Kauai is the ONLY place my Hawaiian son-in-law will go when he wants/needs a taste of home! You go for the food and the people. It's in a small retail strip in Georgetown. Nothing fancy.
They have catered each grandson's 1st birthday celebrations!!! YUM!!
And of course, you have to stop next door at the bakery for amazing cakes and sweets. We recommend the Guava cake!!

We visited this restaurant on day 3 of our Seattle vacation and it was mad good. Not only in the sense that the food and service was impeccable but I’m so mad I couldn’t physically fit more food in my body, I’m mad I’m thousands of miles away and I won’t get to experience this again this year, and I’m mad I didn’t find it in time to consume it every day of my trip. First time trying their food out. I was really craving Kalua pork w/cabbage poi and Lomi salmon. Unfortunately, when I got there it was almost closing😅 We got kalua pork and it was so good not too salty and very juicey. I also got kimchee cucumber to eat with it. My other half enjoyed his lawai chicken and was raving about the Mac salad!!
