“The lady at the front counter is very kind and welcoming. The bossam and jokbal were ready in about 10 minutes. While I’ve had better, this place is decent for Seattle. I wish the bossam pieces were smaller and softer, as some were quite large and a bit dry. If I lived here, I would likely return.“

“Quick update: I heard that now the owner has changed. I am updating my review wishing the best for the new owner :)
Previous review:
The server is very RUDE. She will call you up after checkout and comment about the amount of tip you pay. And our order was mixed up too. Highly recommend not to go there.“

“A very solid place for good traditional Korean soups. I had the spicy beef soup and was very happy. The place is not trendy and looked to attract a very local crowd. Prices were inline with other Korean restaurants. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other soup selections.“

“All the food here is outstanding and the restaurant itself reminds me of many places I ate at while I was stationed in Korea. The staff are helpful and courteous, and the banchan is diverse and generous (the meal portions are too). If you love Korean food, this place is absolutely a must try.“

“We catered food from here for our clinic’s annual picnic today! Despite the chilly weather due to the rain, they thoughtfully prepared warm curry in thermal containers and provided food of the highest quality, which deeply touched all our staff and families. Everyone kept asking where the restaurant was and took the business information. Even people passing by in the park asked where we got the catering from! The unagi donburi was top-notch, and the curry, chicken katsu, and shrimp katsu were perfectly crispy. I love their food and service!!“

“Good teriyaki place. Good lunch special, friendly staff and cleanest bathroom I've ever seen in a teriyaki joint. What more to say!
I will add a watch a grumpy lady and her son(?) walk in and snap at her because she couldn't find chicken teriyaki on the menu. The worker was very patient and kind despite how they were treating her. That is a big selling point to me.“

“Some of the best Chinese food I've had in the greater Seattle area. SPECTACULAR. It reminds me of a favorite place i grew up with back east. The taste is exactly what you want, and that fried rice burrito was absolutely fantastic (i needed to break out the gloves to keep my hands clean, though, haha!)“

“This was our first visit to this place. We went around 12:30ish on a sunday and found a table immediately (for 3). Hot tea was served after we sat down. We also got radish kimchi and cabbage kimchi. Both were really good.
Our order included - Brisket sullungtang, dumplings soup, mixed sullungtang.
Unfortunately the seafood pancake is served only after 4 PM.
The soup was a little bland for our taste, but they had sea salt and pepper. After adding some salt, it was very good. They also serve a red chilli paste (it was nice to eat the rice with that paste).
The soup was served steaming hot and until we finished, it was hot. No regret with any of our orders. Service was good too!
Will definitely visit this place to try the others - pancake and tongue sullungtang for sure which we couldn't try earlier.

“Their Korean-inspired Asian fusion burritos are outstanding! I’ve tried almost all of them, but the Flaming Boar is probably my favorite. Fair warning: these burritos are big—enough to share or it will likely become two meals for you! Either way you win.“
“Excellent food. NOTE that it's a market, not dining, and is essentially a TO GO kitchen, much is refrigerated, offering specialty food. Korean side dishes.
I'm not an expert on this cuisine and so I received kind help from the staff.
I bought fresh vegetable side dishes: spicy pickled radish/kimchi dish, sweet slightly hot potato--awesome, a crunchy mung bean dish, and a spinach with garlic dish.
Perfect flavors. No funky dirty vegetables, all carefully prepared and gently seasoned. Will go again.
Served with hot rice --brown rice this time-- at home.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, all first floor“

“What an awesome place! Food was great, service too. Enjoyed barley tea for the first time and absolutely loved the sides that came with our meals. There wasn't a lot of seating but the overall feel of the place was relaxing. Would definitely go again.“

“I had ojingeo-bokkeum on the mind and pulled into the closest Korean restaurant Google maps found: 9292. On the smaller side of many Korean BBQ joints I've eaten at. Came with a friend who had been wanting to try Tteok-bokki for a long while. Service was quick and steady; our food arrived 15 minutes after placing our order. This is my first time having tteok-bokki in my spicy squid stir fry. Not bad at all, just wasn't expecting it. The flavors were typical of ojingeo and I appreciate the amount of squid that was in the dish. Some places like to put a bunch of veggies and you end up with like 4-5 pieces of squid. The cheesy Tteok-bokki was good. My buddy really loved the hell out of it. It was fun watching her eat and gripe about why she hadn't eaten it sooner. Even had some makgeolli. Can't forget the makgeolli!
Overall, not a bad spot.“

“I mean, it's a corndog you know? Always fresh with crispy breading. However there is no reason I should be pressured to tip when it took them 5 minutes to make a $2 meal I paid $10 for. No inside seating as always with a crowded atmosphere. Outside seating is a joke“

“It's been a little over 15 days since I came to the US, and I've been to about 6 Korean restaurants.
It has the best taste out of all the places I've been to so far.
The taste of the food and side dishes were all good.
Personally, I think it would have been better if the bulgogi or ribs were a little less salty.
The service quality is also good.“

“Frankly, this is the best amongst the restaurants, in the eatery place. A lady who seemed to be an owner of "Best Tofu House" is a nice lady. Its price was appropriate to its food I purchased. Check yourselves out at this "Best Tofu House." I'll go back and eat at this, Best Tofu House.“

“This restaurant offers a variety of classic Korean dishes with the banchan standing out as a highlight for us. However, the interior feels underwhelming and lacks the warmth or ambiance you'd expect for the price point. Staff and a family were yelling across the restaurant at each other, albeit in a friendly manner. While the food is great, the prices may not justify a stop for some people. Food was incredibly fast and the single order was beyond enough for two people.“

