, so it was a good place to slowly eat and chat with friends at night.“

I got the Huli Huli wrap with grilled chicken, and it was incredibly tender and marinated beautifully. Also tried a bite of my friend’s crispy chicken wrap and loved that as well. “The Seoul Hot Tenders are great, though they are more like Nashville chicken, similar to Dave's Hot Chicken. The burgers are great too, juicy and well sauced/seasoned. However, they are not always consistent; sometimes you would either get dry or skimpy ones.

One thing I really want to mention is that they really are penny-pinching with the amount of sauce they give, so I always need to get an extra. I wish they were more generous, as the sauce is essential with the tenders. Plus, they also occasionally forget the sauces for takeout or delivery, so be aware. They will give you a refund for the sauces if you paid for the extras, but I still would not like this to happen.“

The Korean food here is authentic, flavorful, and so good! We normally order fish egg soup, fried fish, and spicy squid. The banchan is also delicious. The service is great too! I can’t wait to eat here again soon! Try it out for yourself!“

“Their food is delicious and I missed it when I moved to Japan. So the first thing I did when I moved back was get my usual. The lady at the register was helpful and understood what I needed (as far as pointing out the dish I described).
Everything was fine until I went home and noticed a dish missing. I immediately drove back and the same lady that took the order suddenly didn’t know what I was talking about and gave me a “HUH?” I know they’re Korean and they come off a bit strong but she didn’t even apologize afterwards. One of the cook (maybe the owner) came over and explained the situation and said she’ll cook me a new one because apparently, original cashier lady swapped my order with someone else’s. She just brushed me off and the other lady was respectful so I gave it 3 stars. Otherwise I would’ve rated it 5.“

“We tried the all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue at New Gangnam BBQ and had a good experience. Orders are placed through a tablet at the table. Our server asked us to select everything we wanted first and submit it together rather than ordering just a few items at a time.

All the banchan, including the seasoned vegetables, were delicious. We especially enjoyed the marinated LA style Galbi (short ribs), spicy pork, pork belly, shrimp, and scallops. The staff were friendly, and the food was great overall.“
