“Our friends recommended this place. When we came in for brunch, it was pretty packed and we were told the wait was about 15-20min. Wait time was about 15. Staff was super friendly. We ordered the chicken fried steak with the chorizo jalapeño gravy with extra cheese grits & crème brûlée french toast. Our meals were on point, grits were amazing! Our waiter even hooked us up with extra gravy, which was a nice touch.“
“Had dinner here on St Patty's. The ambient music was so fun. Our server was so kind to our little guy. We ordered sharables, every bit tasty to the last crumb.Hardly noticeable difference between a $6 dollar salad and a $10 salad. The latter came in a bigger plate but the portion should have been American big. Taste did not suffer just the sizing.Thank you everyone for a wonderful family dinner!“
“Once again another top-notch experience at Heritage. Every single employee was incredibly welcoming, kind and attentive. Service from start to finish was the best. The food, as always, was delicious-the burger, fries and saffron aioli (could put this sauce on everything) keeps me coming back over and over. If you haven't been-you need to! A constant favorite!!!“
“I am so happy I decided to come here, and even happier that I came hungry! The winery is beautiful, modern with lots of wood and red accents. It has a really good vibe and absolutely stunning design and art. The atmosphere is so lovely. The wines are top notch. I love their super Tuscan, and they have whites that even red drinkers would love. No wonder they were voted the top winery in Washington! I went for a tasting but ended up coming home with bottles. The manager, Joel, and the wine club manager, Annika, are absolutely amazing. They did a great job talking about the wines, but also making me feel like I was part of the Brian Carter family. Top tier service! Something I did not expect is that they have some of the best food I've had on the Eastside. Their chef belongs in a Michelin restaurant, but his food pairs so perfectly with the wines that I'm glad he ended up here! I got the fried polenta and broccolini and both were so flavorful and had the perfect texture. Definitely don't overlook their food, especially for happy hour! This is definitely one of my favorite spots in Woodinville!“
“There are plenty of outdoor tables, but few are equipped with heaters. We enjoyed live music and were fortunate to secure a table indoors, as it was extremely cold outside. I selected this restaurant specifically for its cioppino, which I had been craving. My children opted for burgers, which turned out to be excellent. The ambiance was pleasant, and our waitress was friendly. The food was decent—though not exceptional, possibly due to my high expectations. For wine enthusiasts, this place might be a hit (we didn't sample any, but it was clear that it was popular among the other patrons).“
“I went to the new tasting room at Brian, Carter and was very impressed with the whole experience. The tasting room was beautifully, and the wine and food pairings blew me away. Brian Carter does an amazing job creating delicious wines inspired by from around the world. He has been making wine since the 1970s, and draws many of his inspirations from Old World blends. The tasting room's newest chef, Nicholas Ames, has created the most delicious dishes that are beautifully plated. The Chanterelle-Oyster Mushroom Toast is delicious and pairs perfectly with the Roussanne. The Charred Broccolini might be my favorite item on the menu, with its toasted shallots and white balsamic emulsion - YUM. The 2020 Byzance was my favorite wine - it was smooth and complex, will only get better with age, and is perfect with the Red Wine Risotto, which is so flavorful and yummy - my husband loved it too. Also be sure to save room for dessert. The Opulente port is phenomenal, made even better by the chocolate mousse. I would highly recommend Brian Carter to any winos who love good food, foodies who love good wine, and anyone else looking for a great date night!“
“I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars.Located in the building with their wine tasting room, the vibe is cozy yet sleek, if that makes sense. Two fire features, large windows and eclectic seating, it is visibly pleasing. Our server was Lucio--excellent! He joked with us and had inside jokes by his second visit. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He made us feel like we were his fave guests of the day.We ordered espresso martinis, made with cold brew, which were well-balanced and not too sweet and did their job. We got the pomme frites--get the pomme frites if you love fries! The shoestring fries are perfectly cooked and salted; they don't even need the aoli.I ordered the spinach radicchio salad and the hubs got the romaine kale Caesar with prawns. The Caesar was the big winner--if you're a Caesar lover and you love a good Caesar (you know who you are!) you'll love this one. Perfectly balanced garlic and anchovy to the creamy sauce. The radicchio salad is the reason this restaurant didn't receive 5 stars. I love me a good radicchio salad, but this one didn't go well together. There were green olives (which were fantastic on their own), apples, blue cheese (which had a strange flavor--and I LOVE blue cheese) and fennel. It should have started with a creamy dressing and gone from there, I realized. So I ate half of hubs' salad.Definitely go wine tasting then come eat here!“
“My wife and friends all came here for our first time and enjoyed every bite of our meals cooked by Chef Aaron! The waiter was efficient, friendly, and respectful with our time there. So much that we didn't feel like leaving. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting at the same time, and we'd 100% recommend it to fam and more friends!“