“I’ve been coming to Kochi Po-Cha for almost 2 years now and keep returning because the food quality and flavors are consistently amazing. The pork belly and chicken katsu are a must-have each time I go. And the late night hours and fun music make this a great spot for weekends.
The restaurant also went through a revamp within the past few months, with new tables and chairs, new menu items, and new complimentary side dishes, all of which were great decisions to improve the dining experience.
The service also improved significantly with this revamp. I notice the food comes out quicker and the servers, especially Bri, are very attentive in refilling side dishes and utensils/napkins without us asking. She provides great service from the moment we sit down to the moment we pack up and leave. We even celebrated a birthday there recently and she brought us complimentary soft serve with a candle in it, and invited a bunch of kind strangers over to sing for our table. She made our night!
Kochi Po-Cha is a place that consistently delivers delicious food and great service. I’d highly recommend it to others!“
“AMAZING! This is some of the best Korean food I have had and maybe some of the best I’ve ever had. I got the Japchae-bap and literally texted all my friends with pictures. It’s so delicious. Don’t pay attention to the negative comments, they are just wrong.“

“I was home for a bit and unable to drive so I ended up ordering bulgogi bowls for the fam and I on NUMEROUS occasions. I will share that I don’t do delivery usually except here and midnight cookie co. I literally dream about Seoul bowl and they are super fast. Online ordering is amazing and they always are faster than it says. My only feedback would be to have a better pickup process as they keep it behind the counter and it’s busy most of the time. Even with that they are pretty fast“

“Friendly service, can be a bit of a wait during rush hours. Been here several times and the cold noodles (both spicy and not spicy) consistently hits the spot. We tried the raw marinated crab last time and were pleasantly surprised by the freshness and its quality. A bit $$.“

“The vibe is very fun especially late at night with club like music playing. The chicken is delicious but absolutely on the sweeter side even with flavors that may seem like they’d be more savory.
The 3 of us came starving, split an order of fries as an appetizer and as a result couldn’t eat more than 4-5 pieces each. It could be overwhelming especially with the sweetness and lack of a side to even it out.“

“Excellent AYCE Korean BBQ. The self service bar is well set up and has a good selection of banchan and some grilled/fried offerings too. Many of the meat cuts (brisket, pork belly, etc) are also in the bar. It's all self-service, but that means the speed and convenience is fantastic.
For a lunch special, this place is hard to beat!“

“Food was great and cheaper than most places. I ordered beef tofu soup, it was only $14.99 (!!!) and very tasty. Side dishes were great too. They even served the purple rice on stone pot! Amazing. You do need to be aware of the strong smell (not rotten food, just strong Korean sauces or fish I assume) when you first get in the restaurant though. I'm Chinese so I didn't mind too much but just a heads up.“

“This has to be the top mom and pop Korean joint on highway 99. They recently reopened the sitting area! The menu is limited but portions are larger than life. The aroma can be felt from the parking lot. The sweet lady working the front is so patient with you.
10/10 recommend coming atleast once just for the portion size. One sweet and sour chicken and pork dumplings will be enough for 3 servings for a single person.
I wish I came here often.“

“This little restaurant is inside H-Mart is near the back parking lot with plenty of public tables to choose from.

Sweet and sour chicken: Yes

This one time I brought their house fried rice to a family party but I guess 3 other people had the same idea to bring fried rice so we had 4 different fried rice. My contribution had no leftovers. Everyone else's fried rice was put to shame and embarrassment.“

“This Korean BBQ has great quality meat and service. Much better than many of the other AYCE Korean BBQ places I have visited in the area. The service is especially great during weekday when the place is not as busy. I also really like that they offer several different side items that are not typically offered at Korean BBQ in the area (e.g. Korean fried chicken)“

“TLDR--Pros:- Consistent Tasty Side Dishes:The side dishes are the best you're going to get in the area.- As per any Korean restaurant, unlimited refillable side-dishes.- Most of the items on the menu are tasty. (In our opinion.)- Rice is almost never disappointing.- Meat is tasty. (Pro Tip: If you're doing KBBQ, grill a single slice of meat first to see if the cut is good. If not, ask for new cuts.)TLDR--Cons:- Watch out for busy hours if you're really hungry as it can be hard to get a spot. (As per any restaurant.)- Bring you own reusable to-go containers/bag- The lady in the high ponytail is often agitated? We also had a disagreeable experience with the lady with the high ponytail. The lady with the high ponytail yelled audibly towards her coworker--the lady with short hair. You could tell the lady with short hair was left distraught. The lady in high pony tail is usually mean and agitated but today she yelled. It can be difficult to get a spot when the place is busy but that's typical as per any restaurant. The to-go boxes are self service. I would recommend bringing your own reusable to-go containers though, as the containers are one-time use.“

“Found my new fav go to when I'm wanting a hearty soup to cure all my fall and winter ailments. The brisket Ramen; perfectly spicy and delicious! All dishes are good portions for the price and not overly salted like some other places.

“Seriously, I've never had a better server. She memorized our 5 orders with drinks and appetizers perfectly. She checked-in just the right amount and brought us stuff before we even knew we needed it. Amazing customer service is still alive and well here. The food was amazing too. The chicken is wonderful the sides were unique and tasty as were the drinks. I brought family from out of town and they were beyond impressed. 5 stars deserves 10 stars.“
