Daimonji is definitely my favorite Sushi spot in Georgetown / SODO, perhaps even the entire South-side. Great fare, a relaxed atmosphere and fantastic service.

We have been dining at this restaurant for over twenty years. The sushi is fresh. They make a delicious Miso soup. The menu has so many delicious choices.

My friend and I had such an awesome experience. We were greeted by friendly staff and a cup of hot tea. Stephanie guided us in ordering a wonderful meal. The sashimi and maki are top of the line.

Appetizing sushi/isakaya in the Georgetown neighborhood. Daimonji sampler featured fresh selections; also, fresh board displayed above sushi counter. Sushi master was friendly, and he knew his fish.

We come here all the time! Sushi is super fresh, balanced, and fairly priced. The family that runs it is incredible. Warm and inviting and happy to be there. Highly recommend the Allison roll (for their daughter Allison) and the Katsu Curry. My bf tries something new each time, but I go for the Allison roll and to steal bites of his curry. Give this local small business a shot for a perfect lowkey evening. *Can also confirm we've gotten their takeout and the sushi is just as fresh!*

This place needs some improvements. Good food but some dishes are expensive. The owners need to stay away from speaking to customers if not invited. Please don't offer soup and tea immediately after sitting, give some time to settle and breath. Please don't serve everyone's sushi on one plate, you can cross contaminate the food.

Diamonji is a hidden gem. Don’t let the strip-mall location fool you (free, easy parking just off the freeway). This Japanese restaurant is delicious. Small family business with a full sushi bar and also table seating, they serve fresh sushi rolls and sashimi (special of the night was toro, New Zealand salmon and hamachi…all were so delicious), plus a variety of traditional Japanese dishes including udon, rice don’s, yakisoba, curry katsu, and bento boxes. We went to try the tempura udon (since a lot of sushi/Japanese restaurants don’t serve the traditional dishes) and was not disappointed. The broth was so rich and delicious and the tempura batter was very light. Highly recommend (no reservations were needed and walked in on a weekend night and sat down immediately).

literally the only sushi place for me. my family and i go there for every birthday, and the service, food, and atmosphere are always incredible. the people are very nice, and it is very nicely decorated inside. they have a sushi bar as well as tons of seating, even though it may look smaller from the outside, it extends back a ways. i love the wide range of dishes and the incredible quality of the food. their prices are extremely consistent and they make an effort to maintain them without sacrificing any quality. they have a lot of specials, usually a couple new ones every few days, but i’ve heard that thursday is when they get the freshest fish. i hope that you consider paying them a visit very soon, it is very worth it!Parking: smaller lot, but always has at least 5 empty spacesKid-friendliness: very nice environment, kids are very welcome, and there are definitely options for pickier eaters!Wheelchair accessibility: no steps, just a small curb, and the road pace is plenty wide enough to accommodate!

Yummy sushi, with a simple menu to choose from. California rolls and Seattle roll were really good! Only red or white wine, but it's a hole in the wall sushi spot, so that was expected. Super nice staff, and the ast going restaurant. Will go again!

First time eating Japanese food here. Everything was delicious and staff were very friendly. The customer service is above and beyond here. Will definitely come back to try other things on the menu.

Fantastic sushi in this unexpected place. This family-run restaurant has been in the same hands for 15 years. Always a warm welcome and delicious specials.

Fast friendly service and excellent food. I have not had anything that wasn't good. But quite simply some of the best nigiri and sashimi I have ever had. Fish is perfect. Rice texture is excellent.
