“We catered food from Yamada Teriyaki and were blown away. The samosas were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the House Special Fried Rice was a total hit, generously loaded with tender meat, shrimp, and vegetables, all seasoned to perfection.

Everything arrived fresh, hot, and beautifully packed. The portions were generous, and the quality was outstanding. The service was smooth, friendly, and reliable. For the price and portion sizes, the catering option is absolutely worth it.

One thing I also really like is that Mandalay Deli Mart is right next door, so it is super convenient to grab drinks, snacks, Burmese goodies, or quick deli items all in one stop.

Highly recommend Yamada Teriyaki for catering, authentic flavors, great presentation, and excellent value. We will definitely be back for more.“

“First time there. Didn't know what to order. Server was very polite but I wished she knows which burgers are best sellers when I asked what's the most popular burger combo.
Clean place, atmosphere was comfortable. The burger itself was a bit smaller for my eyes but it got the job done.“

“I've never had udon before, but this place came highly recommended from a friend who has been to Japan a couple of times. I was not disappointed! The noodles were fresh and delicious; I stuck with the tonkatsu broth I'm familiar with from ramen places, and it was excellent too. I would say don't be afraid to go for the large portion, I came hungry and with that and a couple of (sides? toppings?) like the zucchini and the potato croquette I was in dining heaven. I want to go back as soon as I can!“

“Stopped by around 7pm on a Wednesday. Very few customers present so we were seated upon arrival. Water had a chemical taste so we both ordered carbonated water. Simply Thai Fried Rice was very tasty and quite filling so we ended up taking home about half of it in a box. The Larb Salad was very tasty and quite spicy so I wished I would have ordered 2 star hotness instead of 3 stars, but it was delicious. Service was very good.“

When we stopped on 6/24, it seemed like every other server and manager in the place was in a foul mood. We could tell by the look in their eyes and the scowls on their faces that they just didn't want to be there or particularly care about providing service. Except for our server Najay. She was super attentive, friendly, always smiling. We saw her all over the place taking care of tables that weren't even hers. A ray of sunshine in a sea of dismal people. Mind you my wife and I live one hour away and demanded that we bring back the product that was purchased back to them to inspect. “This restaurant inside Hotel 1000 was such a great experience from start to finish. The location is perfect, especially if you’re downtown, and the atmosphere feels upscale without being stuffy. Everything felt thoughtfully done, from the ambiance to the food and drinks.

I had the super dirty martini and it was perfect. The tuna crudo appetizer was absolutely delicious, and the steak for dinner was just as good. The portions were perfect, everything tasted incredibly fresh and well prepared, and it honestly felt like a great value for the quality of the experience.

What really made the night stand out though was Aisha. I was dining by myself, and she made the entire experience feel warm, comfortable, and welcoming. She was incredibly personable, so sweet, attentive, and genuinely kind. She checked in at all the right times without ever hovering and made me feel completely taken care of. Dining alone can sometimes feel awkward, but Aisha made it feel effortless and enjoyable. She truly leaves a lasting impression and is a huge part of why I would absolutely come back.“
