This is our must go restaurant whenever we visit Lynnwood. The quality has stayed the same if not better over the years and the portion is huge, not to mention the reasonable price. Lunch special for $10.99 with so many options it's unheard of in the Seattle area.

Most authentic Sichuan food in greater Seattle area. Owners and cook are from Sichuan. We ordered pickled vegetable and fish soup and it was so yummy. It doesn't have the packaged powder smell to it and the soup was really creamy and the pickled vegetables tasted crisp and refreshing. We also ordered the dry pot with pork intestines. It was flawless, crispy but not greasy. Everything was fresh. Waiter was warm and welcoming. We didn't want it too spicy and the cook came out to check on us, which was very nice. You know it's authentic when their least spicy dishes still have red pepper on it. We don't eat spicy food and their mildest is perfect.
They have added more dishes to the menu. What we tried are delicious.”

What I wish is that you put the Angel Hair [Capellini] Pomodoro back on the menu as it has always been my favorite on the menu. I can always make it at home but it wouldnt be as great! “Lynnwood is not Bellevue, and Alderwood Mall is not Bellevue Square. The resemblance is there, but nobody is confused, least of all the mall. Still, Alderwood holds three spots dear to me. There is J. Sweets, where I can get my favorite wagashi imported straight from Japan, sweets so restrained they seem almost to apologize for being sweets. Next door is Arc Watch Works, run by a master watchsmith, if that is a word, and his charming wife; if it is not a word, he is reason enough to coin it. And on the second floor of Nordstrom there is Bazille, a veritable oasis, tucked away where oases are kept now.

After yesterday's failed expedition into traditional American fare, I came to Bazille in a spirit of repair. It is one of those rare rooms that is never too busy and never too empty, as though the place itself has good manners. Today's crowd included a beautiful family of four sliding between English and what I took to be Tagalog, easy as breathing, and a lone woman at the bar who was plainly known to the bartendress. To be known by name at a bar on the second floor of a mall in Lynnwood: that is a kind of citizenship too.

The menu is minimal but not too minimal, caloric but not unreasonably so, which makes it the antithesis of the Cheesecake Factory at the other end of the mall, where the operating principle is more, and then more after that. Even so, I always have trouble ordering. My standing dilemma is the chimichurri steak versus the mushroom ravioli, a question I have failed to settle across many visits. Today the steak won, with a glass of cab and the little gem Caesar. A year ago it would have been the lobster salad, but the lobster salad has gone off the menu, and I have grieved in proportion. Bread pudding after, because repair should be thorough.

The food was, as always, delicious. Five out of five, and here I should explain my system: on a scale of one to five, anything other than a five is really a one. Everyone knows this; inflation has come for the stars as it came for everything else. On an honest scale of one to ten, an eight or a nine, which is to say excellent, which is to say go. The service was its usual five. The atmosphere was divine. A veritable oasis, as I said, and I will keep saying it until Nordstrom puts it on a plaque.”

No exaggeration, it looked like someone grabbed a little tiny pinch with two fingers. The second time I went I made sure to ask for extra cheese to avoid this. And once again I was hardly given any cheese at all. Cheese is a main part of nachos so I’m confused as to why they barely give any. Lost my business over some cheese. The very first time I went there the food was amazing with zero complaints but after back to back issues with getting very little to no cheese I’ll never be back.”

Our go-to order is the yummy yummy roll which is a lightly fried tuna roll served with eel sauce and ahi tuna chunks. Hands down the best. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.

The house salad is so refreshing and light, and the dressing is to die for!

The agadashi tofu in the appetizer menu is also a must.

And every order comes with a complementary miso soup which is soooooo good.

The only thing that I can add is that the Google hours don’t completely match their restaurant hours, so don’t come right at opening (give it another hour or so from the listed 12:00PM)”

There are other comments about the tzatziki sauce being a little watery. Honestly, I thought it was great. Then again- I haven’t had a gyro in over a decade so I don’t have a point of reference. “Sushi Blue is not for those who expect to be catered to. This is tremendous value sushi with great flavor, assembled for someone with a giant mouth or a dexterous set of hands and cutlery. I order the sake roll once a week or so, which gives me two-to-three meals. The wasabi is beautifully strong and flavorful. You cannot call ahead or order by phone or website. If you want it, you need to show up personally and order it. The speed of service is unmatched when they are available. When they get too many orders in, they temporarily close up shop until they catch up. The value and flavor of Sushi Blue far outweighs the inconvenience of the difficulty in ordering from them. The woman who runs the shop is very kind and pleasant. These folks work hard to provide good value and great taste!”

“Food was astonishing, the quality of the fish is incredible for the price and the udon was hard to stop eating. The customer service was excellent, we arrived about an hour before close and were well warned about eating and ordering limits, and then during last call the staff personally came up and checked if there was anything else we wanted to add on. For a place with an online ordering system I didn't expect to really get checked in on by staff but Eric and everyone else made sure our dining experience was exceptional. I absolutely will be coming here again for the amazing food and exemplary customer service.”
