“Wildly surprised by the quality and taste of the food! I was skeptical as cafes in/near museums don’t always have the best food and rely on convenience for patronage. I would happily go back just to eat their fry bread again! Somewhat expensive as you pay over $8 for one fry bread taco but it was so good that I went back and ordered a 2nd taco after finishing the first. The food came out quickly and we barely had to wait. Pleasantly surprised with the vegetarian options!“

“We hosted out engagement party at My Friend Derek's and it could not have gone any better!!!!! Not only is this some of the best pizza in Seattle, the staff took exceptionally good care of us. It felt like the pizza was endless, and they made so many off menu fun pizzas for us. The drinks were amazing (spritzes, natural wine, craft beer) and the vibes were top tier. Our guests had an absolute blast.“

“Came here on a hot 82 degree day and they had a shaded lounge with air conditioning, running water to wash hands, and reasonably priced food. I didn’t even think I was that hungry but once I had a bite I could not stop it was that good! I am 100% coming back here, what a pleasant experience. You can really tell the owner loves what he does and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful, even uses saffron for the rice! This is one gem of a food truck in Seattle.“

“I happened upon this food truck by luck. I had never tried Somalia cuisine before, and was curious First I was greated by friendly smiling faces that made me feel immediately welcomed. They handed me a menu, with pictures, that I could look at without staring at the menu board. I decided on a Sambusa as an appetizer because it looked and sounded like a Samosa. My entree was a Bariis chicken bowl with a side salad. It was fabulous! The Sambusa was shaped like a Samosa, but different. The pastry was delicate like a puff pastry and the filling was simple lean ground beef, served with mild or spicy dipping sauce. The Bariis chicken bowl was flavorful, fresh and full of flavor. Perfectly balanced. I will look for this food truck again.“

“This place offers the best Mexican food experience around! I had the pleasure of meeting Marco, the owner, and he was incredibly kind, gracious, and welcoming. The staff was so helpful and patient with all of my questions, and they gave me amazing recommendations.
When I got home and tasted the food, I couldn't believe how incredible it was. It honestly felt like I was in heaven! Every ingredient was fresh, and the flavors were absolutely outstanding. My family was just as impressed and couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was.

“This location is significantly upgraded from the last time I visited, many years ago. Now, they have lots of seating and decent sized parking lot. No more eating in the Home Depot parking lot, hooray!

The food is always great, no matter what I order. Today it was pollo enchiladas with verde sauce. It was a substantial amount of food at a good price.“

“We tried the original and salmon cheesesteaks and my god at first sight thought there was no way we could finish as the portions were generous but after each bite you just want more so we didn’t have leftovers but most definitely will order again! You can tell it’s made fresh and their special seasoning and custom sauces they use are crazy good. “Incredible flavor, perfect breakfast! I ordered a single pod with Methi Chicken and a Mango Lassi. I am so tired of every breakfast place being the same thing on repeat. I don’t want to start my day with everything full of sugar. ‘Healthy’ breakfast places charge an arm and a leg with portions too large for me, I’m child size. This was just what I needed. Some savory chicken and veggies in a toasted wrap, full of flavor and spice, not over sized, not over priced. Yum! The guy was helpful in explaining things to me and helping me decide.“

“I’ve been a regular customer since 2023. I usually love my mango chicken but today more than 75% of my dish had broccoli in it and hardly any chicken.

I understand everything’s gotten expensive. I’d be ok to pay more to eat what I usually eat. Was so annoyed to see the dish size go down plus the ridiculous amount of broccoli in it.

Please go back to the usual recipe and increase prices.“

“I ordered 2 tamales, one red one green, a mesquite, and chicken nachos. By far my favorite nachos, the chips are homemade and were fresh. The chicken had good flavor and seasonings. The tamales taste like the kind my Mom and Tias used to make and had good flavor. The mesquite was prepared very well, a good sized portion and again tasted authentic. I would recommend and can't wait to eat there again.“

“I came here to try the food and honestly it was the BEST tacos I have ever had. While i did read other reviews AFTER i tried them because i don't want people to impact my opinion. I feel people feels they are too entitled and should be eating at home. They don't deserve good food just some nasty taco bell at best.

This is a food truck, don't expect to find dine dinning tables but in return you will find very very reasonable pricing comparison to the amount of food you will get its definitely alot and filling AND FULL OF FLAVOR.
People seriously forget whats the purpose of these reviews is to help the owners how to improve to make the user experience much better. What makes their food even better is the people who are serving it because they serve it with their hearts. Its what make them even taste better.

Im here for the first time and I am very foodie, I can tell you this place deserves 100/100 stars and definitely its underrated. People don't understand how expensive the groceries are and some say expensive? For 3 tacos 3.99 for a tacos how cheap do you want it to be?
