The website said “choose from either our five-course tasting menu or our regular menu”. We arrived for our 1:30 reservation, were seated late and then told only the brunch menu was available. :(“

Excellent and knowledgeable staff can make recommendations from the ever-changing menu based on your tastes, and it's easy to have almost any dish modified to be vegetarian or vegan. Perusing the tasting notes on the wine wall is a nice way to pass the time - great prices on the take-home bottles. If you're on a budget (and I usually am), grab a snack or two. “Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. You will leave with a full, joyous stomach … you will be very satisfied. Happy eating!“

We were one of their first guests in those early days and eat here so much the owners know me by name! If I were qualified to give food awards, this place would win my 2024 Best of Seattle award! 🥇👏🏻✨ Ps. They do not accept reservations - it’s first come first serve. Around 6pm, they go on a waitlist and a line starts to form outside. Don’t bother calling to get on the waitlist - they won’t even do that for me! You have to show up in person to get on the list.“

“I was in town for a special event, I haven't been here before and was amazed with every aspect of my experience. our server Charles was utterly fabulous. he was very knowledgeable, thoughtful and prompt. he made it feel like we were old friends. the steaks were perfectly cooked. I am 4 and 1/2 years sober, and to go out and enjoy an exquisite meal and only drink water can be a drag, but you all had an amazing selection of mocktails, my partners and I enjoyed immensely. Cocktails are inventive and complex. I have one gripe, I’d love to see this place expand to an international wine list, cause if they do this well at what they already do, their international wine choices would prob be exceptional. Owen Kotler Selections would be a great fit here. Shout out to Jason the Gm and our server was Will (I believe, sorry homie, strong cocktails blur my memory). The desserts man. It’s like everyone here really loves what they’re doing, and intense scrutiny goes into each dish the comes out of that kitchen. Top restaurant in Seattle for sure. More affordable than most too. “I ordered from Hollywood Baked Goods for an Employee Appreciation Event at my workplace, and they exceeded every expectation. They produced over 600 incredible cake pops—individually wrapped and tied with a cute ribbon—without any issues at all.
Even with such a large order, they were more than willing to help me execute an event for hundreds of employees. The entire process, from ordering to pickup, was seamless. Holly and her team communicated quickly whenever I had questions, and when I arrived for pickup, everything was organized and ready to go, which made my job so much easier.
