It is always a challenge for me to eat Asian food of any type, as I cannot eat any soy sauce. We went to this restaurant on Wednesday evening and back again on Friday for lunch. To say they worked with us on my allergy would be an understatement. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had amazing food and a wonderful experience! Tye (sp) took care of us on the first visit. You would be hard pressed to find a better server. Each recommendation given turned out to be wonderful....read full review

Based on the reviews, Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya on Capitol Hill offers great food with flavorful broth and chewy noodles. The Spicy Chicken Tan Tan is delicious with a great kick, and the shoyu ramen or chicken shoyu ramen are good suggestions for picky eaters. The Chicken Karaage is solid, but the Prawn Cutlet is the highlight of the meal. They have a wide variety of drinks, amazing izakaya options, and even curry and donburi if you don’t want ramen. The cozy atmosphere makes you feel at home, with semi-recessed seating and a warm soft glow paired with an eclectic mix of music that compliments the energy of the neighborhood. Staff are very kind and the service is fantastic. Michael and Kim are amazing servers who make the experience better. Kim bent over backwards to help a party of 10, and Michael greeted warmly at the front door. Everything arrived as expected. Highly recommend.
