“A great place for late night food. Our server and I talked bands - he was surprised a geezer like me knew Amyl and the Sniffers. A table near was all in Alice in Wonderland costumes.
The food was really good - well prepared and flavorful, coming from a microscopic kitchen. We had chicken tenders and a burger. Next time I'm having breakfast - the bennies looked amazing.
As I said, just a great late night joint, reminding me of old school Seattle. If you're hungry late, don't go to that national chain. Come here instead. The food is better, the people are great, and you can get a beer. Perfect!”

I am 4 and 1/2 years sober, and to go out and enjoy an exquisite meal and only drink water can be a drag, but you all had an amazing selection of mocktails, my partners and I enjoyed immensely. “I brought a friend with me from out of town to visit this cat cafe- neither of us had been before. The staff were very kind and it was clear how much love is put in to the care and well being of the kitties. I’d recommend coming here, they have cute stickers and cat toys and other merch as well! Bring a few friends, I think the experience would be best with a slightly bigger group of friends (maybe 4-5) just so you have more people you know in the room with you (meaning, fewer strangers in the room) since they do cap the number of people that can be in the room at a time (for the kitties safety and wellbeing!).
Parking: May be difficult to find a spot really close, will likely have to park a couple blocks out on the street. Parking was cheap, about 5$ for just over an hour. It wasn’t TERRIBLE, but give yourself some extra time and grace to find a spot.”

“Solid brunch experience with delicious food and reasonable (by Seattle standards) prices. The menu features classic dishes with fresh, local ingredients, and our meals were well-prepared and flavorful.
We got an omelette, pork schnitzel, and cornmeal pancake. It was all very good!
However, our experience was slightly dampened (literally!) by the weather. Due to limited indoor seating, we were seated outside on a chilly and rainy Seattle morning. While the covered patio offered some protection and the heater offered some warmth, it was still quite cold, which detracted from the overall ambiance and enjoyment of the meal. At least the coffee was hot!
Despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions, the quality of the food and service at Harry's Fine Foods makes it a worthwhile dining destination. Just remember to dress warmly and hope for sunshine!”
“Tried this very special “takeout only omakase sushi box”, Edomae style ( use cured/aged fish, and red vinegar seasoning in rice). The executive chef, chef Ryo, has worked in many renowned restaurant including Michelin star sushi restaurant “Sushi Sho”. Before joining this new restaurant “Ltd Edition Sushi” in capitol hill, he worked side by side with chef Nakazawa-an icon of edomae style in Japan, at both Sushi Sho Tokyo and Sushi Sho Honolulu. The sushi omakase box and kids fish bowl are both very sophisticated, the curing and aging techniques brings out the deep complex flavor of each fish and gives each fish this extra tender texture, the taste profile as such is hard to find here in Seattle. Chef sake flight ( we tried Haneya Junmai Ginjo and Hidakami Junmai today), one is floral and one on the dry side, pair with his sushi very well. Sushi is in a very elegant wooden box and everything you will need for the experience including a separate soy sauce dipping dish is prepared for the guest. This is, truly, a perfect omakase takeout experience. 💕💕😋”

If you’re ever in the area, make sure to check it out. It was so good to be with the family and finish up some details for today’s big event.”

“After having been to Driftwood twelve times I can confidently say it’s the only restaurant in Seattle worth dining at. Lots of places make claims about freshness and local ingredients, but chef Dan Mallahan shops at the Farmers Market two days a week. It’s not a joke or a gimmick. If you want to eat food grown exclusively in Washington State, that tastes real, then Driftwood is the spot. They serve tomatoes that actually have flavor, delicious veggie dishes, and meat and fish that are tender and juicy. They combine so many flavors in a subtle harmony making each bite you take delightful. Not to mention the killer cocktails. The vibe is beautiful but chill. The staff are lovely and kind. Everything about Driftwood is real. The food, the people, even the hand towels in the bathroom. Concerned about prices at a farm-to-table restaurant and getting enough to eat? Go with a friend and share two starters and a main. For example, I just had the Olsen Farm Kennebec JoJos, the Piece by Piece Farm Tempura Delicata squash, and the Butcher’s Cut Pork Chop. Yum!”

“Best Starbucks drive thru I have been to. We arrived back late from Puerto Vallarta. Got a coffee so I could safely make the drive back. Not only grateful for the 24 hour service but they were extremely fast and had amazing customer service for it being so late. Always nice to go to an establishment where you feel appreciated as a customer. They made the coffee exceptionally as well as the treats. Highly recommend this location.”

“So creative, fresh, and delicious! This is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. I’ve been here since they opened, and their menu is always changing as they refine their dishes and grow. The owner is also really nice.
Everything here is tasty, but my favorite is their signature dish, Pak Mor Yuan, which is very similar to Vietnamese bánh cuốn. I saw a reel of them making it fresh and it is no wonder that it is so tasty.
I also like Guay Tiew Lohd, which uses similar rice noodles/paper.”

They understand what they are selling and have streamlined it so well that it creates for the perfect experience. Wherever this truck sits is a destination spot if you ever visit the city.”
“After living across from Copine for nearly a year, and then moving, we finally made a reservation, and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The restaurant’s intimate, refined atmosphere is complemented by attentive, knowledgeable service. From the amuse (not pictured) to dessert, every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. Overall, the combination of exquisite food and impeccable service makes Copine a must-visit in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood. We’ll definitely be returning.

