Unlike the 'Westernized' Korean dishes or the specific style of soup I’m accustomed to, this felt much more like authentic home-style cooking. The fact that the restaurant is consistently packed with Korean patrons suggests they are doing something very right. While the flavor profile wasn't quite what I personally prefer, I can certainly appreciate the authenticity and the effort put into the meal. “Came here cos of the high reviews. The place was spacious and a few tables were occupied already at 5pm. We ordered Kaarage bento. Lion King special roll and the chirashi bowl. Everything was delicious. Lion King was seared salmon and unagi roll, it was very good. The chirashi to our surprise had some uni and unagi, which was a pleasant surprise, although it doesn't have amaebi, but better than what we usually get for chirashi bowl elsewhere. Not sure if it depends on the days availability. Service was nice, we will definitely come back.“

“Amazing! In this economy you couldn't ask for a better restaurant! The food is DELICIOUS and the prices are incredible. The portion sizes are very generous so bring a friend and your appetite. I've been coming here for over 10+ years and I still enjoy the food like it's the first time. My favorites are seafood jajangmyeon, chicken wings and tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork). I LOVE that the sweet and sour pork (or chicken) doesn't have red dye in it. The seafood jajangmyeon is packed full of flavor. Definitely give this restaurant a try next time you want don't want to takeout or a sit-down meal.“

“My family has been coming here for years and it’s the best sushi we have ever had. It’s a hidden gem for sure!

Our go-to order is the yummy yummy roll which is a lightly fried tuna roll served with eel sauce and ahi tuna chunks. Hands down the best. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.

The house salad is so refreshing and light, and the dressing is to die for!

The agadashi tofu in the appetizer menu is also a must.

And every order comes with a complementary miso soup which is soooooo good.

The only thing that I can add is that the Google hours don’t completely match their restaurant hours, so don’t come right at opening (give it another hour or so from the listed 12:00PM)“

“It was my first time trying grilled intestines like this, and I was honestly a little worried it might have a strong smell, but they cleaned and prepared it really well. When the edges get slightly crispy and charred, it smells amazing, while the inside still stays soft and chewy. It tastes really good with grilled garlic.

The mushrooms were also really good after soaking up all the meat juices from the grill. The yukhoe was easier to eat than I expected too — once mixed with the egg yolk, the texture became really smooth and rich without feeling too heavy.

The atmosphere of the restaurant also felt really cozy, kind of like those small Korean restaurants in K-dramas. The lighting was nice and it wasn’t too loud, so it was a good place to slowly eat and chat with friends at night.“

I used to come here every single week about 15 years ago but life changed and i didn’t come back for almost a decade. BUT when i walked through that door yesterday, i was met with the biggest welcoming smiles! The owner recognized me and happily served me & my sister a most comforting huge plate of juicy flavorful spicy chx teriyaki that just hit the spot and fed our souls 🔥 I hope this business stays open forever so i can bring my kids here some day.“

“I can’t say enough great things about the staff here. My grandparents used to stay here every summer while traveling from Arizona after they sold their home here. My grandpa passed away recently and the staff treats my grandma so well. It means so much to our family that she has such a great experience here. The flavors were rich and authentic, and everything was cooked to perfection. The margarita was the cherry on top—refreshing and perfectly balanced. This is our must go restaurant whenever we visit Lynnwood. The quality has stayed the same if not better over the years and the portion is huge, not to mention the reasonable price. Lunch special for $10.99 with so many options it's unheard of in the Seattle area.

Most authentic Sichuan food in greater Seattle area. Owners and cook are from Sichuan. We ordered pickled vegetable and fish soup and it was so yummy. It doesn't have the packaged powder smell to it and the soup was really creamy and the pickled vegetables tasted crisp and refreshing. We also ordered the dry pot with pork intestines. It was flawless, crispy but not greasy. Everything was fresh. Waiter was warm and welcoming. We didn't want it too spicy and the cook came out to check on us, which was very nice. You know it's authentic when their least spicy dishes still have red pepper on it. We don't eat spicy food and their mildest is perfect.
They have added more dishes to the menu. What we tried are delicious.“

“I used to absolutely love this place—hands down some of the best teriyaki in Lynnwood. The chicken used to be so crispy, with that fresh grilled flavor and a gorgeous color. But sadly, the last time we ordered, it was really disappointing. The chicken felt more like boiled, just seasoned with sauce and reheated. It really lost that fresh, grilled taste. Such a shame because we loved all their teriyaki.“

“Wow, what can I say? This adorable mom-and-pop restaurant tucked inside G Mart is truly a hidden gem. I’ve walked through G Mart countless times and somehow completely missed it until Google Maps pointed me in the right direction.

We arrived close to closing time, not realizing they were located inside G Mart and needed to wrap things up as the store was closing. They were understandably in a rush, but that didn’t stop the kind lady serving us from providing excellent service with a warm smile and some of the most delicious food I’ve had in a long time.

I wouldn’t recommend coming right before closing unless you’re prepared to eat quickly. Luckily, I came hungry and had no problem finishing my meal! I really need to start taking pictures of my food because everything was so amazing.
