“To be honest, I expected a run of the mill suburban bar, but instead was met with one of the most fun bar vibes I’ve found outside of downtown Seattle. Pool tables, darts, TouchTunes, karaoke nights, everything you could hope for from a bar. Kind patrons, quick and polite bartenders, and a floor that is surprisingly clean for being a carpeted interior!“

Excellent beverages, wonderful community, fantastic service from both Sarah and Elijah all come together for an extremely positive experience.

The teams continued effort to produce a safe and welcoming environment (including PoCs and LGBTQ+) is greatly appreciated and I'm glad I had the opportunity to come by!

“Wonderful place where meat eaters and vegans can delight in a delicious meal. Great wine section and craft cocktails. Quaint wine shop to bring something home or scoop a gift for a friend on the way to the party. Be sure to try the butter pickles!“

“This is a great neighborhood spot! The pizza is really, really good, and there's space to spread out and hang with people. The beer is a little spendy ($11/glass, give or take), so I skip that and get something from a nearby brewery if I really want it. But def go for the pizza and the chill vibes!!“

“Another great visit to Ruby. Nice that it’s open on Mondays when a lot of other spots are closed. Excellent service and friendly barkeeps. Highlights were the Pluto and the Scoundrel but all the cocktails were excellent. About 1/3 full on this particular Monday. Love the dogs on the walls and the ones in the bar. Great spot!“

“This was the first time I have ever eaten here and it won't be the last. The staff was so helpful in helping me choose which dishes I should get. I am vegetarian and there were SO many amazing options to choose from. I personally LOVED the Inari and the tofu nuggets. The tofu nuggets were so delicious, they were warm and flavorful and had an incredible dip. I will absolutely be coming back for more soon!“

They grabbed me with the deep dish style pizza. i started following their Instagram so i could see what was going on. over the last few years i would order a pizza from them when in the area… a few special trips just because. Now just recently I started seeing Tavern Style pizza show up on the instagram. Started with photos from other places and then Windy City pie puts tavern on their menu! i wanted to try it since it became available and finally decided to make it part of my pre game for a saturday Mariners game. if thin crisp crust is not your thing then stick with the deep dish! it continues to amaze! If you like the thin crisp pizza try the tavern. it is not just any pizza it is special. the crust is thin uniform and crisp through out the pizza. the toppings are high quality and the sauce is something out of this world! I ate about half and took the rest home to share with my wife. thought i would be able to share our reheat but it didn’t get past the cold pizza phase… this has to be the very best cold pizza i can remember! So good we didn’t take the time to heat back up we just downed it! Check them out! really great pizza on 2 ends of the pizza spectrum!“

Every ingredient worked so well together, and the flavors came together in a way that was both comforting and refined. “Stopped in with a friend to play some pinball on Wednesday 8/23/23. Pinball map was pretty accurate regarding pins on location, and the games we played were in good condition, spaced out well, and most had cupholders or tables close by. There were the requisite 40"-50" TVs playing sports set up around the bar, but they were not the center of attention - this isn't a sports bar. There were 4-5 pool tables, and all were busy by the time we left for the Ice Box around 9 PM. Stiff well drinks, a decent selection of beer, etc., and decent prices for the area. I like the square wooden-framed ~25'x25' area around the bar, away from the pinball and pool - it was kind of cozy and they had a corner with a mic set up for...music or karaoke or stand-up, or something else I guess. New owners revamped this place in late 2021 or early 2022, and they kept the dive bar atmosphere, but really cleaned the place up. No yucky smells, and I didn't feel like I had to wash my hands after I left. I know that's not a high bar, but I what I mean was that it was a pleasant and unpretentious place to hang out. Didn't try any food - maybe next time. Sorry, no pictures this time!“

Britana was Amazing, the service was fast, the sandwich was fresh, meaty and delicious- a great place to catch a game and have lunch, breakfast or dinner. I gat a great IPA, a lesson in Pull Tabs and had a terrific time Beating Cole at billiards! Ha- if you're on your way to the ferry, make sure to stop at Cole's! You won't be sorry! Did I mention the prices were really really reasonable! I'd give Cole's six stars!!!!“

“This place is fantastic. Been here quite a few times since they’ve opened and they’ve done a great job of updating and adapting to their clientele. Very chill during the daytime and a great place to hang out and chat with the friendly bartenders. Delicious food with lots of variety, and great drinks as well.

Later at night, especially the weekends, gets very fun. They bring in excellent artists for live DJ sets and are a great avenue for local talent to showcase their skills. It’s young and clubby, but still very inclusive of anyone and everyone.

Very excited to see this place evolve and continue to grow in the coming years. One of the best bars to visit in Seattle right now and I expect great things in their future!“

“I had only come in for a Roy Rogers as I ate before arriving but WOW!!! Great atmosphere and really nice neighborhood where its located!
