“Me and my family were in town from Philadelphia to see the Phillies play the Marlins and the first thing we looked up was “best authentic Mexican Cusine.” This place was the spot that came up first and it didn’t disappoint! Between the four of us we had taco platters with every meat option and all of the tamales. We were all satisfied with our meals. I really hope to get back here and have their breakfast dishes.“

“Wildly surprised by the quality and taste of the food! I was skeptical as cafes in/near museums don’t always have the best food and rely on convenience for patronage. I would happily go back just to eat their fry bread again! Somewhat expensive as you pay over $8 for one fry bread taco but it was so good that I went back and ordered a 2nd taco after finishing the first. The food came out quickly and we barely had to wait. Pleasantly surprised with the vegetarian options!“

“Malena's is my favorite taco in Seattle. The burritos are HUGE and the tacos (hard shell) are delicious. Guacamole is legit and i could eat their salsas with everything. Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Rolled tacos as good as Olvera street in LA. Burritos put chain stores to shame. Such good food and freshly prepared to order.“

“One of the Best Taco trucks in South Seattle! They are so Friendly and Fast, and everything on their Menu is Fantastic. 🌮The Fresh Tortillas and Veggies paired with cilantro, cheese and grilled protein are a perfect match! They even enlightened us on the deliciousness that happens when you put your Gansito in the fridge, its soo Yummy!“

“We did the 4 PC chicken and small chicken strips and it was delicious. Great flavor of the potato salad and homemade tartar sauce was perfect. It was a lot of food and well worth the drive there from our house. staff was friendly. Smells wonderful inside. We'll be back again for sure.“

“🔋fuimos con la familia y pusimos una order grande y el chavo que nos cobro nos cobro de mas...nosotros sacamos las cuentas de lo que decian los precios en su menu y nos salia en menos de 100 dolares y nos estava cobrando casi 190. despues k volvimos aser la cuenta juntos fue como de 130 y todavia no nos davan bien los numeros. ya no dijimos nada por que pensavamos dejar propina pero asi nomas no.las aguas de orchata que pedimos estavan bien desabridas y bien tivias. la comida esta buena el pastor y el suadero si se recomienda la asada no tanto⭐️⭐️ esto fue en chicago en la Western y Howard“

“I’ve been all over the US, I have been to a ton of Taquerias, let me tell you these tacos were amazing, no handmade tortillas but it’s ok because they crisp up the tortillas which makes them taste even better. I had Asada and chorizo 🔥 my wife who is very picky said her Tripa tacos were perfect!! The salsas were very tasty, my favorite was as the red salsa. 🌮 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮“

“The food is always good. It always hits the spot. I usually get an asada burrito, the consistency of how the burrito is made is not always the same as in sometimes it's wrapped tight and nothing usually falls out sometimes it's wrapped loose and everything falls out.“

“This is how my abuela used to make tacos! They’re actually spicy tacos, not just labeled spicy! They weren’t very helpful when we asked about vegan options, and the portions weren’t enough for leftovers (which we always have). Otherwise, it was a good option in the area. Didn’t know they had a vegan soup, but maybe it wasn’t available that day? I would’ve given it 3 stars, but considering the options walking distance from here, it is very good! Updated from previous review on 2026-10-05“

“Their food is delicious and authentic, the customer service is always great and I love the decor. The last time I was there, I had this delicious drink in the picture, I think it was called El Diablito. It was like a tamarind slushy with a hint of spicy. Very refreshing and yummy! I highly recommend this hidden gem.“

“Just your standard taco truck! I’ve tried most the proteins they all delicious. They also have birria as well. The burritos are my favorite but you don’t forget about the tacos or tortas either! Prices are reasonable, there’s usually parking available but not a lot. Service is fast and friendly.“

“I ordered 2 tamales, one red one green, a mesquite, and chicken nachos. By far my favorite nachos, the chips are homemade and were fresh. The chicken had good flavor and seasonings. The tamales taste like the kind my Mom and Tias used to make and had good flavor. The mesquite was prepared very well, a good sized portion and again tasted authentic. I would recommend and can't wait to eat there again.“

“Food was delicious, service was great and atmosphere gets 3 stars cuz it was cold and wet out, but it's Seattle, so 🤷🏻.
My husband got a combination dish and I got Carne Asada Fries. We spent close to $40 I believe and it was worth every cent! After eating, I was actually full, which isn't a common thing for me usually.“

“Whether you follow a plant-exclusive (vegan)/plant-based diet or not, you will LOVE Rojo's. It is hands down the best Mexican food. Nothing fancy, or extra, just simple, well-flavored food that honors authentic Mexican cuisine. Plus, you'll usually be greeted by the nicest dude who has the biggest smile (looks like a skater boy - it's a compliment!) and seems just so happy to be there. This is the kind of place you'll wish you could give more than five stars to. And trust me on this: GET THE AL PASTOR! It's the best. The asada is good too if you like really limey things but the Al Pastor is just something special *chef's kiss*. Thank you, Rojo's! <3“
