We had lunch at Cedar & Elm a few months ago and had a great experience. But Christmas lunch today was a major disappointment. The website said “choose from either our five-course tasting menu or our regular menu”. We arrived for our 1:30 reservation, were seated late and then told only the brunch menu was available. :(
A year ago we attempted a walk in at this restaurant and it was jam packed . Last night we arrived and only five tables were occupied. Maybe because 2021 we were all free from
Our Covid lockdowns. Not sure , but you are all missing a wonderful experience if you don’t check this place out. We had exceptional service and a great meal. We have been to Cedar + Elm for breakfast/brunch twice and all of the food we ate was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish and all of our drinks. The service was good, occasionally a bit inattentive, but never a problem. The restaurant feels straight out of the roaring 20s as the original John Graham design has been lovingly restored. With high ceilings and lots of natural light, it is a wonderful place for a meal.
