“What a treat! I am not gonna lie, the initial intrigue for our visit was the historical aspect.
But this changed quickly.
Il Nido is an amazing restaurant with focus on all the details that make a visit there a wonderful experience.

“Great place for quick bites with a lot of options. They have self order booths with photos so its easy to order too.
We ordered a duck jianbing and didn’t expect much but overall I would say this is an easy 8-8.5/10. Outer layer is soft, very eggy serves with the shredded duck inside and the crispy fried stick. They also spreaded a chili sauce inside. So savory and have a good kick.

“I had the set of 3 tacos with rice and beans. Great set and the portion was good. Got me pretty full but not overly so. Didn’t give 5 stars because I asked my food without cilantro, but the tacos were very much sprinkled with it. They were very busy at that time so didn’t have the heart to complain and I picked it out as good as I could. Not emergency because for me it’s no allergies, just tastes like soap in my mouth. We started our meal with a trio of appetizers that were all absolutely delicious. The FLORA BAKEHOUSE GOUGERES were cheesy and satisfying, the BURRATA & STONE FRUIT was a refreshing combination of flavors, and the MEDITERRANEAN SPREADS were a flavorful medley of ingredients. For our main course, we couldn't resist the SUBSTANTIAL menu items. The KIMCHI BLACK BEAN ALMOND BURGER was a flavorful and hearty option, but our favorite was the FRIED TRUMPET MUSHROOM & POTATO WAFFLE. “The food and service are phenomenal. We’ve eaten the entire menu twice over over the course of several trips and every single thing is excellent. The family is so lovely and we love that they’re kid friendly. The meat and three is a great value for the amount of food and easily feeds two adults and a toddler. Cannot recommend Zax enough.“

“So tasty and can't wait to eat here again! I am vegetarian (a failed vegan) and worried the food would be a let down given I indulge in real cheese and eggs these days. However, I had the breakfast totchos (tatertot nachos) from the weekend brunch menu and the flavor was excellent. Husband enjoyed his breakfast burrito and bloody mary too. I also had a strawberry infused tequila drink with lemons and lemonade and that was also great. Friendly service, low key environment. Want to try the French dip next.“

“Some Random Bar is a great neighborhood spot in Belltown, right around the corner of 1st Avenue and Vine Street. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, making it a good place to stop for drinks and food without feeling overly formal. The menu goes beyond basic bar food, with a good variety of dishes and cocktails.
The location is especially convenient if you’re walking around Belltown, and there are plenty of other restaurants and businesses nearby. It has the kind of neighborhood atmosphere that fits this part of Seattle well. A nice option for a relaxed evening with friends or a casual meal.“

“I have the great luck of eating home cooked Thai and Cambodian food so my opinion is colored by regional home cooked meals. With that, Phnom Penh Noodle House serves up traditional and deliciois Cambodian foods in generous portions at reasonable prices. The servers and wait staff are friendly, skilled, and easy to chat with. You will find three generational dining at many of tables and it reminds me of attending a family event. Come for the great food and come back for the easy going atmosphere.“

“NEKO Cat Cafe is such a fun, feel-good spot in Seattle. You come for the coffee, but honestly, you stay for the cats. The space is bright, clean, and thoughtfully set up so the cats can roam freely while guests relax.
The drinks are solid, but the real highlight is spending time with adoptable cats in a calm, cozy setting. It’s a cute date idea, a stress-reliever after a long day, or just a sweet way to support animal adoption while enjoying a coffee.“

“Best poke in Washington! We’ve tried a lot of poke spots, and Red Bowls is still the one we keep coming back to.
The fish is always fresh, the portions are generous, the ingredients taste high quality, and the bowls are packed with flavor. They don’t skimp on the good stuff either, so you actually feel like you’re getting your money’s worth.
The staff is always friendly (sweet Korean elderly couple), service is quick, and the quality has been consistently excellent every time we’ve gone.
If you love poke, Red Bowls is a must-try. Easy 5 stars and our favorite poke spot in Washington.“
