“First time for us here, celebrating our 3rd anniversary of meeting. Excellent food, service, and prices. No reservations in a really popular venue, so plan for a slight wait. Staff is awesome, and explained dishes we weren't familiar with.? The venue is noisy, so don't expect a subdued, intimate experience. We'll definitely be back!“
“It’s a nice and comfortable spot for some grilled meat and rice bowls. We got seated right away, the servers were fast and friendly. I really enjoyed the beef rice bowl. However, the katsu curry was a disappointment, it was a little sweet and the rice was mushy for my taste.“
“Of all the places to get ramen in Capitol Hill, I find myself coming back to Kizuki quite regularly. The shoyu broth is less rich and creamy which I prefer more often. My only complaint is that the vegetarian ramen is more expensive than the meat ones—unfair considering the lowest cost of vegetarian ingredients.“
“I'm no ramen expert, but Arashi is so freaking good! They've been in business a long time, and even though it's pretty much no frills, the service is great and the ramen is just fantastic! It can be hard for me to remember that salty instant ramen isn't what's authentic because, well, salt is delicious - but skip the sodium and enjoy truly flavorful ramen here!“
“First time here. Love the decor, it transports you straight to Japan. Great experience, food presentation and flavors. The ginger beer was so fresh with just the right amount of honey sweetened.Highly enjoyed the hot stone wagyu, I would be back for that.“
“Gluten free ramen here!!!! The gluten free ramen was pretty good. The boiled chicken it came with could have used a little more seasoning, but overall the dish was good and I will come back. (Honestly where else can you find gluten free ramen....!!). The entire menu is a great selection of grilled treats, sushi, and other hot dishes. This is a great option for Japanese comfort food.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free ramen!!!!“
“My brother took me to this spot and it's probably my fav sushi spot in Seattle! The sushi is fresh and good. We did dine in once and the service was good, but mostly do takeout! I've been to a few sushi places around Seattle and this one is probably the best!“
“Kizuki Ramen is a chain Ramen place with franchises in the US, Japan, Taiwan, and Australia and is well worth the visit. Their menu features the usual Ramen offerings with some additional traditional Japanese favorites like Gyoza, Onigiri, and Croquette. The location I stopped at in Bellingham was a little off the beaten track but seemed popular and was very attractive visually. The bathrooms were spotless and even included mouthwash. Being pressed for time I ordered the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen with extra greens and it did not disappoint. The pork was especially delicious and the assorted toppings were quite good though you might have to pay a bit extra to get the toppings you want. I am looking forward to my next visit when I can sample more of their menu.“
“We had a lovely date night at this restaurant - stumbled upon it and were pleasantly surprised by their top notch service! Our server, Brandon, was very attentive and friendly. The host stepped outside to open the door for us on our way out. They made us feel like VIP customers! We tried their happy hour menu, and we look forward to trying other items on the menu!“
“I tried to get to this restaurant 5 times and it never worked because I always forgot my ID, lol. Finally, yesterday, I got in, and to be honest, the chicken was good in taste, but nothing special. Also, the stools were very uncomfortable to sit on. Prices are very high for that portion. The most impressive thing for me was the design and friendly staff.“
“The grapefruit salt clear soup is great, very suitable for people who don't like heavy flavors. The vegetables are not too rotten, the noodles are strong enough, the soft-boiled eggs are hard-boiled, and the bamboo shoots are crisp enough. It is a rare good restaurant and worth recommending.“
“Rondo was amazing. Went for lunch and had an interesting bento box. I can't remember the name as it was on the lunch special menu, but had 6 sashimi, mini hamburger patty, bolognese sauce over rice, and a couple more items. It sounds a little weird but was really awesome! The quality of the sashimi in the bento box and in an appetizer ordered was extremely high!Another review mentioned the bento box being served in a plastic tray even though it was dine-in. This is true, but definitely not something that I think had a negative aspect at all (and it's a nice tray) and matches the vibe of the restaurant, it's an izakaya not a formal dining room. Thoroughly recommend!“
