“I can’t say enough great things about the staff here. My grandparents used to stay here every summer while traveling from Arizona after they sold their home here. My grandpa passed away recently and the staff treats my grandma so well. It means so much to our family that she has such a great experience here. “How many places can you say you've frequented for 20 years. Well, I've come to 74th Street Ale House since I moved to Seattle back in 2000. My love for this place started with a weekly trek to have the Reuban Sandwich and I'd have a Snakebite to drink.

After a decade my taste changed and I evolved to some of the best iced tea in Seattle and the blue cheese burger with the grilled onions and bell peppers. On top of the great menu they have weekly specials and the homemade soups and gumbo are fantastic.

Great place to meet up with friends and have a meal and drink some beers although the do have a full bar too. Mostly a neighborhood place with lots of locals and the staff know more of the regulars as they've worked here for a few decades too.

I highly recommend 74th Street Ale House and BTW I just came back from there and had the Gumbo, a Guinness and chased it down with a iced tea to boot.“

“Wife wanted food, this is the place she found. Didnt know it was a bowling alley as well. Unfortunately we came on a league night. Will return because this seems like a cool, legit place for like minded people that like to bowl. She was able to play her favorite game while waiting for our food“

“I am a seeker of cheesesteaks. Any restaurant that has them I will try it. The cheesesteaks that Tre makes are the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had. My favorite are Tres Caliente and the Nashville Bacon Bleu. I tell all my friends about them and I travel from the NE side in Wedgwood (20-30 min drive depending on traffic) to the location because they are that good. Thanks Tre!“

“There was a snafu with DoorDash delivering my order and they brought me the wrong meal. I called Blazing Onion Mill Creek and spoke to Angelo the manager And explain the situation. He sat on hold with DoorDash for 30 minutes before deciding to just hand-deliver my correct order himself and gave me an $20 gift card for my troubles.Amazing service!!!!“

“Very cute mom and pop type breakfast diner. Service was quiet and considerate, and was greeted almost immediately upon entering. I was offered coffee or water (not sure if there were other options) and a menu. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. Being from the south, I had high hopes for this dish. The eggs were amazing and only needed a little salt and pepper. The scones in the entree were a little grainy but overall very nice. And the gravy was well seasoned. I would have loved if sausage gravy was an option, but I know that is a personal preference. Overall, I believe I may have found my new favorite breakfast spot.“

“Nice little sports bar with a great food menu. It features a huge bar area with multiple big screens showing various sports. The food was very good and offered at a fair price. Seating is a bit limited, but they have outdoor dining in a breezeway, so you do have some options. The staff is friendly and our party of 5 for Mothers Day brunch enjoyed the visit.“

“We had lunch at Cedar & Elm a few months ago and had a great experience. But Christmas lunch today was a major disappointment. The website said “choose from either our five-course tasting menu or our regular menu”. We arrived for our 1:30 reservation, were seated late and then told only the brunch menu was available. :(“

“How about this for a review - OH What good luck, I just ate the most magnificent duck. At Sparrows I darn near made a glutton and fool of myself. Roasted duck with a cherry port wine sauce. My, my, my a beautiful cherry surprise. A leg, thigh and breast accompanied with an Argintine red wine. Lord all mighty is in the most rewarding places. “Had dinner at Anderson School's Tavern on the Square. Roasted Brussels sprouts were outstanding. Grilled chicken salad had best dressing I've ever tasted. Entree was asada style NY steak and fries topped with chimichurri. Fries and chimichurri the best. Steak on the other hand was terrible. About a third gristle, the rest cold and tough as leather. I ordered medium rare. It looked just right so it wasnt the cooking, rather just a lousy cut. Nevertheless been to T on S before, loved it and will definitely go back. Just won't order steak again.“
