Very friendly receptionist that had to misfortune of dealing with how clueless I was lol but handled with professionalism and courtesy. Walked me through the menu and was very nice. Order the beef bulgogi over rice and it was such a huge portion and super tasty!

Gangnam is a family-run Korean restaurant. The ambiance is homey, with welcoming staff. The interior is spacious, and the food is authentic. The Gangnam Family Set is a good deal, with generous portions including favorites like Mackerel and spicy marinated Squid. The banchan variety is impressive. The kimchi jjigae with glutinous rice is recommended for a satisfying meal. Customers have noted that the food is served at just the right time, with everything fresh. The waitress was wonderful and always checking on us. Staff was attentive and prompt. Interior was clean and fairly well lit. Banchan (8 of them) ranged from spicy soy pickled peppers to mildly seasoned mung bean sprouts. The yukgaejang had good flavor overall. The Seolleontang broth was beefy and silky with glass noodles and tender brisket. Their Napa kimchi had a good funk and deep red gochugaru which went well with the tender brisket, deep broth, and purple rice. The 순대국 was good.
