“I have the great luck of eating home cooked Thai and Cambodian food so my opinion is colored by regional home cooked meals. With that, Phnom Penh Noodle House serves up traditional and deliciois Cambodian foods in generous portions at reasonable prices. The servers and wait staff are friendly, skilled, and easy to chat with. You will find three generational dining at many of tables and it reminds me of attending a family event. Come for the great food and come back for the easy going atmosphere.“

“Our first visit was yesterday for lunch and we had Chicken Xiao Long Bao, Chicken pan-fried potstickers, Chicken and Vegetable Won-tons in sweet and sour sauce and Spicy (Ma la) noodles.....all were very good! The service was excellent and we enjoyed the whole experience!!“

“My husband introduced me to Tai Tung shortly after we were married 60 years ago. My sons grew up eating there and much later my granddaughter did too. The food is exquisite, especially shrimp in crab sauce, the service is impeccable and the ambiance is kind of old fashioned and comfortable. In fact, Tai Tung is and always has been virtually the best restaurant in Seattle.“

“Oh wow! How did I just find this place out? Its amazing!!! Everything was simply incredible. The food was perfect. Roti Jala very tasty as a starter. Then we ordered the chicken which was super crispy on the outside and juicy inside. We also ordered the laksa noodles which was heaven and we also got the ribs. Please order the coconut shake and the passion fruit green tea. Wow wow wow! We will be back for my birthday with our friends!“

“Went here with my family. We had reservations so we were able to go in right away (there was a lot of people waiting). The drinks were really good and the food was awesome! Our waitress was very nice and suggested to split burger before we even asked (our family likes to share). We even made a reservation in two weeks to take other friends there! Definitely recommend!“

“The best and most authentic Chinese noodles I've ever had on the U district! The soup of the noodles is very tasty, and the portion is big enough.
One thing that could be better is the environment of the store, but the taste of the food does a very good job to compromise this!“

“We did the spicy beef pho and although it had a good flavor it did not taste like a Pho broth. Was missing the aromatics of the anise, cinnamon, etc.

Possibly due to the Spicy broth choice, tasted more like a BBH than Pho.

“Very good! I wish they did the kalua pork with the combo plates (didn’t notice until I got home) but the bbq pork was really good. Will have to try just the kalua pork next time. Def worth getting the +$1 upgrade to fried rice. Mac salad was delicious, I’m picky about it and often don’t eat it when I get Hawaiian food but this was good. Can’t wait to try more things from the menu. Spam musubi was standard edition but still yummy.“

“This is by far my favorite teriyaki spot amd my go to! I love their chicken yakisoba, they don't skimp on anything. The food is always fresh and delicious. The helping is definitely worth the money spent. We ordered over the phone and then by the time we get there the food is ready. So service is standard time, which I would expect when the food is that good. I've never had a bad experience here like I've had at many other teriyaki places.“

“I will definitely recommend Happy Crab. Was invited to Happy Crab for casual business lunch today. When I first see its Signature name, I knew it couldn’t be wrong. I love their decoration and sea views. Very romantic and elegant restaurant. The food was served quick and all flavors are delicious as well as creative. “I have come here a handful of times with my partner and I love it! I don't think I have ever had a bad dish here. I try to order something different each time but there is so much to choose from! And so far my favorite is the basil stir fry and the eggplant basil stir fry. The portions are generous for the price. I like to order 2 or 3 dishes and then take the leftovers. They last me a few days afterward! The staff is very friendly and I enjoy my conversations with them. All in all, a great place. If I lived closer, I'd probably come here several times a week.“

“It was fine, decently priced but food was pretty mid overall.

The Good:
The Karaage was well cooked and juicy
The Chicken thigh yakitori was good
Happy hour pricing was reasonable
Friendly servers

The Bad:
The ramen broth was....not good. It was like a watered down Costco ramen broth with noodles and toppings. The pork belly was overcooked. The toppings were haphazardly chosen and distributed.
The eel skewers were cold and not grilled at the time of order but were clearly pulled from the sushi case.

The rest was fine. If you're craving izakaya food late night it will do the job but if it is early enough consider other options.

Id give it 3.5 stars but I'll round up since the service was decent“

“Just went there for the Gyudon and it exceeded my expectations. It was very delicious and on the spot. Down side is nothing to do with the restaurant but parking. It is hard to find a good parking spot. However will be coming back but probably picking up the food rather than dinning in.“

“A riotous experience of hybrid Japanese food and interesting other accoutrement. Make sure to check out the specials board by the bar for some interesting other things. Try Japanese style hamburger steak and Japanese style spaghetti in a bento box of all things! Open a little bit later in Seattle so you can get in your late night munchies. Weekends are probably banging here, but I usually go during the week. And it's on the second floor of FYI.“

“Nice casual Sichuan noodle place. The one wait person tending all the tables was busy but locked in, and checked our order (unprompted) for honey to ensure it was all vegan. The mocktail and pickles were refreshing, though the mocktail would have been more interesting if less smoky. The sesame noodles would have been tastier with more garlic, ginger, and scallions and less salt, but it had the perfect amount of white pepper.“

“We were so busy running around that we didn’t even realize it was almost 10 PM and suddenly, almost every restaurant was already closed. Then Nua popped up and we saw they were open until 1 AM(on Saturday) Such a surprise!

We headed over right away and ordered peek kai tod, khao soi, pla tod, and tom zaap and wow, every single dish was incredible. So delicious, full of flavor, and truly authentic Thai taste.

We ended our night with the special delicious Thai dessert roti gluay and it was the perfect sweet finish

“A fantastic little spot for great Chinese food. Good prices, great options, and most importantly great taste. Only minor gripe I had was it says open till 11PM which is fine, but I was surprised to see table reservations for 10:15, 10:30, and 10:45 so I assumed maybe it’s a last entry is 11PM kind of thing. I booked 10:15 and got there on time, but was told that there’s no more seating and it would need to be take out. However, the host/server was still ready to seat me and my friend upon hearing we had a reservation which I really appreciate. I got take out anyways because I did not want to be annoying. And the food was out quickly and it was delicious! So keep doing what you do, I eat from here all the time, but please remove the table reservations that late if they aren’t actually real!“

“Best pho and Vietnamese food I’ve ever had! Super fun place with amazing food. Stopped in and was seated immediately. Every item we tried was outstanding. It’s rare to find a gem that has great service, food, and atmosphere and these people have it figured out. Also, met the owner and she talked to us about how these are her recipes. It just tastes like home cooking and not actual plug and play restaurant food. We’re lifers at this place now! I mean it’s so good we went back the next day.“
