“I ordered takeout from here and all of the food was so delicious. I ordered the three shredded fried noodles, general tso’s chicken, dry fried green beans, cucumber salad with woodear mushroom. I was so happy to taste the spice! It’s a numbing almost sichuan style spice in the green beans, cucumber salad, and general tso’s chicken! Will definitely be coming back again :)“

“Small hole in the wall place. You order on a kiosk and pick up at the counter. Bus your own tables. Was honestly a bit loud.

The food has a really interesting flavor profile. Totally different from other noodle places I’ve tried. I’m guessing this is closer to what you would find in China or something. The broth doesn’t have a strong sweet or MSG taste at all. It’s like a grainy vegetable/beef taste. Pretty interesting.

It’s good, but wasn’t my favorite in the world. And also a bit expensive. But I can respect it. The flavors are unique for sure and every so often can be quite enjoyable.“

We were one of their first guests in those early days and eat here so much the owners know me by name! If I were qualified to give food awards, this place would win my 2024 Best of Seattle award! 🥇👏🏻✨ Ps. They do not accept reservations - it’s first come first serve. Around 6pm, they go on a waitlist and a line starts to form outside. Don’t bother calling to get on the waitlist - they won’t even do that for me! You have to show up in person to get on the list.“

Both Fisherman’s noodle and Phnom Penh Special had a nice amount of toppings. Add their chili oil for a kick. First time trying WIDE rice noodles, highly recommended!

Then we ordered the chicken which was super crispy on the outside and juicy inside. We also ordered the laksa noodles which was heaven and we also got the ribs. “I ordered the katsu bento, and the tonkatsu sauce was missing from the box. Since the sauce is a key part of the dish, the meal didn’t taste the way it should. The yaki niku fries were the best part—they were seasoned well and actually enjoyable.

When a dish is missing an expected component, especially a signature sauce, customers rate the meal as less satisfying and less worth the price. That’s exactly how this order felt.

I might come back for the fries, but I wouldn’t order the katsu bento again unless the sauce is included.“

“I have come here a handful of times with my partner and I love it! I don't think I have ever had a bad dish here. I try to order something different each time but there is so much to choose from! And so far my favorite is the basil stir fry and the eggplant basil stir fry. The portions are generous for the price. I like to order 2 or 3 dishes and then take the leftovers. They last me a few days afterward! The staff is very friendly and I enjoy my conversations with them. All in all, a great place. If I lived closer, I'd probably come here several times a week.“

“Went here with my family. We had reservations so we were able to go in right away (there was a lot of people waiting). The drinks were really good and the food was awesome! Our waitress was very nice and suggested to split burger before we even asked (our family likes to share). We even made a reservation in two weeks to take other friends there! Definitely recommend!“

“I don’t know what’s taken us so long to check out Nua seeing that we literally are a 5 minute walk away, but this is now a regular for us.

The basil fried rice here is absolutely the best I’ve ever had - it’s packed with so much flavor and the tofu is always done right. It has become a staple whenever I get food here. But the real star is the Kao Soi - there isn’t a better one in the city, and is a perfect meal in winter.

The massaman curry is pretty nice too. The rice portion that come with it is actually one the larger side than most places.“

“I don't know what kind of magic they got goin on in that kitchen, but their kalua pork is the best I've had. Even being to the islands multiple times and my husband being from there (who also agrees). I cannot recommend it enough! “To-go Pho $20 (steak + brisket). Super fresh, clean, and lots of meat. I hate when pho comes with hardly any meat but Pho Viet Anh has LARGE portions. The pho broth is on the sweeter side if you prefer that style. Everything is clean and nicely packaged - One size pho.“

“This is truly my favorite restaurant. I go here allllll the time. My favorite dishes are the khao soi, side salad (their dressing is phenomenal), cashew nut entree, spicy basil entree. If you want a simple takeout, this is the place to go. They also have a large projector where they sometimes show live streams of night markets so it’s a super inviting environment to dine in as well. You can also watch them cook because the kitchen is connected. I literally love this place so much, a review is long overdue. 1000000/10

“For a Tuesday afternoon, the line wasn’t too long, but they were definitely busy. To be honest, I can’t even remember if we got the Pineapple Bun or the Curry Beef Hom Bow. I remember it was good, but not out-of-this-world amazing. I would still say it’s worth a stop if you’re touring Pike’s Place (especially if you love Chinese pastries). However, since I can’t even remember what I ordered, it wasn’t as memorable as I had hoped.“

“First visit. Had reservation for one of the later slots on Christmas Eve. Although the restaurant was busy, the table was ready and chairs had Santa-themed covers, which was a nice touch. Server was efficient and took order in a timely manner, and food came out hot, fresh, and surprisingly quick, but server definitely had her hands full. The food was delicious. Be sure to get some spicy soup dumplings.... yummy, and I was told they are the 'best' ones. That said, I'll try the others on future visits. The duck was notably delicious, as was the sauteed bok choy, which was more than enough for four people to share. Our party also ordered the fried tofu, which was refreshingly light-fried and non-greasy. Also got a shrimp and noodle dish that was good, but we either received the veggie version... I don't remember seeing shrimp (or finding any) as I ate, but noodles were still good and it would take a lot more than that for me to have complained on Christmas Eve (or any other night, really). All the food was delicious and served quickly. Looking forward to the next opportunity for me to eat there.“

“I will definitely recommend Happy Crab. Was invited to Happy Crab for casual business lunch today. When I first see its Signature name, I knew it couldn’t be wrong. I love their decoration and sea views. Very romantic and elegant restaurant. The food was served quick and all flavors are delicious as well as creative. It is lucky to get the chance to meet the owner Lily, she has great personality. Great smile, being honest & adorable. I admire what Happy Crab said: Life is a journey, happiness is a choice, and every meal is a celebration. I wish every guest is happy in Happy Crab.“