“The food is well done and will executed. The ambiance is great and the staff is wonderful. The menu is somewhat limited, and for the price I'm not sure it justifies what the options are. For a breakfast there are a couple places that aren't too far from there that actually have better options at a more reasonable price. The dishes are supposedly somewhat fancy twists on old favorites but to be honest it doesn't really add anything.“
“The food is good, but it's all coming from Elliott Bay Brewing next door, so set that as your expectation. Brother Barrel used to have their own food and the restaurant explained in a reply to another review that they hope to restore that service in the future. That would be great as I used to love this place. The service was 10/10. One guy was holding the bar down and he was doing a great job of it. He was friendly and affable, making us feel welcome. The ambiance is good if a bit quiet since this serves as a spill-over spot for Elliot Bay currently. The inside of this space is nicer than the other restaurant visually.“
“The pear flatbread was delicious. The calamari was crispy, but I was bummed that it was spicy. They don’t have a blender (so no virgin strawberry dacquiris, which can make a good strawberry drink in a pinch) and I don’t drink; nonalcoholic options seemed limited to a root beer and lemonade. Good spot for people to go together after work. I hope they redo their menu so the words are larger and in a sans serif font, though, as the menu details were almost impossible to read in the dim light at the long group tables back by the pool table.“
“I must say….the Bar tender here, sorry didn’t catch his name but he has blond hair and super nice!! He’s a rockstar, amazing service and super friendly! The staff bringing our food out were also top notch super nice and helpful! I was just flat out impressed!! Can’t think of better words to say how great the staff here are!! The food was also fantastic!! Had the lobster and filet with the bacon Mac and Brussels! First, the steak was cooked to perfection, flavor was fabulous, I’ve been to amazing steakhouses that weren’t anywhere near this good. The lobster was amazing as well, cooked perfectly. The Brussels and Mac and cheese were very well done! Hats off to the chef, I was not expecting this amount of excellence when we walked in the door!! Not that I expected anything bad but I was blown away! Highly recommend this place!! Again, thank you to the awesome bar tender that I didn’t get a chance to tell how great he and everything was!! So….thank you again and hope to see you again when I’m back!!“
“Great service and food was good, some flavors were a bit lack luster for our expectation. The atmosphere wasn't bad, just really loud so trying to visit with people I haven't seen in a while was a bit more difficult than it should have been. Menu had a great selection.Photo includes:Fish tacos w/ garlic parmesan fries & Nashville Dilly & tater tots.“
“Love the fries we got here. However the service took forever. Wasted 20 minutes in line and we were the only ones in line. The price for pool is per person playing, which isn't fair to charge the people your playing with when they are waiting for the next game. Atmosphere is good. Love the vibe. I will go back again. 2nd time there for me.“
“Came in and sat at the bar. Great food of course but I was really impressed with the bartenders. I didn't know what I wanted on the wall of whiskeys, so they chose for me. Gave options and knew their stuff. Great experience overall, I look forward to returning.“
“We had high expectations and were not disappointed. Food was delicious (we had sable fish for main, Cale/arugula salad and flatbread for starters), for desert we had a wonderful caramel tart. Our server Angel was very knowledgeable and gave good recommendations. All in all a very pleasant experience in very nice surroundings. Free vale parking was an extra bonus! We will be back!“
“Been coming here since I was little , it's comfort food, it's a staple in my eyes, food is always on point and the menu is huge. it's hard to choose what to get. Breakfast is usually what we get, they have great eggs Benny. Their biscuits and gravy is so good I get the gravy on its own! Service is always good!“
“Love. It is a must to visit for a date night or any occasion. Wood fire pits throughout the joint. It's just a fun place for everyone. They have almost everything great food, games, live music, movies, a hotel, and a swimming pool. Need I say more? Do it if you like to relax and have a great time.“
“This place truly lives up to its reputation with fantastic beer and a rustic ambiance. During our visit, we tried a beer called ‘Last Exit,’ and it quickly became one of my personal favorites. The combination of great brews and the rustic setting sets the perfect mood.I must give credit to the exceptional service we received. Our party was quite large, consisting of 18 people, including some enthusiastic and noisy kids (my apologies for the disturbance). However, our server and the entire staff were incredibly patient and understanding. They managed to accommodate our lively group with grace, making the dining experience enjoyable for everyone. Not only was the beer outstanding, but the food also lived up to expectations. This is undoubtedly a place I’d recommend for a memorable evening out. Kudos to the staff for their exceptional service, especially in handling our kids’ craziness.“