“Really good. I got the carnitas plate. The pork was delicate, slow cooked, and not over trimmed. Our friend The pig is not a slim fellow, and Mexican food uses the whole thing. The crowd and staff are largely Mexican. Very friendly clean place. Not fancy. Very well priced for what you get compared with the usual Seattle prices. I love it and I learned Mexican food in Mexico. Legitimate carniceria. They have the homade Mexican drinks (rice, hibiscus, guava, and the red one that is kind of salty), and the condiments table. But they did not have the pickled onions and carrots. Of course it's family oriented, and of course there is Mexican soccer on the giant screens. I will come back and try their fried fish plate (whole tilapia).”

Our omakase experience at Suzuki was absolutely incredible. Of course, the food was amazing, but what made it truly special was the entire experience, from the service to the atmosphere.
Everyone who served us, including the chefs, was so kind, warm, and genuinely happy to be there. You could really feel the positive energy and strong bond among the staff, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.
Each dish was beautifully presented and came with thoughtful explanations, adding so much depth to the meal. It was a feast not just for the taste buds, but also for the eyes and ears. The ambiance was simply perfect.
Without a doubt, it was the best birthday dinner I’ve ever had.

Cheap Eats
“Great little spot on Greenwood.
Very unassuming storefront, and something about it seems to exude, "local favorite," before you even step in the door.
Very laid back, but professional staff. Welcoming, kind, and just the right amount of hipster. :)
Surprisingly simple, straightforward menu but that doesn't mean it is boring or mundane! You'll find variety and unexpected depth in the dozen or so offerings including garlic rice, banana ketchup and coconut collard greens. There are the more basic fried potatoes and fried pickles if that's more your bag.
Top of off with a delicious desert which is some kind of mochi cake with coconut whipped cream.
I'm writing this a couple days after eating there, and I've convinced myself it's time to return.
On my way back there now - and you should do the same.
But you better get there before they sell out ! :)
Bonus : when you finish, 100% of the restaurant's packaging and waste goes straight to the compost!

“Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. You will leave with a full, joyous stomach … you will be very satisfied. Happy eating!”
“Nothing here is cheap, and that's a good thing because you're getting what you pay for. If you need an indulgent breakfast (the egg n sausage sandwich is insane), top-tier pastries, and high end coffee, this is a great place to go. The interior is pretty - lots of natural light - but the abundance of hard surfaces means it gets pretty loud regardless of how many people are actually in there. There's a small patio for sunny days, which I reckon would be a little easier to have a chat with friends in.”

“Hands down, the best pho you’ll find in Seattle! This place is killing it! I’m incredibly lucky to live in the neighborhood and I’ve been coming here since the day they opened. We were one of their first guests in those early days and eat here so much the owners know me by name! If I were qualified to give food awards, this place would win my 2024 Best of Seattle award! 🥇👏🏻✨ Ps. They do not accept reservations - it’s first come first serve. Around 6pm, they go on a waitlist and a line starts to form outside. Don’t bother calling to get on the waitlist - they won’t even do that for me! You have to show up in person to get on the list.”

“Finally was able to try Homer. Been meaning to ever since it was introduced to the neighborhood. We arrived at 4:50 on a Tuesday Night. No line but the restaurant quickly filled up within 20 minutes. It was SO loud. We had to shout at each other from across the table and couldn't have a decent conversation. The service was prompt and friendly. We ordered the Pita and top 3 spreads, tahini sauce, Roasted Chicken, Whole Petrole Sole, Anchovies with Harissa Butter and Sourdough, Grilled Medjool Dates, Grilled Asparagus, Burnt Cabbage and Crispy Basmati Rice Cake. Out of the top 3 spreads the Labneh was our least favorite; a little too sour. We ordered so much food but still ordered another round of Pita bc the other spreads were THAT good. Special shout-out to the Pistachio and Whipped Garlic spreads. Reminds me of one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants in New York. The real star of the show was the Burnt Cabbage. It was SOOO good. Perfectly charred on the edges and sweet and tender leaves. All the flavors balanced so well together. I could drink the sauce. Don't pass it up. The chili fruit sauce on the roasted chicken was a little too pasty and thick. It sat on a bed of soggy pita. Other than the crisp chicken skin everything just felt thick and dry. Especially coming from all the thick spreads we had for apps. The dates were delicious and could almost pass as a meat dish with how flavorful it was but just a tad on the salty side from the fish sauce. The fish was perfectly cooked and flavorful. I would pass on the Basmati Rice Cake. It wasn't as crispy as intended and a little chewy with no flavor. We would also pass on the Anchovies and sourdough. It was super salty and couldn't taste the Harissa butter. I definitely would come back and order the top 3 spreads, the DELICIOUS cabbage and try some of the other protein dishes. Thank you Homer! The service charge is added, then when you pay, the machine asks for a tip. The food isn't cheap, and I thought that was very excessive. The restaurant states: "*A 22% service charge is added to every party. Meesha retains 100% of this charge. It is used to pay commissions, provide benefits, and most importantly provide a living wage to our entire staff." I have no issue with a living wage, but this cost should be rolled into the price of the food.”

I have tried all vegetarian, vegan versions. Last night my son and daughter-in-law brought me to MOTO. I ordered the vegan pepperoni pizza. The first bite made me literally want to cry. This was the best pepperoni pizza of ANY kind I have eaten in my considerably long life! Thank you Lee, Nancy, and the entire MOTO crew! I cannot possibly provide a high enough recommendation, this is the alpha and omega of pizza!”

Lots of places make claims about freshness and local ingredients, but chef Dan Mallahan shops at the Farmers Market two days a week. It’s not a joke or a gimmick. They serve tomatoes that actually have flavor, delicious veggie dishes, and meat and fish that are tender and juicy. I went in an hour before they opened without realizing it, and the friendly owner invited me to come back at lunchtime. I'm glad I did. The owner greeted me again warmly. I had veggie pho with tofu and a Vietnamese coffee, both absolutely delicious. The servers were friendly as well. There is indoor and outdoor seating.
