Appetizing sushi/isakaya in the Georgetown neighborhood. Daimonji sampler featured fresh selections; also, fresh board displayed above sushi counter. Sushi master was friendly, and he knew his fish.
Diamonji is a hidden gem. Don’t let the strip-mall location fool you (free, easy parking just off the freeway). This Japanese restaurant is delicious. Small family business with a full sushi bar and also table seating, they serve fresh sushi rolls and sashimi (special of the night was toro, New Zealand salmon and hamachi…all were so delicious), plus a variety of traditional Japanese dishes including udon, rice don’s, yakisoba, curry katsu, and bento boxes. My friend and I had such an awesome experience. We were greeted by friendly staff and a cup of hot tea. Stephanie guided us in ordering a wonderful meal. The sashimi and maki are top of the line.
