“Rubys is a gem, quite literally and metaphorically, I guess. Tucked in an unassuming part of greenwood is a dog friendly, small seating, heck of a cocktail joint. Their menu and drinks change seasonally so it’s like watching all your favorite Game of Thrones character get offed. Sad, but necessary for growth and new characters. Anyways, this place is rad. “We found this place on a walk around the golf course today! Somehow we wandered off trail and found it.
Great beer, a pool table and local dive bar vibe.
Apparently they’ve been open for 97 years!
Check it out, go for a pint and a game, and support a treasure. Gentrification has closed so many good dive bars. It’s nice to see one hanging on. We will be back!!

Britana was Amazing, the service was fast, the sandwich was fresh, meaty and delicious- a great place to catch a game and have lunch, breakfast or dinner. I gat a great IPA, a lesson in Pull Tabs and had a terrific time Beating Cole at billiards! Ha- if you're on your way to the ferry, make sure to stop at Cole's! You won't be sorry! “The Twisted Lime Pub is a must-visit! DC was an exceptional server. He was friendly, incredibly respectful, and attentive throughout our entire meal. While being our server, he was also running the bar, cleaning tables, refilling drinks, checking in with us and the tables next to us, just going above and beyond with his hospitality. There were other servers who were amazing but you could tell DC has a passion for serving others and making this place special.

The food was absolutely delicious, and everything came out fresh and surprisingly fast. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in both quality and efficiency. We had the chicken Nacho Mama, Twisted Tacos, and key lime pie, all freaking tasty and looked so good I forgot to take photos!

I also loved the overall environment. The space was very clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming, laid-back vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. “Ok, I am biased. We live a block away and this is definitely a local haunt of ours. The friendly bartends, Hayley, Jono, and or Brittany always have their game on. The house cocktails are invintive, I generally have to ask what an ingredient is, because I don't know. That makes it fun!
The menu has expanded over the years with the introduction of Tuesday chicken wings. My only complaint is that it can get pretty loud if the place is busy and packed.“

“I was at The Lodge for an afternoon reception and wedding, and Father Mulligan's has an extremely convenient happy hour from 2-5PM on Friday and Saturday. Suffice it to say, we stopped by to down a drink or two before the festivities.

The bartenders were very friendly and the cocktail of the day was a fruity vodka/cranberry/grapefruit cocktail topped with a fruity sour. It was very drinkable and our orders came out quickly.

Their wine list also has some unique gems on it, definitely worth a look.

Overall, can't complain about the service and the cocktails were well received for a reasonable price considering the exclusive location.“

Noise level depends on the night, sometimes this place is like a cathedral, sometimes it's poppin'. The Cabin is nestled in a quiet neighborhood so parking might be an issue but don't make it weird and it won't be.“

I did not eat anything, but next time I will check out their food. I heard they have a farm to table restaurant moving in which would be awesome! If I had my choice, I would have Carolina Smoke BBQ come in and make it the blues capital of the eastside, but let's see what they come up with. HIGHLY recommended.“

But wow do we love this place so much. It’s our go to for meeting up with friends — with or without our annoying small kiddos in tow. “Claire’s served a delightful lunch! We went on Friday at noon and even though the restaurant was very busy. We walked right in and sat down at a table. The service was excellent. The menu is huge, tons of options to pick from, all day brunch is served with plenty of waffle and pancake and French toast options. The crispy potatoes were especially good, there’s a curry spice on them that makes them unique and very tasty. Great spot!

Vegetarian options: You can remove the meat from any dish to make it vegetarian so there are plenty of options

Parking: Street parking is free for 3 hours, if you can find it

Kid-friendliness: Kids would love this place, lots of pancake and waffle options“

“I love the food here, but on delivery orders, they have messed up twice now on mine! Am supposed to get refund, so will see in a couple of days! Driver couldn’t check on my order as they had stapled the bag shut! Was sur prized when I opened the bag a found two large containers of soup and no almond fried chicken and gravy with almonds or even the extra gravy I’d requested! At times like this, wish I still had my car so could have gone back myself to get the rest of my order! Is hard when you’re disabled!“
